Clean room tons of parking pool great

This is an older property. It has easy access to the highway, and is across the street from a grocery store. It was a good size room. There is no dead bolt on the door, but did have a safety chain. Good size bar fridge (freezer large enough for the ice packs), microwave and coffee pot. Towel bar for sink was starting to fall off the wall. The pillows were pretty flat. The shower temperature was hard to regulate. But overall, decent hotel for the price. We didn't use the pool, but it looked well maintained. And parking was easy.

We needed a place that had a gas grill to cook our freshly caught fish on. This hotel had those accommodations as well as a nice, clean, relaxing pool.

The Parking was very safe and well lighted. Plenty of parking spaces.

It was good for the price. Some residual odors which may be from a previous smoking guest, as they do have ash trays right outside your door. I do wish the doors to the room had more secure locks for safety. The kitchen area was more than expected with ample storage which we did not need. It had a sink, coffee pot, and microwave. The mini fridge did have an actual freezer section which is great when you need to keep your ice packs frozen! My favorite part was the pool area. It was secluded, tranquil and not busy at all! Overall, if you are looking for a cheaper option close to the beach, this is the spot for you.

This is a big motel, not a hotel as advertised. Everyone passing to his room passes your window, which must be covered if you want to have some privacy. When we arrived, The A/C signaled that the filter needs cleaning, I did it myself, it was terribly dirty. The rooms have simple locks, not dead-bolt locks as it was required for listing the property in AAA books.

The inn is very clean and conveniently located. The pool is a wonderful place to cool off. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.

Nice enough little place. Good location, 5 minute drive to Wells Beach. A bit dated & vanity light didn’t work, but fairly comfortable. Clean room and pool.

The room was spotless! It was very neat & clean. The room is dated but has everything a hotel room needs, including a toaster! The pool area was clean and there was a grill that families could use. We were very impressed!

I had to clean the kitchenette, the fridge, the counters and the table which were all dirty.

Shower curtain needs changing mold on it, floor was pretty dirty , but close to everything and good price!

Room was very clean & had everything we need (comfy bed, kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, table & chairs). Water was nice & hot & refrigerator kept everything nice & cold. Owner was very nice & quick to accommodate. This hotel isn’t “fancy” but it was perfect for us as a quiet place to sleep, shower & have breakfast. Thank you to the owners!

Nice place with a few good amenities. They need to pay attention to there cleaning. Walls in bathroom need to be scrubbed, floors should be swept and mopped often and ceiling needs to wiped. Saw a spider go from one end of the room to another hanging from its web. We only stayed one night on our way to airport, so it served it purpose for us.

Room 107 was filthy, musty and old. The bed sags so badly that a hammock would be more comfortable. Mystery drips on the blinds, splatters on the doors and trim, mildew and mold around the AC, and sticky floors. The musty air reeked of stale smoke, which drifted in from ashtrays placed right outside the only window. No drapes, only flimsy vertical blinds, meant zero privacy, and the paper-thin walls and ceiling made it impossible to sleep through the stomping upstairs. Security? Just a flimsy chain—no deadbolt. Absolutely awful. We paid handsomely for 2 nights but left at sunrise after just one miserable night.

Great stay! The hotel was super clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept on. Even though it's right on the main road it's quiet and peaceful. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Two cons: early check out time (10am) and smoking allowed in front of rooms and in pool area which is annoying. Overall we would probably stay again.

Rooms were outdated and cheap. Layer of dust on lamp fixtures, tears in lampshades. Felt like I could only sleep under bedsheet (knowing that it was cleaned for our stay). Roomed smelled. People talking outside our room at 4 am. Would not stay here again.

Room seemed clean but needed airing. Refrigerator was NOT clean. I read mixed reviews on this place and decided to try-ok for a low end place.

Tried to check in, couldn’t find anyone, went back outside and someone came down from another building asking if he could help. We told him we were trying to check in. He asked if I rang the bell so I said, “Yes, twice”. He turned and walked into the office so we followed. He asked again if he could help so I said, “Like I said, we’re trying to check in. Then he got annoyed and shouted “Well what’s your name?” Then proceeded to tell me we’re already paid which confused me, since “half was due at property”. Apparently they charged my account before we showed up which is ok, had I known we could’ve saved ourselves that issue. Then the room, minor issues like enough coffee to make four cups, cream and sugar to make one. The toilet paper was hung with the spring that’s inside the spring loaded holder so, touched it and it fell off the wall. Huge issue was, after walking on the floor in the morning, I stepped in water that wife splashed from the shower. I then stepped on the towel she placed in front of the shower and left a big dirt footprint. Stepped in the shower and saw dirt run from my feet. When I got out I took the wet towel and rubbed it on the floor and turned a white towel brown with dirt. No clue when the floor was washed last. We love the area, come up two to three times a year but, that’s a deal breaker for us, will not be back to this hotel!!!

Sounds like something is in the walls and ceiling. Everything was fine and perfect until we turned the lights out and we were trying to fall asleep. It was just after midnight. Sounds like a mouse or a small possum. The room itself was very clean for a ground floor room. The pictures on the web are misleading. Those are for the front house. The motel rooms in the back are not as nicely decorated, but they are clean. The doors need a dead bolt lock, they have a security chain but that is all. There was a microwave, mini fridge, and toaster. Very few outlets to charge your devices though.

On a busy road, the room was quiet with parking very close. The room was spacious and clean, had a kitchenette and eating space and a very user-friendly TV. The bathroom ceiling fan was noisy.

It was clean but bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable

The hotel was easy to find. We arrived in the pouring rain. The owner gave us a ground floor room with close parking. He even brought us some ice since it was early in the season and the machine wasn’t running yet. The room was decorated beautifully with a nautical theme. There was a kitchenette with a toaster, coffee pot, microwave, and a refrigerator with a separate freezer. The king bed was super comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower head and plenty of hot water.

Very little insulation between walls. Not much sleep due to noisy neighboring room. Rooms a little dated but relatively clean.

Relatively cheap for the area. Clean enough, a little dated and could do with a wipe over of furniture. Lacking in any real charm. A bit of effort to connect it to its coastal surroundings could really elevate the property and add value. The walls are fairly thin and you can hear couples making love in full surround sound and the showers in surrounding rooms are very loud. It’s a shame because the motel is sheltered from the noise of route 1. Also, the blinds do not keep out the light.

Things were in our room from last people who stayed there. Could not find a way to check in when we got there. No one was around.

Footbridge North is comfortable, clean and relaxing. We arrived late after working all day and they had left the key for us so we could check in quickly and easily. Our new favorite place to stay in Wells.

Amazing Customer Service, Super friendly and helpful.

Booked The Room on September 9th. Arrived on October 28th at 5:30 p.m. to find the place locked up tight. No one answered the phone. Empty parking lot. Why would they take a reservation if they were closing for the season. Lucky I had booked through expedia. After 35 minutes they booked me another room at a nicer hotel. Expedia did pay the difference in cost for the new hotel

Very nice room and staff was quick to help with an issue I was having.

Got there and no one was there. I had to press a bell and waited 15 minutes for someone to come. I also tried to contact the property several times with questions only to get an answering machine with a full mailbox. The person who checked me in was quite rude as well. The room wasn't bad but the bed was uncomfortable and I had a half roll of toilet paper with no extra supplies. Also, fair warning to anyone traveling alone, there was quite a shady crowd hanging around and they were up most of the night. I woke me several times. As a single woman I didn't feel safe. I left 2 hours before check out. I have stayed at several properties for around the same price with a much better experience. Will never return.

good price, close to hwy and other facilities. surprisingly secluded, for so close to the road. I would stay there again. since I was only staying the one night, and arrived later, left earlyish, I was never aware there was a pool (not that I would have used it)

The property was in the center of town and assessable to all of the areas features, We enjoyed the pool and especially enjoyed the small pigeon roost in the far back of the property . The hosts were courteous and very helpful. Its great to see a family run property where people care

Thin walls not sound proof. Shabby building. Overpriced especially since not providing breakfast.
