Found it to be a great place to stay, great night with karaoke on saturday night. few bars and food within 5 minutes walking . will definitely be returning for more then the one night.

The property is old and in need of updating There is very limited parking so not all guests can park, like i could not. My bathroom was a bit dated and it had a water leak from somewhere. I only stayed one night which was just as well for me as i wouldnt want another

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, much larger than expected. Nice room, great friendly staff and excellent breakfast. We got a bargain but would definitely pay more to stay again. Free parking if you're lucky to grab a spot.

An excellent hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was also excellent. There was entertainment in the bar every evening. My room was very good with a nice, comfortable bed.

Dated decour but under new owners who are renovating. The hotel has the most helpful wonderful staff, nothing to much trouble to them. Food good, ideal central location, clean safe and secure. Close to tram and bus stops. Bar at the premises with entertainment. Their motto 'Arrive as strangers leave as friends ' 100% true Definitely would stay there again

Decent sized room for a single. Comfy bed and good sized tv. Friendly welcoming staff and fun bar downstairs. Few others pubs and takeaways a short walk away, as was the beach with nice prom. Got parked behind hotel both nights, only a small area off the back alleyway but convenient. Hot tap spluttered and water was yellowy orange. Cold tap ran warm for ages then chilled to tepid but was far from cold. Made the coffee taste awful. And i couldnt get shower cool enough to get under. I chose the hotel purely due to its location and fair price but probably would find somewhere different next time.

The hotel is situated on a main road and states that there is car parking but it was full so we had to park in a council car park up the road near a bus station my husband struggled as we have a blue badge The beach is not direct access it is also up the road The staff are lovely

My sister and i stayed overnight midweek. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lacking some fruit and yoghurt but everything else was good. Bed was comfy, room very clean, restaurant very clean and lounge very comfortable. Could do with some updating but the staff made it a great stay and if im in the area again i wouldnt hesitate to come back.

Very poor hotel, the rooms where very outdated. There were holes in the curtains and the carpet was absolutely filthy. There was mould in the bathroom and damp wet ceilings. The towel was dirty and had holes in it. It states parking at the hotel but there are only 6 spaces at the back first come first serv. The fan on the ceiling was very old and hanging on by a thread. It sounded like a helicopter in the room. The good points are that the staff were very friendly. The bed sheets were very clean.

Room was clean but very dated, nothing in the room matched. I asked for a walk in shower, I am a disabled lady and cannot climb in the bath to shower. The bath was very high up and the whole bathroom was very dated. Unfortunately, the cold tap on the sink fell apart and broke in my hand. I did pay for breakfast but didn’t stay for it, I couldn’t shower in the morning so packed up early and left to head home back to Scotland. This was a last minute booking, I would not book here again.

I was amazed at our room. One bedroom with TV and one other room with sofa and TV. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Large bathroom with bath and shower. It's being refurbished so parts are a bit dated but all in all I highly recommend it!

room was ok. Staff friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very nice and served by a very friendly and helpful staff member. Everyone combined to make the stay very pleasant. Would stay there again. Thankyou.

The only problem was that being disabled checked that I could have access with my mobility scooter but the reality was that the lift was so small and the ramp. Had to be asked for. This was ok when there was staff available but on 3 occasions I had to ask passers by to lift it in

Staff were friendly at breakfast. But the hotel wasn’t great and personally not worth £68 a night. The rooms appeared smaller than pictured on the website too. We had no hot water and was told by the manager that we did… it wasn’t until the other people on our floor told her that they didn’t have hot water that she believed us and checked our rooms, then said ‘I suppose you want some kind of refund then’. We managed to get a £20 refund. Personally we won’t be returning.

Decent sized room for a single. Comfy bed and good sized tv. Friendly welcoming staff and fun bar downstairs. Few others pubs and takeaways a short walk away, as was the beach with nice prom. Got parked behind hotel both nights, only a small area off the back alleyway but convenient. Hot tap spluttered and water was yellowy orange. Cold tap ran warm for ages then chilled to tepid but was far from cold. Made the coffee taste awful. And i couldnt get shower cool enough to get under. I chose the hotel purely due to its location and fair price but probably would find somewhere different next time.

The hotel is situated on a main road and states that there is car parking but it was full so we had to park in a council car park up the road near a bus station my husband struggled as we have a blue badge The beach is not direct access it is also up the road The staff are lovely

room was ok. Staff friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very nice and served by a very friendly and helpful staff member. Everyone combined to make the stay very pleasant. Would stay there again. Thankyou.

Pleasantly surprised by the hotel, much larger than expected. Nice room, great friendly staff and excellent breakfast. We got a bargain but would definitely pay more to stay again. Free parking if you're lucky to grab a spot.

My sister and i stayed overnight midweek. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, lacking some fruit and yoghurt but everything else was good. Bed was comfy, room very clean, restaurant very clean and lounge very comfortable. Could do with some updating but the staff made it a great stay and if im in the area again i wouldnt hesitate to come back.

The positives were the bed was clean and reasonably comfortable. The staff in the bar were polite and friendly. Great location. The bedroom had not been properly cleaned, toenails on the carpet, soap covered in hairs in the shower, dirty shower curtain paint peeling to an extensive degree in the shower and toilet. Standard double was very small. Online pictures did not reflect reality. Would not recommend or return.

The room was very dated and behind the bed was full of dust the mattress didn't fit the bed . When asked for the Internet pass I was told by staff they didn't know it . No complimentary shampoo or hand wash . No parking facility
