This is a very solid hotel for a reasonable price. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was nice and the water pressure/temperature of the shower was excellent. The AC blew cold, the mini fridge worked properly, and the desk was a nice touch to get work done on a laptop. The hotel is a fairly large property with multiple amenities that make this a very comfortable option for longer stays. There’s a gym, 2 hot tubs, a nice pool, and even a communal kitchen type area you can prepare your own food (no stove or oven, just microwave, sink, and fridge). There’s also a restaurant/bar on the property that we didn’t eat at, and there’s a cafe as well - they serve tasty smaller bites and coffee. The location is convenient enough to get Taxi’s and/or Grabs from. It’s a little tricky to navigate through because there’s a network of very narrow roads, but Google maps will get ya where you need to go. Lots of tasty food within walking distance and a couple 711’s as well. I’d probably give the hotel 5 stars for the value you get, however, we had a strange incident before checking out. The check out time is 12 noon so we went out in the morning for a last stroll around and coffee. We got back around 11 to pack up but our key card no longer worked. The front desk told us that since it was close to checkout, the key card could no longer work and they’d need to let us in themselves. Not a big deal but we got the sense they wanted us out before checkout. Overall a great stay!

Amazing hotel and staff as-well ! From the beginning to the end of my stay i was welcomed and treated nicely and the amnesties were very nice. You can find a pool a jacuzzi on both side of the rooftop as well as gym and a beautiful view up there! Make sure to catch a sunrise its amazing one side of the roof also has a restaurant and the other side has lots of sitting chairs and tables. That location is very good because it’s nearby a mall and lots of local food stops and 7/11 so you have an easy access to all of that. The room has a mini fridge, tv, a good AC, lots of lighting options, a small balcony, water boiler, a counter with drawers etc. There is also an elevator for those asking ! Parking lot available also. Anyways i recommend anyone in bangkok trying this place out, I’ll be back for sure!

It was quiet. Bar food good price! I had to order double because portions were small, but well worth it! Hopefully, someday get new gym equipment! But extremely satisfied! Next time in Bangkok, this will the place for me and recommendations!

Room hadn’t been cleaned properly and there were crisps behind curtain which brought many ants. Room booked for 3 but no bedding for 3rd person and mattress on fold out stained. Breakfast poor, milk warm and offerings looked nothing like the pictures in reception. Steps beside pool incredibly dangerous.

Grundsätzlich handelt es sich bei dem iSanook um ein modernes Hotel. Uns hat besonders gefallen, dass es auf dem Dach zwei Jacuzzis und zwei Sonnenterrassen gibt. Der Pool war auch schön und sehr erfrischend. Das Personal des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist außerhalb der Frühstückszeit sehr empfehlenswert. Allerdings ist von dem Frühstück abzuraten, es war eine sehr geringe Auswahl und diese war auch nicht besonders gut. Außerdem war das Zimmer (A-Gebäude) sehr hellhörig. Man konnte keine Nacht wirklich gut schlafen, da man zum Einen die anderen Gäste und zum Anderen den lauten Kühlschrank, die ganze Zeit hörte. Der Fernseher lies sich auch nicht ausschalten. Das Zimmer war durch das gegenüberliegende Gebäude des Hotels einsehbar, weshalb man den größten Teil der Zeit die Vorhänge geschlossen lies. Das Licht im Badezimmer war spärlich. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist nicht die Schönste und im Dunkeln auch recht gruselig. Dennoch liegt das Hotel sehr zentral und man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichen (z.B. Lumphini Park, Wat Pho, usw.). Für drei Nächte war das Hotel total ausreichend, aber wiederkommen würden wir wahrscheinlich nicht.

Only stayed one night in between flights, but it was a pleasant experience. Checkin was quick and easy, Room was like an apartment with kitchen facilities. Air conditioning in lounge and bedroom worked well. Plenty of multimedia options with a smart tv setup. Breakfast wasn’t the full buffet breakfast choice but it was ample. Staff were friendly and helpful. MBK shopping centre is about 1.6k away.

For the price it is great . Good service ,cleaning daily room could be improved that is a sore point after few times I made noted that the room daily is not done properly.the best thing has been that one night the air con was not working properly and in 20 minutes the problem has been fixed from the guy of the maintenance.room are big ,gym available,central area so I do really recommend it to everyone short stay and long stay .

DO NOT STAY HERE. I lost my room key (cheap RF programmable card), and they charged me 300 bht ($10) for a new one. That really pissed me off. What should have been a mild inconvenience in any other hotel was a profit center for this one. It should have been free, or if they HAD to charge, it should have been much cheaper. I won't stay at a hotel that is looking to penalize me for basic mistakes. The rooms were nice, and the staff was lovely, but you can find that anywhere in BKK. I would avoid a hotel that treats their guests that way. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Everything was pretty much great! However, I was disappointed that I had to clean up my protein shake on the floor with a towel, and they charged me $10 for it. I felt like I should have been able to use the towel to clean it up.

This was not our first time staying at the isanook hotel, and certainly won't be the last. The staff is always wonderful and accommodating. The rooms are large and clean and have everything you need. The pool is quiet and always seems to be pretty empty. Not too many rooms here so there's no huge crowds of people everywhere fighting for elevators or getting in your way. The location is in a residential area so you get a very "locals" feel. Small restaurants, shops and businesses everywhere. Easy to get around and walkable. Love it here, and will definitely be staying here again soon!

This is a hidden gem in Bangkok and I’m glad not a lot of people know about this place. The place is tucked away from the city but still accessible to shops, dining, malls and transportation. The staffs is what truly make this place shine. From the house keeper to the cafe attendant to the front desk super friendly helpful and professional. I love this place and would definitely comeback again whenever I find myself in Bangkok again.

Schönes, relativ modernes Hotel. Metro, Cafés, Straßenrestaurants Nightmarkets, China Town, Fährenstation - alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Empfehlung und Geheimtipp: Die Samyan Mitrtown Mall über der Metro-Station, zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten entfernt. Guter Startpunkt für ein Frühstück vor der Stadterkundung.

It’s walkable, not 13 minutes walk when you get off the Sam yan stop (BL27) from the blue line train . Around 30 minutes drive to the Dmk airport. It’s a good deal for that price

Exceeded all expectations, ended up being a lot bigger and nicer than we thought. Breakfast was good but not included and the location is a bit off the beaten path but felt safe walking there even very late at night. You will have to take a Grab to get to most of the popular spots in Bangkok but no complaints about our stay here.

English speaking staff located between MRT subway and Chao river ferry with 15 minute walk. No taxi required if you like to stroll with transportation cost between $.50 and $1.00 US each way. Nice pool but gym is very basic. 7/11 in nearby as is good street food.

とても清潔でスタッフさんたちの対応も丁寧ですが入り組んだ路地の一角に経っているため、タクシーの方でも分からない場合があります。途中からかなり道幅が狭くなるため、手前のセブンイレブンでタクシーを降りて途中から徒歩で向かうのが安全です。

Great location in Bangkok. Plenty of good local places to eat within walking distance and also the hotel food is good. Bar staff seemed a bit unsure of the promotions and i'd suggest some training on how to make a cocktail! But not the end of the world. Rooftop terrace and jacuzzi are nice to use

I booked this hotel because it was advertised with a super discount on hotels.com. This was just a lie, as the price I paid turned out to be the regular price. The location is really bad. The whole neighbourhood is dirty and smelly, and the hotel is hidden among tiny streets which cab drivers can't find even with GPS. Getting home at night is a real hassle. Then at the checkin you need to pay 1000 baths deposit. If you decide to do it with credit card, they will not just reserve the money, they will charge you, and they pay you back 2 weeks later. The staff speaks very poor English so forget about asking for any information. Then in the room there is an A4 sheet with a "damage price list", which tells you how much you have to pay if you damage something. I mean, I understand that I have to pay for damage, but is it really necessary to provide a list with around 50 items (including e.g. coffee spoon (150 baths), clothes hanger (100 baths), hairdryer bag (50 baths), etc.) I ordered a burger on the rooftop, which came with almost raw meat and cold cheese, and upon asking for the bill they had added 10% service carge and 7% taxes. I have never seen that in Thailand - generally the price you see is the price you pay. When I left I asked for the best way to get to the airport. The receptionist tod me that upon reaching the nearest metro station, it shouldn't take more than 30minutes. It ended up taking 1,5 hours, so good that I had planned enough time.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, clean, spacious and had a balcony. The swimming pool was very relaxing and pleasant to swim in after coming back to the hotel from a hot day sightseeing in Bangkok. I also found the location to be very convenient - there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area and the samyan metro station is an easy walk. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. I ate one evening in the hotel restaurant and the thai green curry was excellent. Would love to return.
