Ideally located very close to the river, to Jacks Bar, Icon Siam Shopping Mall, river boat and city rail transport links. Ban Rak food market is just around the corner behind the Shangri La hotel with an excellent range of local food. Expect to eat for less than £5 for two people. The Bossotel is an ideal hotel for a few days stay after arriving in BKK or before departure. Highly recommended.

The room was clean. Staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was convenient. The gym is not air-conditioned and is only available 8 am-8 pm. Because of the heat I had hoped to use it earlier before it got too hot but was unable to (the power doesn't go on to the equipment during non-open hours).

Basic 3 star hotel with friendly staff and a clean simple room. If you’re wanting a luxury Bangkok experience, this is not it. If you want to spend your money on activities rather than accommodation, then this is fine. We chose this because it was walkable to two areas we wanted to go.
