Crystal Waters

My family and I booked Crystal Waters for a 10 night stay and we were very much looking forward to it! The photos and reviews looked promising, unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. We found that for the price that was being charged per night (in the $600/night range), the amenities were seriously lacking and the staff, albeit very friendly, were not attentive. The amenities in our rooms were inexistent - we were only provided with 1 towel per person, a broken kettle, no coffee machine and they do not replenish water upon cleaning of the rooms. The air conditioning worked great, however be warned that it does shut off anytime you open a door or window to the room. The staff would also leave the balcony doors open after servicing the room, so we would come back to an extremely hot room (it was over 45 degrees during our stay). The staff was very nice, however not attentive to guest needs. The location is great! Very close to shops, grocery stores, good restaurants (we would highly recommend Yianni’s) and only a 15 minute drive into Lefkada town. The parking was also very convenient, which was great! We never had an issue with our car. The grounds are also beautiful and well maintained, as well as the pool area was clean and inviting. (Just a small note, if you cannot do stairs, this might not be the right hotel for you) Overall, our stay was very nice and we enjoyed our time in Lefkada, however we found that it was not worth the price per night.

An awesome place to stay, the staff were extremely helpful and the resort pools and dining options are amazing.

Unbelievable service, awesome staff, very polite with. a big smile all the time!!! The room was really very nice and great job from the cleaners as well. The swimming pool was very clean and the service at bar perfect. I hardly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Plenty of choice for the pool areas to relax and it was peaceful and quiet. Our room had a lovely view across the waters and was comfortable, cool and spacious. The food was excellent and a special mention must be made for all the restaurant team who were unfailingly professional but also super friendly, kind and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Thank you - we had a great time and can’t wait to return!

Beautifully decorated hotel, rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. Pool areas are lovely with comfortable sun beds. Would definitely consider upgrading to pool room as they looked fab. Breakfast was good. Staff at pool bar and Emerald restaurant very helpful. Staff at reception were not as attentive, knowledgeable or helpful as would have been expected for a 4 star hotel. Manager was rude and constantly spoke over me during an interaction. Food and drinks very overpriced. Shower doors fitted on wrong side of door so bathroom flooded every time it was used. Nikiana itself not the most attractive village, limited choice of restaurants and nowhere to walk or sit in the evening. However, the NV beach bar close by was nice and it is a good base for exploring the area.

Lovely place, obviously quite new, pool and rooms were lovely and the staff very helpful.

Die Anlage selbst ist wirklich gut gepflegt und in den Hügel gebaut. Weshalb ich NICHT mit Familie wieder kommen werde (war nur ein overnight Zwischenhalt): - leider "Mallorca-Style" Gäste: Liegenreservierer und bis auf ein Schild keine Gegenmaßnahmen. Die anderen Kommentare dazu stimmen leider. - Pools öffnen zu spät (10:00) und schließen viel zu früh (19:00) - für Frühschwimmer und Spätgenießer ungeeignet. Jedoch der Architektur/angrenzenden Restaurants geschuldet.

Die Insel Lefkada ist sehr schön, der Ort Nikiana besticht durch seine vielen Cafés und Restaurants. Das Hotel ist eher mittelmäßig. Selbstverständlich wussten wir vorher, dass es nur 4 Sterne hat, aber wir haben etwas mehr erwartet: begonnen beim Personal an der Rezeption (leider sehr arrogant wirkend und nicht sonderlich hilfsbereit), dem Service vor Ort und bei der Sauberkeit der Zimmer. Wir buchten ein Zimmer mit privat Pool, dieser wurde nur selten gereinigt, an der weißen Wand bildete sich durch Sonnencreme und Chlor immer mehr Schmutz, die Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse waren mäßig, das Bett war recht gemütlich, leider fehlt es an einer richtigen Decke (es ist nur ein Bettlaken vorhanden). Wir wussten vorher, dass die Zimmer sehr klein sind, doch haben sie unsere Erwartungen nochmals übertroffen. Das Frühstück war schmackhaft und ausreichend von der Auswahl, obwohl die Qualität des Kaffees extrem schlecht war. Die Kellner waren ziemlich überfordert und nicht gut angelernt, sodass auch hier die Höflichkeit vollkommen verloren ging. Ein großer Kritikpunkt ist das gym und der Spa- Bereich: Das gym ist eigentlich sehr gut ausgestattet, groß und hat einen fabelhaften Blick auf das Meer. Die Umgebung ist jedoch schrecklich schmutzig, überall Unkraut. Eigentlich hatte man ständig das Gefühl, man fällt dem ganzen Personal eher zu Last als dass man herzlich empfangen wird. Lefkada - wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder, aber in dieses Hotel leider nicht.

We had a lovely time. The staff was super friendly and the property was clean and well maintained. Loved the all the amenities but the hotel still had a nice boutique feeling. Would definitely recommend!

Frühstücksmenü ist in Ordnung. Auf Dauer ist es etwas einseitig, aber frisch und qualitativ in Ordnung. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, Ausstattung gut. Lediglich das Badezimmer roch etwas nach Abfluss, wenn man die Tür zugemacht hat, war es aber in Ordnung.

Lots of charm, the design in the rooms is modern, the breakfast is excellent and very varied. The staff is very friendly and do everything to make you happy. It is important!! The place is not accessible to people with disabilities, there are a lot of stairs inside the room as well.

Lovely hotel with awesome staff who cannot do enough for you, beautiful rooms, and elevated dining in 2 stunning restaurants A gem

On arrival check in by staff was ok , we were welcomed well ,two staff behind the desk . One was very friendly the other not so much . We had booked a partial sea view room , the room had the view but was way too far from amenities and had a high set of stairs to climb. We did make a comment about the location of the room to staff and with a small price difference was offered a much more appropriate option which made my stay there are comfortable and fabulous one .Will definitely return . Also the dining staff run by Chris and his wonderful team were more than willing to help and serve us with a smile thank you

Das Zimmer das wir hatten war sehr klein sicher keine 30m2 wie beschrieben und es war sehr laut jeden Tag um 07:00 ging es los mit der Mühlabfuhr

overall we enjoyed our stay at crystal waters - the location was really good and the amenities provided were perfect. our only comment is that the wifi wasn’t working at nights which made it quite frustrating.

Beautiful place, very friendly staff, I loved everything about other than the steps climbing to the actual room. The breakfast was excellent and the grounds are beautiful

Spent 5 nights at this hotel which was awsome but what really made the trip memorable was the unbelievable staff. Best in Greece by far. Irini the front office manager treated us as if we were her family. She was unbelievable and went above and beyond in every aspect. Always smililing and willing to make our stay memorable which it was. Ali was also unbelievable and always went out of his way to come ask us if we needed anything. Older bfast staff were sweet and by the 3rd day new exactly what we wanted without us asking. I cant say enough good things about the staff. Thank you Irini for making our trip pleasurable and comfortable. We will definitely sing your praises and be back.

The hotel was amazing, staff was exceptional. They were very attentive and went over and above to make our stay even better than we could imagine. A special shout out to Ioanna and Christos who greeted us everyday with smiles and kind words. A great place to relax and take in the Greek filoxenia and hospitality with amazing beaches close by. From your Greek Canadian friends!! Thank you.

Grundet udfordringer på andet hotel valgte vi at booke Crystal Waters igen - to gange under vores ferie. Skønt sted og en ualmindelig god stemning blandt alle ansatte alle virkede glade og serviceminded fra hjertet. Alt var lækkert. Området udenfor hotellet byder på flere gode spisesteder og 8 min gang til havet.

Mooi hotel, nieuw, netjes, op 5 min loopafstand van leuk strandje, bakker, supermarkt en restaurantjes. Mooie omgeving!

Very nicely decorated, newer property. It's not that close to anything, but luckily they do have a shuttle service you can reserve for a reasonable fee. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pools are also quite nice. There's not a ton of stuff nearby to walk to though. The included Breakfast buffet was a highlight. Tons of food to choose from. Dinner was ok. Plating at atmosphere was fancy, but the taste ranged from meh to solid. Overall I would still stay again, purely for nice accomodation near-ish Lefkas.

Supert opphold. Hadde leilighet mot pool første 3 dager og det var supert. Veldig flott! Her ligger du ved pool, stranden i gå avstand er dårlig så bil er et must. Mange fine steder og strender på Lefkas. Ha bil !

Crystal Waters is a beautiful hotel. Staff was very friendly and the rooms are lovely. The only complaint is the taxi service . Each time you call for a taxi the charge is 17euro regardless of how far you are going within the area. I found it cheaper to book a cab separately. Also the town is a bit far away so unless you have a car or are willing to take the bus or cab there is not much nearby.

The property itself is really good and the staff is exceptional but the properties location is less than desired. In the description and pictures of the property make it appear that it’s coastal. It is not. I would not return for the simple fact that I felt misled

A wonderful complex with lots of variety and options. The staff was super friendly and extremely concerned so that you could feel at ease. Location is also super! At 7 min from Nydri and 15 min from Lefkada town. The beautiful beaches are max 45 min away. Simply a super hotel!!! Lovely stay...

From the moment we arrived to the when we left two weeks later, Crystal Waters was an oasis of calm and relaxation. The layout of the hotel, spread around 3 super pool areas was excellent and gave it much more of a resort feel. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent, both for the wide range of breakfast options and the excellent dinner choices. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and happy to indulge my attempts at the Greek language. If the opportunity arises, we will most definitely return to Crystal Waters.

The staff was great the breakfast was perfect. Only bad experience was the fine dinning restaurant was a bit of a tourist trap. I didn’t mind the high prices of the entrées and appetizers especially since everything was tasty but they charged me 14 euro for 4 slices of bread and 5 euro for 1 bottle of water was a bit much. I am in the restaurant business so I understand that everything costs money and should be paid for but it should be within reason. It was 22 euros for tun tartar which I considered fair
