Absolutely delightful property for a trip to Mérida! We rented the casita which is a separate space next door to the main Casa Del Maya (where breakfast is served and the other rooms are), the private pool was heavenly and much bigger/deeper than expected. AC worked well, as did the fridge/freezer, so this place provided much sweet relief from the heat and humidity. Was very nice having the kitchen to boil water so we didn't have to buy a ton of bottled water. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom does not have a door between the bedroom and bathroom - not a problem, just good to be aware of. The beds were comfy, service was exceptional, massages (around the block at Casa Oasis) were worth every penny, and breakfast was delicious. Parking is on the street outside the property, nothing officially designated but we never had an issue finding a spot right outside the door. Owners were responsive and very pleasant. The upstairs room is accessed by a metal spiral staircase outside with a lovely view of the whole property. Lots of amazing restaurants, shops, and parks within ~10min walking.

Wonderful accommodation, friendly and attentive owners as team. Made our first trip to Merida Mexico one to remember. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are delicious. The outdoor pool and garden is peaceful and a beautiful place to relax. Totally recommend!

We loved our stay at Casa del Maya. The owners and staff were so kind and accommodating the entire time, really going above and beyond to help us feel relaxed and comfortable. The B&B itself is so charming and has such a nice mellow vibe. It’s in a great location, very clean and the breakfasts were all delicious and healthy! We stayed in the Casita and my kids loved having a private pool to swim in. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. No joke, Casa del Maya was one of my favorite stays anywhere and perfect for our family on our first visit to Mérida. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay in the casita apartment which is right next door to the main hotel. Aron, our host was fantastic and so helpful with car rentals and transport to the airport. Breakfast every day was delicious and we loved swimming in the private pool each afternoon. We were sad when it was time to leave this amazing B&B!

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Casa del Maya! The property grounds are beautiful, with very lovely plants growing all around. Aaron took care of all of our needs and the women in the kitchen cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. We got to see the owner, George, almost every day and we really enjoyed getting to know him. He really cares about making a special experience. We also took advantage of the sister property around the corner, Oasis, and enjoyed the Balance yoga class and we also got a massage at the spa. (*Note we did not need a room upgrade because we already had one of the best rooms!)

Casa del Maya is a dream. The staff are kind and attentive, the space is an oasis, and the location is unbeatable. The room is impeccably clean and breakfast is delicious. I participated in a yoga class and it was relaxing and fun. Truly a gem of a retreat in the incredible city of Mérida. Thanks for an awesome stay! I will stay here again if I have the privilege of re-visiting the wonderful city.

Staff is very nice and accommodating! Loved staying here, the property is very clean, the breakfast was delicious. The property is located in a good area, the historical sites are a 10-15 min walk (not bad).

Property very well taken off , warm and friendly staff. Nice traditional deco and beautiful tropical garden. It is nice to have different breakfast each day . Just only wish the breakfast serving time ends later than 9, but understand it is not easy ask for boutique operation. Slept good, sheets are comfy and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at casa del Maya! The rooms are beautiful and clean, the outdoor space is breathtaking, the breakfast delicious, and the people are so friendly and helpful. By far our favorite hotel on this entire trip. Could not recommend this place more!!

I spent a wonderful week at Casa del Maya and loved everything about the spot. The staff there kind and supportive. The location is perfect. And the rooms are comfy with everything you need (even an in room hammock). I would definitely return.

Go here. Extremely comfortable beds, amazing service, the juice and breakfast they served was sooo good. They speak English and Spanish. Extremely accommodating. I will definitely be going back!

We had already reserved the best room, so they couldn't upgrade us :) Staff were nice and responded to texts but maybe weren't around as much as usual since both the owner and manager had babies due the week we were there! Excellent excuse :) If you ask for what you need, it seems all is possible. For example, I asked to borrow a snorkle mask and waterbottle, and they happened to have some that other guests had left behind. They arranged a massage for me ($50 US) at their other (more upscale) property on a couple of hours notice. We wanted a charming place and we got it! The property is lovely, quiet, decorated beautifully, mellow. They have an honor bar and plenty of bottled water. Nice breakfast, not gourmet but hot and homemade. I did not prefer our shower, a rainshower, bc it was impossible to start it to warm up without getting wet. That's just me. The a/c worked like a charm. Adding some little snacks and upgrading the coffee would be welcome improvements. The location is convenient, about 5 blocks from the main areas. It is not unsafe or dirty, but there are many vacant buildings and the sidewalks are in terrible condition. Not many businesses, and even those few seemed to be closed sun-tues so it felt deserted. We did love the eco-store nearby that sells staples by the ounce, like nuts, granola, shampoo.

Overall our stay was a delightful experience. The lovely garden with the small pool offered a welcomed respite from the intense heat of the day. Our room was great but would have been better had there been a mini fridge.

Casa Del Maya is an excellent choice! The employees are extremely friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the area. They helped us find some of the nicest restaurants to visit around town, and even helped us order a taxi when checking out totally recommended. Not to mention they’re exquisite breakfast; they have amazing, genuine & absolutely delicious Yucatán dishes served hot and ready every morning! I will definitely be returning soon and recommending this hidden gem to others God bless!

Absolutely delightful property for a trip to Mérida! We rented the casita which is a separate space next door to the main Casa Del Maya (where breakfast is served and the other rooms are), the private pool was heavenly and much bigger/deeper than expected. AC worked well, as did the fridge/freezer, so this place provided much sweet relief from the heat and humidity. Was very nice having the kitchen to boil water so we didn't have to buy a ton of bottled water. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom does not have a door between the bedroom and bathroom - not a problem, just good to be aware of. The beds were comfy, service was exceptional, massages (around the block at Casa Oasis) were worth every penny, and breakfast was delicious. Parking is on the street outside the property, nothing officially designated but we never had an issue finding a spot right outside the door. Owners were responsive and very pleasant. The upstairs room is accessed by a metal spiral staircase outside with a lovely view of the whole property. Lots of amazing restaurants, shops, and parks within ~10min walking.

We had a wonderful stay in the casita apartment which is right next door to the main hotel. Aron, our host was fantastic and so helpful with car rentals and transport to the airport. Breakfast every day was delicious and we loved swimming in the private pool each afternoon. We were sad when it was time to leave this amazing B&B!

We were taking a chance on the location as Casa del Maya didn't appear to be in one of the more central areas of town (at least from what we could see on the map) but it's close to everything. The interior courtyard is lovely, quiet, lots of shady spaces to relax, while still being close to the historic Centro. We had stayed in a conference hotel for a few days prior, and the change of pace to calm and privacy was very welcome, especially as they allowed us to check in early. Great hosts and friendly staff made our stay delightful. The accommodations, breakfast and attention to detail, e.g. providing beach towels and bags for excursions as well as bug repellent and umbrellas for comfort. Property grounds were beautiful and lush with plantings, and the location was convenient to parks, historical area, restaurants and shops.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend. Breakfast was great, and the owner greeted us and was very warm and friendly. It is in walking distance to several locations most want to visit. We felt safe walking around, no problems at all. If you’re looking for something ultra luxurious this isn’t it but if you want a quaint, clean, zen and inviting experience don’t pass this bed & breakfast up.

We had already reserved the best room, so they couldn't upgrade us :) Staff were nice and responded to texts but maybe weren't around as much as usual since both the owner and manager had babies due the week we were there! Excellent excuse :) If you ask for what you need, it seems all is possible. For example, I asked to borrow a snorkle mask and waterbottle, and they happened to have some that other guests had left behind. They arranged a massage for me ($50 US) at their other (more upscale) property on a couple of hours notice. We wanted a charming place and we got it! The property is lovely, quiet, decorated beautifully, mellow. They have an honor bar and plenty of bottled water. Nice breakfast, not gourmet but hot and homemade. I did not prefer our shower, a rainshower, bc it was impossible to start it to warm up without getting wet. That's just me. The a/c worked like a charm. Adding some little snacks and upgrading the coffee would be welcome improvements. The location is convenient, about 5 blocks from the main areas. It is not unsafe or dirty, but there are many vacant buildings and the sidewalks are in terrible condition. Not many businesses, and even those few seemed to be closed sun-tues so it felt deserted. Property very well taken off , warm and friendly staff. Nice traditional deco and beautiful tropical garden. It is nice to have different breakfast each day . Just only wish the breakfast serving time ends later than 9, but understand it is not easy ask for boutique operation. Slept good, sheets are comfy and clean.

A friend and I traveled the full loop of the new Train Maya. Of the 5 accommodations at which we stayed, this was the best, hands down. Entering the calm, quiet and welcoming ambiance of Casa Del Maya always put smiles on our faces. The service, breakfast and attention to detail were all exemplary. It has my highest recommendation..

My girlfriend and I loved our stay at Casa del Maya! The property grounds are beautiful, with very lovely plants growing all around. Aaron took care of all of our needs and the women in the kitchen cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. We got to see the owner, George, almost every day and we really enjoyed getting to know him. He really cares about making a special experience. We also took advantage of the sister property around the corner, Oasis, and enjoyed the Balance yoga class and we also got a massage at the spa. (*Note we did not need a room upgrade because we already had one of the best rooms!)

A peaceful, relaxing oasis with a beautiful pool/ courtyard area and comfortable rooms decorated in a traditional style. The homemade breakfasts were incredible and more than substantial. Easy walk to town center, shopping and restaurants (but without the noise of the city). George, Sarah and Aaron were always available and very helpful. Highly recommend doing a food tour at the local market (near Plaza Grande) for better food at a fraction of the price of the touristy restaurants. Also enjoyed day trips to Uxmal and some rural cenotes, the flamingo beach at Celestun, the free city center walking tour, and a boat trip to Isla Columpias. Mérida is a safe and friendly city - we would definitely return and stay at Casa del Maya again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful casita in Mérida. Everything about our experience exceeded our expectations. The casita itself was charming, clean, and very comfortable. The pool was absolutely perfect for cooling off after exploring the city, and we spent a lot of time enjoying the peaceful outdoor space. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made our stay feel special from the moment we arrived. The location was also ideal—close to everything we wanted to see while still feeling quiet and relaxing. Breakfast each morning was delicious and such a nice touch. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore Mérida. We truly loved our stay here and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Mérida!
