We had a lovely stay here. The location is great, accessible by water taxi or on foot. We could easily walk to San Marco Square and Rialtto bridge. Some great restaurants right around this hotel. Breakfast wasn’t that great though unless you’re just getting pastries. The eggs and bacon weren’t appetizing. There also are no hooks in the bathroom and our shower didn’t have a door so there was nothing to hang towels or robes from. I feel like that’s an easy upgrade the hotel can make. They do have a boat service to Murano with a small tour but you need to make sure you’re up early for it. I had asked the front desk about it the night before and they said just whenever you come down, we’ll call and they’ll take you. We came down around 10:30 that morning and they said “oh they left already, left at 9 with another group. You’re too late, you should have come down earlier.” My issue was that no one told us what time to come down when I directly asked and no one called to our room to say hey it’s 9am today, do you want to go? Of course you can just walk to the water bus station but it was disappointing. The best part was by far the bartender during our stay. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and kind. He made our fantastic.

Aqua Palace hotel gives a great experience of the water ways in Venice. We travelled to the hotel from the train station on a water taxi. There is a nice deck at the hotel to board or to disembark with hotel staff available to help you with luggage. Their is a gondola service also available right in front of the lobby entrance. This hotel is around 5 mins walk from St Marks square. The staff is very friendly and prompt in service. A great highlight of the hotel is its bar with a skilled bartender. I enjoyed an awesome Bellini and a Manhattan, which were one of the best cocktails I enjoyed during my Italy trip.

The staff is amazingly hospitable. We walked in late from our delayed train, tired and cold. They were quick, kind, informative and made us feel important and welcomed. We slept late and were about an hour late for check out. We were only called once and they watched our bags while we excluded the city. The hotel and bar are lushly decorated and beautifully designed. We will definitely return!

Perfect location, easy check in/out. Had one of the best Bellini’s I’ve had in their cute bar. Splurge on the airline transfer. SO easy. Car ride and walked straight to your boat that drops you off at the front canal of your hotel. They will book a gondola for you from there too. Coldest AC I might have had at a hotel in Europe. Great breakfast too!

Luxury stay in the heart of Venice. Very professional excellent staff. Canal front room was superb with water views from all 3 windows. In a quiet section but just steps from main shopping and dining. Will definitely stay again when in Venice.

Hotel Aqua Place is a very nice hotel with a high service level from the staff. It is located very central 3 min from the Marcus place and 3 min from the Rialto bridge. But in a silent relaxed area. It’s possible to sail with water taxi directly from Marco Polo airport to water entrance at the hotel. Gondola 10 meters from the front door. I can only recommend Aqua Palace.

Perfect location and extremely friendly staff. The bar in the hotel is a very nice place to have a drink and unwind. Rooms were very clean. One of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in. Definitely would stay again.

Amazing and kind staff! Location is good, although it takes some navigating and the streets to access the hotel can be a little eerie late at night. Room was clean but bathroom could use a little updating and the showers and sink got backed up from time to time. Overall very good experience

Brilliant location in Venice, 5 minutes from Rialto and st marks sq, but just off the beaten track enough to be quiet. Exceptionally well kept hotel, rooms modern and spacious, always spotless. Staff always helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

It was a real treat to stay in such an elegant, timeless hotel. The staff was friendly and so helpful. The location was convenient and very walkable for the surrounding points of interest. Our room was cleaned daily, and we never even saw the housekeepers! The service at this hotel was excellent!

This property has been after taxi access and is in a great location between the Rialto bridge midge and St. Mark’s Square. Shopping is close by as well as many restaurants. The hotel offers breakfast for 15,00 Euro, well worth it is you are used to an American style first meal with eggs. The style of the hotel and decor were perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a junior suite and it was very large and it a view out to the canal. I would be happy to stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, junior suite with fab canal view worth it. Welcome staff at reception extremely helpful. Only two things detract, on Saturday morning from 6am a boat collecting rubbish from nearby moors outside the hotel and it’s quite noisy. Second hotel should consider offering choice of eggs (E.g. poached or omelette) without wanting to charge more, that’s pretty normal for a 4-star hotel. But still deserves 5 stars as it’s a beautiful hotel in a great location!

Hotel exceeded expectations. Nice reception area and breakfast area. The room #103, was very large, clean and well appointed with bed, couch, desk and chair. Good lighting and power access. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location.

Staff was ok , gave us the first room on the first floor facing the street . Very noisy. They control the air so I had to open the windows , which made mosquitos come inside . Could not sleep . All traffic was in front of my room . Terrible !

Great hotel. Central location. Nice ambiance. The service was excellent across the board. We especially enjoyed the hotel bar and Lello was awesome and gave us great restaurant and excursion recommendations.

Front desk people were great, but eating breakfast had a really bad experience. We paid at the front desk for breakfast and the staff who were serving for breakfast treated us like we had came in there and sat down and just started to eat. They really treated us like we had stolen the breakfast until it became and issued and very unpleasant. Did not apologize at all when they found out that we had paid for the breakfast try to make it seem like they was doing us a favor but saying I can pay for one breakfast and that’s it. They didn’t even try to find out if we had paid or not just assumed we didn’t and therefore treated us accordingly very nasty, but besides them everything else was ok.

Hotel exceeded expectations. Nice reception area and breakfast area. The room #103, was very large, clean and well appointed with bed, couch, desk and chair. Good lighting and power access. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location.

The doorman/bartender was really annoying. He kept trying to make a reservation at a restaurant. And when I asked about the gondola, he said it as 170 because it included a bottle of alcohol. I told him I didn’t want the alcohol. Then he was upset the whole entire time. We bought something at the bar, and after I finished, he said only cash!!! What???? At a hotel bar only cash??? He made me feel uncomfortable/

Fantastic location right on one of the smaller canals. Gondola service right out front and 5 min walk to the public transit (Vaporetto). Centrally located; 20-25 min walk to anywhere. Comfortable rooms, has an elevator and good air condiioning.

Brilliant location in Venice, 5 minutes from Rialto and st marks sq, but just off the beaten track enough to be quiet. Exceptionally well kept hotel, rooms modern and spacious, always spotless. Staff always helpful and friendly. Would stay there again.

Amazing hotel centrally located in the center of Venice. Great location that is centrally located but also on a quiet street. Hotel was incredibly quiet in the evening. Service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. Easy access to 3 main business streets with several great restaurants and cafe’s within 5 minutes.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is great, accessible by water taxi or on foot. We could easily walk to San Marco Square and Rialtto bridge. Some great restaurants right around this hotel. Breakfast wasn’t that great though unless you’re just getting pastries. The eggs and bacon weren’t appetizing. There also are no hooks in the bathroom and our shower didn’t have a door so there was nothing to hang towels or robes from. I feel like that’s an easy upgrade the hotel can make. They do have a boat service to Murano with a small tour but you need to make sure you’re up early for it. I had asked the front desk about it the night before and they said just whenever you come down, we’ll call and they’ll take you. We came down around 10:30 that morning and they said “oh they left already, left at 9 with another group. You’re too late, you should have come down earlier.” My issue was that no one told us what time to come down when I directly asked and no one called to our room to say hey it’s 9am today, do you want to go? Of course you can just walk to the water bus station but it was disappointing. The best part was by far the bartender during our stay. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and kind. He made our fantastic.

Car ride and walked straight to your boat that drops you off at the front canal of your hotel. They will book a gondola for you from there too. Coldest AC I might have had at a hotel in Europe. Aqua Palace hotel gives a great experience of the water ways in Venice. We travelled to the hotel from the train station on a water taxi. There is a nice deck at the hotel to board or to disembark with hotel staff available to help you with luggage. Their is a gondola service also available right in front of the lobby entrance. This hotel is around 5 mins walk from St Marks square. The staff is very friendly and prompt in service. A great highlight of the hotel is its bar with a skilled bartender. I enjoyed an awesome Bellini and a Manhattan, which were one of the best cocktails I enjoyed during my Italy trip.

Front desk people were great, but eating breakfast had a really bad experience. We paid at the front desk for breakfast and the staff who were serving for breakfast treated us like we had came in there and sat down and just started to eat. They really treated us like we had stolen the breakfast until it became and issued and very unpleasant. Did not apologize at all when they found out that we had paid for the breakfast try to make it seem like they was doing us a favor but saying I can pay for one breakfast and that’s it. They didn’t even try to find out if we had paid or not just assumed we didn’t and therefore treated us accordingly very nasty, but besides them everything else was ok.

This was a beautiful place. Starting from arranging a private water taxi and an escort to the hotel’s private dock, to the bellboy carting our bags and the amazing room. Huge for a family. Beautiful and luxurious towels and bathroom amenities. This place was wonderful for our family. Breakfast was perfect, great cappuccinos and mimosas. Over all I’d return every single trip! Located so close to st. Marks and all over Venice was entirely accessible! Thank you aqua palace.

This was a beautiful hotel, with an even better location and loved the fact that we could arrive there with a water taxi that left us at the hotel dock. Can’t get better than that! It’s walkable to all the main Venice attractions. The breakfast was delicious as well.

My family had the greatest stay ever at Aqua Palace. Hotel staff (specially Giancarlo and Barbara) were super friendly and unbelievably helpful! We had a spacious Junior Suite which was automatically upgraded to a magnificent canal view. We fell in love with the furniture in our room as well as the common areas! Very satisfied with the breakfast as well. Most importantly, the hotel is centrally located in Venice within walking distance to San Marco Square and Rialto Bridge. Get yourself a private watertaxi which brings you from the airport to the doorstep of the hotel. I would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to all.
