Great location and value. From the one corner of the property you have full view of the beach/ocean. As you leave from the back gate it is less than a minute walk to the beach. Very close to the shops and restaurants. The hotel is set up as separate cabana rooms, we liked it as felt more privacy and could sit outside our room and not disturb nor be disturbed by others. Good size pool to do laps. Grassy area next to pool put lounge chair on to read etc. The full ocean view is blocked by a building, but as mentioned it is not a beachfront hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beer and water for purchase available on site, aborrete directly across the street. Laundry service available one block up.There is secure gated parking for a few vehicles.

El lugar está muy bien ubicado a escasos 3 minutos de playa Zicatela, la alberca muy bien, es de fácil acceso, todos los días hicieron limpieza al cuarto,tiene aire acondicionado. Tiene pequeños detalles a mejorar, por ejemplo una pequeña toalla de manos para el lavabo y tal vez una televisión, lo único negativo fue que en el reglamento de la alberca decia que no se podia comer o beber y desafortunadamente durante mi estancia hubo gente bebiendo y comiendo dentro de la alberca dejando ahí los plásticos de los six de las latas.

Do not stay at this hotel on a night that the nearby night club Piedra de la Iguana is playing. The whole room was pounding from the bass all night long with no way to block the noise. The other nights the hotel was satisfactory with easy access to Playa Zicatela and the pool was nice for hanging out during the hottest part of the day.

Es un buen ligar pero la señorita en recepción es un tanto cortante y pues hay que preguntarle todo. La alberca muy bien, el lobby un tanto desordenado pero bien. Deben especificar que los coches se quedan en la calle y no en un estacionamiento. Su aire acondicionado muy bien y su agua caliente de maravilla.

Había en la regadera un preservativo de los huéspedes anteriores, no tienen cuidado en la limpieza. Fuera de eso, está bien a secas por lo que pagas, solo la calle de ingreso hacia la playa se siente algo insegura.

L’hôtel ne ressemble pas du tout aux photos sur le site. Un immense immeuble en construction juste devant la fenêtre et mon balcon empêche une grande partie de la vue sur la plage. Boîte de nuit sur la plage à quelques mètres en extérieur. Musique à fond jusqu’à 5h du matin. Impossible de dormir. C’est une honte

Very clean and comfortable hotel with great A/C plus fan. No TV, no mini fridge, no bedside lamp. No hand towel just two bath towels. Saturday night stay included free EDM blasting through the neighborhood until 3am from a wedding reception near the beach. Hotel not very soundproof in that regard. Felt like I was getting knocked off my bed like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Would definitely stay again just not on a Friday or Saturday.

PROS: Staff: Diego & Brenda we’re Awesome hotel workers. Clean Rooms, pleasant Housekeepers. CON: Biggest Eye sore of unfinished 4 story building behind pool area. (Side of hotel) It’s been there unfinished for 9 years!!! Part of Staff: Older man who was working there when we arrived, charged us more money for our stay there when we had already paid for our Stay 2 months prior to when we booked hotel with Expedia. We should get reimbursed. The other 2 hotels we went to we had no issues at all on check in. No TV in rooms. 1 TV in Lobby only. 2 different days there was LOUD Music coming from area from a club like behind hotel close to beach area till 5:30 a.m. !!!!!!! We should be reimbursed for the extra money we were told we had to pay according to ‘ older Check in Male Staff Person. All booked by Expedia

We enjoyed our stay at villa Casalet! Very close to the beach, restaurants and shops but far enough away from the loud night life at zicatela. Staff was nice and helpful. For the price you can’t bet it!

Es un buen ligar pero la señorita en recepción es un tanto cortante y pues hay que preguntarle todo. La alberca muy bien, el lobby un tanto desordenado pero bien. Deben especificar que los coches se quedan en la calle y no en un estacionamiento. Su aire acondicionado muy bien y su agua caliente de maravilla.

PROS: Staff: Diego & Brenda we’re Awesome hotel workers. Clean Rooms, pleasant Housekeepers. CON: Biggest Eye sore of unfinished 4 story building behind pool area. (Side of hotel) It’s been there unfinished for 9 years!!! Part of Staff: Older man who was working there when we arrived, charged us more money for our stay there when we had already paid for our Stay 2 months prior to when we booked hotel with Expedia. We should get reimbursed. The other 2 hotels we went to we had no issues at all on check in. No TV in rooms. 1 TV in Lobby only. 2 different days there was LOUD Music coming from area from a club like behind hotel close to beach area till 5:30 a.m. !!!!!!! We should be reimbursed for the extra money we were told we had to pay according to ‘ older Check in Male Staff Person. All booked by Expedia

Lovely place to stay, very close to beach and shops etc..rooms cleaned every day..staff lovely and friendly. Nice pool too. Is noisy at night at weekends due to club nearby but with earplugs fine.

Great location and value. From the one corner of the property you have full view of the beach/ocean. As you leave from the back gate it is less than a minute walk to the beach. Very close to the shops and restaurants. The hotel is set up as separate cabana rooms, we liked it as felt more privacy and could sit outside our room and not disturb nor be disturbed by others. Good size pool to do laps. Grassy area next to pool put lounge chair on to read etc. The full ocean view is blocked by a building, but as mentioned it is not a beachfront hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beer and water for purchase available on site, aborrete directly across the street. Laundry service available one block up.There is secure gated parking for a few vehicles.

El lugar está muy bien ubicado a escasos 3 minutos de playa Zicatela, la alberca muy bien, es de fácil acceso, todos los días hicieron limpieza al cuarto,tiene aire acondicionado. Tiene pequeños detalles a mejorar, por ejemplo una pequeña toalla de manos para el lavabo y tal vez una televisión, lo único negativo fue que en el reglamento de la alberca decia que no se podia comer o beber y desafortunadamente durante mi estancia hubo gente bebiendo y comiendo dentro de la alberca dejando ahí los plásticos de los six de las latas.

Do not stay at this hotel on a night that the nearby night club Piedra de la Iguana is playing. The whole room was pounding from the bass all night long with no way to block the noise. The other nights the hotel was satisfactory with easy access to Playa Zicatela and the pool was nice for hanging out during the hottest part of the day.

El lugar esta en excelente ubicación, muy limpio, la alberca super, hay tienda enfrente, restaurantes y comercios también, lo único malo que no es culpa del hotel es que construyeron un edificio justo enfrente lo que le quita la vista en la terraza hacia el mar

We enjoyed our stay at villa Casalet! Very close to the beach, restaurants and shops but far enough away from the loud night life at zicatela. Staff was nice and helpful. For the price you can’t bet it!

Our stay was excellent and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout. The location is ideal and just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants, which made everything very convenient. We especially loved nearby spots like Spirulina, El Cafecito, and Cafe Dan’s, which quickly became some of our favorites during the trip. The pool on the property was a highlight for us, especially as a place to relax and cool off after long days at the beach before heading out in the evenings. The only downside was the heat inside the house during the day. While this was somewhat expected given the climate, the fans could only do so much until it cooled down at night.
