Olympia Hotel

Great customer service at arrival! The room wasn’t ready (but we came early), so she offered us to store the luggage and wait at the pool of we liked. She also came and told us when the room was ready (before original check in time). So excellent service! :)

Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Olympia was extremely disappointing. The rooms were in very poor condition and far below what we expected. The hotel is advertised as being near the beach, but it is actually quite far from the beach, which was very misleading. The hotel is located on a steep slope, making parking very difficult and risky. We were travelling with a 1-year-old child, yet despite the hotel knowing this in advance, we were given a room right at the bottom of the reception area. We had to climb approximately 35 stairs up and down every time we needed to reach our room, which was extremely inconvenient with a small child. Room service was not provided unless we specifically asked for it, and when we did ask, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. The pool bar staff were equally unpleasant. The pool bar guy was constantly on his phone, behaved very rudely, and was frequently swearing. The most shocking part of our stay was that the pool bar staff member even threatened to hit us while we were in our car. This was completely unacceptable and made us feel unsafe. Overall, the staff were extremely rude, the rooms were very poor, the location was misleading, and the service was unacceptable. This is honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here.

This was, by far, the worst and dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. Booked a room with a big balcony. Only to discover that the balcony was a shared place, no privacy. The rooms had mold, smelled, and had lack of maintenance and cleaning procedures. Leaking toilet and the hot water boiler had to be turned off and on when showering (they showed oss the fuse, but I did not know why we needed to do this). The parking was full all the time, so we had to park on the street. The pool was dirty, with hair floating around in it, and no lifeguard. Got an upgrade to a new room, but it was not much better. The locking on the door stopped working several times and we were told to just bring the cash and passport and leave the rest (with the door open). The staff did the best they could, tried their best to help us and was friendly and understanding, and after 2 long days, they gave us a partly refund so we could move out. This hotel needs maintanence, s better description for facilities and a real scrub down before it could get better.

It worked for the price.
