Brillasol Airport Hotel

This is a great airport hotel. Great value and nice staff. The only issue was that there were a lot of bugs in the room that we had to kill when first got there.

Basic clean , helpful staff

The entire property is neglected. The pics online are obviously from many years ago. The paint is peeling off everything including the pool. There were weeds and dying foliage around the whole property and the bathrooms, specifically the shower was dirty, moldy and old.

I rarely leave reviews even when an experience is subpar, but felt the need to review Hotel Brillasol specifically because of the receptionist who was present when I arrived. I was taken aback by how rude he was. Right off the bat he seemed frustrated when I addressed him in Spanish (I’m not fluent, but certainly proficient and able to communicate). He spoke back to me in English, which was completely fine, except for the fact that he clearly didn’t understand my English very well. I arrived late (just after 11p), and requested an early shuttle at 4 or 415am because my tickets for my AM flight requested I arrive at 415. He told me “one hour is better”. I told him I would like to be there at the time my ticket recommended—415–and he seemed to agree/understand. There were essentially no lights outside of reception, and he gave me incorrect instructions about where my room was before handing me the key and telling me to go. It took me several minutes to actually locate the room, and I had difficulty with the key once I did. I tried turning it both directions, and it would simply turn three times both ways without unlocking. I wasn’t given instructions about the lock. When I went back for help, he looked at me like I was stupid, threw his hands up and said “¡Ay, Dios!”. He angrily followed me to my room and unlocked the door.

Extremely clean. Great staff. Lovely food. Beautiful safe surroundings.
