Stayed 7 nights

We stayed at Mediterranean Blue Hotel for 7 days and had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is family-run by Penny and her sons, and what impressed us most was their genuine kindness. They didn't just provide good service—they truly cared about us as their guests and consistently went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations. Our flight was delayed, so we arrived after 11 PM when dinner had finished. Penny had noticed this and saved several plates of food for us, which was such a thoughtful welcome after a long journey. The food was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast had plenty of choice, lunch offered both burgers and traditional Greek dishes, and although the dinner buffet wasn't huge (usually 3–4 main courses), everything was fresh, tasty and well prepared. We'd rather have a smaller selection of great food than a large buffet of average quality. Pizza Night and the Greek Night were both highlights, and Marios even reserved us a great table. The private beach was peaceful, with plenty of free sunbeds and crystal-clear water. We also booked a snorkeling and sunset boat trip through the hotel, and everything was arranged perfectly. If you're coming to Kavos purely for the nightlife, you may prefer staying closer to the centre. For us, the quieter location was perfect, with the party strip only a 15-minute walk away. Penny, Marios and the whole family made us feel genuinely welcome. We'd happily stay here again and highly recommend Mediterranean Blue Hotel.

Penny at the front desk was more than helpful however, every question/request had to be approved by her. This made her crazy busy and we were uncomfortable asking for assistance with any thing. some of her tasks should be delegated to the rest of the staff. Beds are way too hard and no toppers provided. Food was average. Grounds were in need of maintenance.Lacking umbrellas for the large pool.Too few employees making others do way too much work. Good location in walking distance to town. Mini market across the street well supplied. Some rooms are very small just be aware.
