The location is excellent. The ocean view was beautiful but the windows were so dirty you couldn’t even take a clear pic. We weren’t told there would be construction going on on the floor below us…good morning to us with hammering and saws etc

Check in was amazingly easy. Parking was across the street but fir the view that was perfectly fine. Quiet building and no issues with checking in or finding our room. I was very happy with the room and the stay. We literally booked our room at 4:15pm from the restraunt and then walked right over and checked in.

Awesome boutique hotel in an excellent location. Exterior photos don’t do justice to the interior which has recently renovated rooms, the new carpet smell and all the fixings in the room- USB chargers, smart tvs etc. Pleasantly surprised to see there was an elevator in this hotel. Easy access to the front promenade with beach access. Decent parking in the rear. Had one little issue upon arrival but Wendy was quick to address it. Would definitely recommend.

the parking was a JOKE!!!! there was enough room for about 7 cars in tight spots. OH but you could park down the street & pull your luggage a block OR park on the narrow street & hope your new rental car doesn't get hit. You had to go through a dumpy area with trash cans to go up the elevator. the place to eat was good but VERY EXPENSEVE for what you got. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN!!!! the view from the room was very nice, room was not even put back together. chairs were piled on each other. carpet was dirty. microwave was on a different floor. HaHaHa

They are under construction but didn’t post anything on their website about it. We were woken up at 8:01 am with hammering, riveting and power saws. Mattress was also slumped in the middle. Management didn’t apologize or make any amends. 2nd night some obnoxious people checked in and kept talking loudly in the hallway not taking into consideration that others were on the floor. This set off all dogs to start barking from their rooms. Again, management didn’t care or make amends. I don’t recommend only because management seemed to be only worried that they get their money.

Unfortunately didn’t realize that the weekend I booked there would be a volleyball tournament, which made the experience outside the hotel uncomfortable as the area was super crowded. Was not able to get parking on site and had to drive around for a while to find some on the street.

There were only 6 very tight parking spots in the lot. The room we were in was through a locked outdoor gate, up an elevator and down a hallway. There was no balcony or way to access outside from our room. Down the hall, there was stair access to a small grass area for our dog to use next to the promenade walkway. Room was very small, bed was not very comfortable and carpet was in need of shampooing. We stayed in The Whale Watcher, which is a queen oceanfront, pet friendly room. Just a few minute walk from lots of bars and restaurants and the fun zone area. Onsite restaurant was closed, maybe for renovations. Probably would not stay here again.

We really liked this quaint hotel. I appreciated the elevator and close parking. And it was quiet and clean. Our dog enjoyed her stay also. We liked the hotel very much. I recommend it.

Room was filthy. Feet stuck to carpet. Ocean view room with windows so dirty it was like looking through frosted windows. Nails in the hallway from they remodel - supposedly from months ago...supposed to be a 1 bedroom penthouse...was two beds with one stuffed in a cubby 10 feet away. Was for 27 year anniversary, wife's birthday and 1st vacation in 15 years. Town was sold out so had to stay or sleep in my vehicle. Cancelled the remaining stay. Office staff was nice but never heard back after expressing my abject disappointment and requested a refund. So....weird. I don't have words to express what a disaster this was. Would never recommend this business. Oh, well...live and learn

Sand in the sheets, cobwebs in all the ceiling corners, hair on the vanity, sand in the shower. The fridge was gross, with food particles all over it and the freezer. Definitely a miss with the cleanliness. Overall, unclean, old, rundown, and it shows. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. The hotel needs to invest more in the state of their rooms and less in their virtual check in kiosk.

This place has a ton of potential, great location/ views etc BUT it’s in serious need of a remodel. Also in need of some housekeepers who actually know how to clean. Our room was filthy, especially the carpet. There were glass shards on the carpet as well as other visible loose dirt (did not look like it had been vacuumed at all). We went to put a salad in the mini fridge for later but ended up having to throw the salad away because as soon as we opened the fridge it smelled like something was actively rotting in it. It had been such a long day that I didn’t bring it up until the next morning as we were only staying the night and the sheets were clean at least. When I told the front desk person about this all they had to say was that they appreciated us telling them and that was it.

I booked a 2 night trip. The listing stated that we were staying in a “luxury town home”. Upon entering “Ocean song” we immediately noticed a moldy musty smell. The carpet was not clean. There was evidence of a leak in the ceiling that they attempted to paint over. It felt hard to breathe. The paint in the room was not very nice and the walls and trim were a bit abused. There was a large gap under the door and on the sides where you could see daylight. The coffee maker and station were quite dirty and disheveled. There was a black fake press on nail in the kitchen under the roll away island counter but just within eyesight. The beds all had shaggy fur blankets on them and there were visible handprints where someone had touched them all over. We took a short walk and after obsessing over the condition of the room, I informed the front desk that we couldn’t stay there due to the room conditions. She did not offer anything but for me to call the owner in the morning. Hotels.com was great and attempted multiple times to get me a refund since we did not stay here. They were unsuccessful due to this booking being “hotel pay”- I contacted the owner myself and am awaiting a possible refund for one of the nights.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed! From check-in to check out was a terrible experience. It felt like going into a basement where you went to the elevator. The hallways were narrow, dimly lit and there was a horrible smell both in the hallway and the room. The key hardly worked and the door stuck. The room was small and cramped. The add on the internet made it look so much nicer and bigger than it was. The jacuzzi tub was too small and you had to get out of the tub to turn it on and off. And it was so high with no steps. There was a plastic step stool that was unsafe to get on. The bathroom was small and awkward. The shower was in the bedroom, it was very old and the carpet was disgusting. It was a total rip off for the price they charged. I would NEVER go back or recommend it to anyone, It was the worse night I have ever had on a vacation. This place should not even be allowed to operate!!!

The room is in poor shape. The toilet runs constantly and often would not flush. The sink drain was filthy. The floor was filthy. Them windows would not work however one window was stuck open. The cleaning personel were very gracious but the entry clerk was short and unhelpful. This was the second time we've been there; the first time was just ok, Not great. We won't be back.

Our room, Clocktower, didn’t seem to have a thorough house keeping visit prior to our late check in. There was candy wrappers and dirty dishes from the previous guest, and the bath needed a good scrub. We didn’t notice these things until very late into the night when we went to use the dishes and bath, so we just took the few minutes to clean them ourselves. For the price I paid, I was expecting an exceptionally clean room. Did not get that. The view was gorgeous though! Bed was also very comfy!

The view from the room was amazing and it went downhill from there. Stains on the bedding and carpet, dirty windows and mirrors, and tub looked iffy. Overall the room was very dated and disappointing.

Wish there were more channels for kids on the tv. Windows were very dirty but could still see the ocean through them. There were loud thumps at night and a dog barking sometimes in the halls. Room was clean, and staff was very polite.

I booked the Spa Room that was supposed to have a jetted tub and a fireplace. Upon arriving in the room, I discovered the fireplace did not work. I called the front desk and the guy said he had known it needed a new part since yesterday. Never did he mention this to me before I made it into the room. I waited on the phone in awkward silence for him to offer a discount or something to make it up to me, but he did not. Then it was jetted tub time. The jets did not work and there was a worn metal piece over where the button would be to start the jets, so it was clear that the "jetted" tub had not been jetted in quite some time. I had to double-check the listing to see if it had actually said something like "soaking tub" but it said "jetted tub". I decided to wait until check-out to let the front staff know that the two features of the room I was most looking forward to (and paid for) were not in working order. However, the front desk person never asked how my stay was and at that point, I didn't feel confident they cared. I would have much rather mentioned my disappointment to them in-person than on here, but here we are. Great view of the ocean, but I will not stay here again when there are cleaner and more functional options literally next door.

Most of the rooms are pretty dated unless you book a room on the 4th floor. Expedia was advertising that all the rooms have jetted tubs and when we got there we did not have one. The jetted tubs are only in the renovated rooms. So when you book you think you’re getting a nicer room than what is actually there. However, shout out to Juan who was able to fix this and made sure we were happy.

This was the end of a trip for us and based on the pictures we were expecting something more. We selected the site and got the NW Timber room, it is a cool room but situated awkwardly with the bath and shower being upstairs (not covered by the blinds) in the late night this was very awkward considering.

The "suite" we stayed in was misrepresented as part of oceanfront hotel. It was not oceanfront. It was the upstairs to a separate tiny building that was not on the ocean and which did not have an ocean view. We could not even get to the ocean by walking through the main building. We had to walk around the block to get to the ocean.

Could hear people walking above, bathroom faucet leaked., my wife thought the bed was too hard, tV was small and difficult to use,

The room i was in was the queen with a spa in the room looki g over the ocean. There were broken and missing tiles in the flooring around the shower and the door to the shower refused to close properly. I couldnt really enjoy the view either because the windows were able to be looked in from the beach below where the shower was in the main room. Had to keep the blinds closed during my stay. There was no way of storing clothes, besides in my luggage as well as there was no where to put my computer and work in the room at all. There was also no basic cable so i had to log in to my subscriptions, but it kept having me login every hour or so so it took asay from the enjoyment of the entertainment i had to choose from. Especially with the internet being so slow i couldnt even enjoy games on my computer due to the load times being abysmal at best. Also the fridge was plugged into a dead plug and i had some food that i purchased go bad because of it, luckily i found out about the plug and was able to save some of my food the second day of my stay. For a beachfront property, it was ok for what it is. But definitely not worth the price i paid. Not when i have had this many issues.

We stayed in the mountain room. No view of the ocean. It is a cute room with a comfortable bed Unfortunately the ice machine is right outside the door, literally on the wall not in an alcove, ver loud. It is also right next to the elevator. The route to the beach is on this floor so the elevator is the only option. Because the elevator is slow, the people are waiting and talking right outside the bedroom door. We did not end up staying the night. Let at 10pm.

This property is a delightful boutique hotel with just 15-16 unique rooms. The third and fourth floors have been completely renovated and are anazing. If you can, get an oceanfront room… so nice to wake up to that view!

We stayed in the room called Seaside Beach on the 3rd floor. The panoramic view of the ocean from the 3 large windows was spectacular. The room was small with a king bed but well appointed and efficient, with refrigerator, microwave and Keurig. The sitting area near the windows gave a nice place to relax and enjoy the view of the beach and promanade below. The fireplace was a very nice touch. Bathroom had a very big counter and nice shower. Very comfortable. The locking gate made us feel safe in the heart of this popular beachfront town.

The room I reserved was not available, after had booked it, and was not made aware of this fact until check-in. I would have liked to know sooner. They said it was an "upgrade" from the room we had reserved...but it was not. The price was the same, but we liked the layout of the original room better.

Absolutely loved our stay! The front desk staff was phenomenal!

Ceiling leaked in the bathroom, a lot! Unsafe and unsanitary to use the shower. Nobody answered my 3 calls to the front desk. Owner was insincere in his apology and only offered $30 off my $514 tab. Supposedly no smoking or pets but the hallways reeked of marijuana and a dog was barking in the next room. Otherwise a charming inn in the midst of high rise condos.

The room was nice and newly remodeled. Bathroom was very nice. The windows were foggy and made it hard to see the view. We stayed two nights and had no housekeeping to even replenish coffee supplies for the next morning. I had to ask for them at the front desk. At the end of the stay front desk was nice and said they would email a receipt but never got one even when I requested one through a follow up email. There was also an extra $4 charge that I have no idea what it was for. Room received high marks but service needs work.

The front desk rep wasn’t very helpful. He forgot to give me the WiFi password so I had to go back and get it as he wouldn’t answer the phone. I wasn’t able to get the fireplace working in my room which he offered no help in checking out or fixing and he wasn’t sure how to get the smart tv to work. Very disappointed with the lack of assistance

We stayed in the clock tower for one night and Lewis and Clark for the second night. The clock tower was awesome, great experience. Lewis and Clark on the other hand.. one of the blinds were broken and we couldn’t close, which faced the neighbors, so that was awkward. And we had a jetted tub but there no instructions on how to use it, we couldn’t get the jets to turn on. We tried calling the front desk multiple times and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. So that’s was a bummer but otherwise great experience and very friendly staff, you just have to talk to them in person, otherwise they are unreachable.

Here we were stuck (?) at the beach, where our reserved hotel turned into a bummer. Yes, I'm old. Then this angel, Stevie, at Seaside Oceanfront Inn's reservation desk stepped into out evening and turned it around. She was so professional, kind, resourceful and all with a wonderful smile. Then the room/Inn was so beautiful. Highly recommend Stevie, the Inn & PS: upgrade your rooms, it's worth it! RP

I chose to stay at the Seaside Oceanfront Inn for my birthday with my friends. I booked a Suite with a king bed and two twin beds. The check-in process was smooth and the receptionist was kind—very nice staff. However, the room lacked many amenities listed in the description. Such as a microwave in the room. We were told after our visit that we were supposed to venture into the hotel lobby to use a microwave there. The shower was missing the inner plastic curtain and there was only enough soap/shower amenities for one person. Of course you can ask for more but a reservation for multiple guests in a suite you'd think they could put some more out. The coffee machine had a used pod in it and the holder for the new pods had used ones in it! The phone did not work and there was black mold under the windowsill and under the heater by the king bed. The coat hanger fell off the wall and injured me when I hung a jacket. It was mounted into drywall. The receptionist confirmed it was supposed to be used for hanging jackets and blamed a previous guest for the incorrect mounting. I requested compensation of any amount when in reality I should have requested a full refund then and there and was told they would look into it and call me. It’s been a few days now and I haven't heard anything. I'm forced to dispute the charge. I called them numerous times at different times of the day and couldn't get a hold of them. My expectations were not met with my stay at the Seaside Oceanfront Inn.

Clean room, beautiful beach access

The hotel location was perfect!

For an Oregon coast hotel, this was cute, quaint, nice view. The boardwalk is perfect to walk right along the beach to the main streets in town. The room was a little small, compared to mainstream hotels. The receptionist was super sweet. Parking was right out front. I suggested a full length mirror was needed in the room. Bed and pillows were comfty and electric fireplace was great atmosphere.

Perfect location, walking distance to everything, beach access, nice staff and beautiful room! Would stay here again! Highly recommend!

Beautiful Ocean Front Property on the Prom.

Great location

Cute spot. Loved that it was two blocks from city center and on the beach so that we could walk along the promenade. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend trying to get a room with a jacuzzi tub.

Quaint, older hotel. Location was perfect for us. Just a short walk to the promenade, hotel faces the beach. We stayed in the Mountain Cabin room that faces the road. Pets are allowed which was needed for us. Everything was very clean and every staff member we met was very friendly. Additionally after spending all day on the beach we loved the water pressure and double shower heads in the shower. Look forward to staying again.

Great location on prom and beach with beautiful views from room. Property has no amenities, restaurant was under construction but is a short walk from center of town, and still quiet. Would be nice if hotel offered beach chairs and umbrellas Rooms need black out curtains, shades offer privacy but hard to sleep in when sunrises at 5AM. Otherwise, nice pkace

Beautiful hotel on the water easy access to beach and broadway. Not much night life for singles but it was a beautiful stay and views when fog was clear!

The Ocean view rooms are worth the money. Elevator is great. Right on the Promenade for seaside stroll. We had small trouble with the coffee maker but Naomi left the front desk to help us. She also assisted us well with eating options. Naomi is personable and pleasant. ( Give her a raise ). *Good luck in your Vet. future. Overall great stay !!

We were so excited to stay in a penthouse room with the dark green quirky bathroom in the loft, but right away we noticed a huge crack in the center picture window, which caused a failed seal and a lot of condensation to obstruct the view. We were also concerned with our small children touching it in case it caused the crack to worsen, or get injured by it, as the crack ran from edge to edge in the pane. Additionally, the upstairs sink, which is in the loft that is open to the rest of the room, had a significant drip- which dripped nonstop- and made it a very unrestful night. I think this room has a lot of potential, but unfortunately those two maintenance items caused significant comfort issues. There shouldn't be any drippy faucets with such a high per night rate. The location is fantastic, we just wish those two maintenance issues would be addressed. I think it would have been a great stay otherwise. One more note- the restaurant in the ground floor closed permanently, and the space is currently under construction. They started work around 8am, so the noise shouldn't impact you unless you plan to sleep in late.

The room did not seem to match the pictures posted. Outdated with a musty smell, we were glad to be able to open the windows. The parking lot is across the street- not exactly on site. The surrounding area is nice and there were a few places to go to eat.

Perfect view and access to beach. Everything walking distance. Outside didn’t look super great but once we got inside our room was amazing! You definitely pay for the view and accessibility as there is no pool or breakfast with the steep price. Overall, was great stay and will be staying again for sure.
