Had a good stay at Aku, so I stayed here again when I came back to Lima. Pros: Rooms are clean and the AC works well. Staff is nice and very accommodating. Service is very good. The luggage storage is a huge plus. Great neighborhood, next to Bosque El Olivar and tons of coffee shops and restaurants. One of the safest and nicest parts of Lima. Cons: The hotel is nice but a bit outdated. The breakfast is severely lacking, especially for a 4 star hotel.

A beautiful eco friendly hotel in the center of Lima. Conveniently located in the center of city within walking distance to all. A short drive from airport but worth the travel. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Lima.

Nice hotel in the San Isidro district. The area around the hotel is fairly quiet (for Lima), and is walkable to some phenomenal restaurants, a nice church, Bosque El Olivar (a beautiful park very near the hotel), and is overall very nice, central, and safe. The hotel itself is pretty modern and well staffed. The room was comfortable and clean (under the bed was a bit dusty, but everything else was fine). Would definitely recommend staying.

El precio no es justificable para lo ofrecido, la limpieza en general deja mucho que desear, no dejaron toallas, jabones ni shampo la primera noche, tuve que pedirlos, las toallas que nos dieron (todas las noches) estaba percudidas y desgastadas, el buffet es muy básico.

Schimmel im Bad Fast jeden Tag hat etwas gefehlt wie bspw ein Handtuch, kein neues Toilettenpapier. Unterm Bett ist eine dicke Staubschicht, sehr unangenehm wenn einem da was darunter rollt. Extrem hellhörig, zum Glück ist es eine ruhige Gegend. Frühstück ist sehr wenig Auswahl. Kaum Abwechslung, Speisen vom Vortag werden wieder angeboten/aufgewärmt, anders kann man sich nicht erklären warum es am ersten Tag deutlich besser als am 2. Tag schmeckt. Frisches Obst, aber schmeckt auch nur teilweise gut. Am letzten Morgen stand ein Getränk auf dem Tisch ohne Preisschild und es wurden uns beim Check-Out dann 14 Soles berechnet. Auf den Hinweis dass kein Preis dabei stand, wurde nicht reagiert. Antworten nicht auf Nachrichten, Flughafentransfer deutlich teurer als mit Taxen Fazit: wer seinen Urlaub genießen möchte, sollte sich ein anderes Hotel suchen

We only stayed here two nights, but it was a great stay. The hotel is not very large and it is in a quiet neighborhood. The room was nice and provided plenty of space and we chose the king size bed, which was excellent. It also had air conditioning, which made the sleeping at night better, but the unit was a bit noisy, so we just cooled the room prior to sleeping. The bathroom was good size and we had no issues with hot water or water pressure. We also were provided with regular size towels, as the ones in Cusco were on the smaller size. Our room also offered a kettle and some cups, so we were able to make our own tea in the room. This was a nice touch for us. We had to get the sugar from the dining room downstairs.

Based on my person experience and my opinion ONLY. The check in was great! Internet is great! I asked a king sized bed and paid for it; however I was given (2) two twin mattresses merged one with each other. I hate the feel when my body is in the middle of that gap. Hotel located in great area; however I would stay elsewhere. You will hear every person on the floor due to no isolation and cheap room doors. There were construction activities at or about 7:30 in the morning on the street. 3.8 out of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was on a quiet street so noise pollution was not an issue. Beds were comfortable, and we were able to get additional pillows and blankets to make our sleep even better. Only downfall is that the images for the bedrooms and bathrooms don't always match. Image for the room we booked showed both shower and bath within the bathroom, but when we arrived there was only a shower. A quick talk with the front desk got us another room with only a bath. We were told for the future any specific request for the bathroom to place in the requests box. Now we know for next time.

The staff there was very understanding and eager to help. When one of my tours got messed up the staff called the tour operator and went to bat for me. Also there is a wonderful park nearby (Barque de Olivar) with large grassed area and lots of olive trees and security. A great walk every morning to get you in the right mood. I plan to return there.

I booked a room way in advance and when it came time to check in (8pm) they informed me there was an issue with a prior guest who could not check out due to a medical issue. I understood that because of that they did not have an available room, but they told me they booked a 4 star hotel and would pay for our taxi. I booked that hotel as it was walkable from our pickup spot for our transportation the following day. The new hotel was further out and required a taxi. As an inconvenience they offered us breakfast, but we informed them it was not possible as we were being picked up at 5am. Instead we suggested dinner. They agreed but only offered 2 options no no beverage choice. It was clear they had a list of other options as the whole menu on the wall of their dining area. not only that it seemed like it was an inconvenience for them to compensate for our inconvenience. it seems like they wanted us out as soon as possible. When arriving to the new hotel that they booked. it turns out it was not a 4 star as they stated. Internet showed it was a 3.5 star and cheaper than our original booking. It would be different if they moved up on the hotel for the inconvenience to the booking they should honor, but they downgraded and wanted us out as soon as possible as it is less of a liability. Overall experience was terrible and would NOT recommend based on the service provided.

When arriving to the new hotel that they booked. it turns out it was not a 4 star as they stated. Internet showed it was a 3.5 star and cheaper than our original booking. It would be different if they moved up on the hotel for the inconvenience to the booking they should honor, but they downgraded and wanted us out as soon as possible as it is less of a liability. Overall experience was terrible and would NOT recommend based on the service provided.

A lovely hotel next to the park, quiet. The room was spacious and clean though better lighting was needed.it was a little dark. The bed was large and very comfortable. The sfatt where efficient and friendly. There are plenty of great restaurants near by and loads of small shops, plus a Japanese supermarket and a tambo convenience store. Would happily stay again

The hotel is on the smaller side, but very clean and very helpful staff .. the location is the best .. it's a walking distance to everything and in the heart of San Isidro and next to the "El Olivar" .. an amazing park to rest and walk around .. very safe all the area around it.

Nice hotel in the San Isidro district. The area around the hotel is fairly quiet (for Lima), and is walkable to some phenomenal restaurants, a nice church, Bosque El Olivar (a beautiful park very near the hotel), and is overall very nice, central, and safe. The hotel itself is pretty modern and well staffed. The room was comfortable and clean (under the bed was a bit dusty, but everything else was fine). Would definitely recommend staying.

Had a good stay at Aku, so I stayed here again when I came back to Lima. Pros: Rooms are clean and the AC works well. Staff is nice and very accommodating. Service is very good. The luggage storage is a huge plus. Great neighborhood, next to Bosque El Olivar and tons of coffee shops and restaurants. One of the safest and nicest parts of Lima. Cons: The hotel is nice but a bit outdated. The breakfast is severely lacking, especially for a 4 star hotel.

We only stayed here two nights, but it was a great stay. The hotel is not very large and it is in a quiet neighborhood. The room was nice and provided plenty of space and we chose the king size bed, which was excellent. It also had air conditioning, which made the sleeping at night better, but the unit was a bit noisy, so we just cooled the room prior to sleeping. The bathroom was good size and we had no issues with hot water or water pressure. We also were provided with regular size towels, as the ones in Cusco were on the smaller size. Our room also offered a kettle and some cups, so we were able to make our own tea in the room. This was a nice touch for us. We had to get the sugar from the dining room downstairs.

Aku is a mid range hotel. Nothing to write home about but friendly staff with clean and tidy rooms. Close to shops and restaurants and a nice big park. Safe area. Cheap bathroom accessories. Very expensive restaurant and bar area. Breakfast also very expensive. Go across the street the cafe is half the price.

Schimmel im Bad Fast jeden Tag hat etwas gefehlt wie bspw ein Handtuch, kein neues Toilettenpapier. Unterm Bett ist eine dicke Staubschicht, sehr unangenehm wenn einem da was darunter rollt. Extrem hellhörig, zum Glück ist es eine ruhige Gegend. Frühstück ist sehr wenig Auswahl. Kaum Abwechslung, Speisen vom Vortag werden wieder angeboten/aufgewärmt, anders kann man sich nicht erklären warum es am ersten Tag deutlich besser als am 2. Tag schmeckt. Frisches Obst, aber schmeckt auch nur teilweise gut. Am letzten Morgen stand ein Getränk auf dem Tisch ohne Preisschild und es wurden uns beim Check-Out dann 14 Soles berechnet. Auf den Hinweis dass kein Preis dabei stand, wurde nicht reagiert. Antworten nicht auf Nachrichten, Flughafentransfer deutlich teurer als mit Taxen Fazit: wer seinen Urlaub genießen möchte, sollte sich ein anderes Hotel suchen

The hotel was very nice super clean and friendly staff. The only bad thing I would say would be the bathroom. Well the toilet bathroom was perfect but the toilet had a water problem. When you flush there is very little force of water so you find yourself flushing 5-6 times. Thats the only thing I didn’t like they need to put more pressure on the toilets so you don’t find yourself flushing too many times, waste of water and time you waiting in bathroom to finally flush.

Quiet, clean, professional and helpful. My only issue was room service kept putting the sheet on top of what looked like a blanket instead sheet against fitted sheet. Maybe it was a new hire but nothing to be upset about. While I came prepared with my converter box for my gear, I really enjoyed the U.S. 110 outlets in our room. I also walked to a fine grocery, a bodega, a chicken spot literally across the ultra quiet street and an amazing little bakery.
