This was our second stop here . The rooms and the hotel are old and dated but it is clean . The location feels very safe and is convenient to 95 . There is a Huddle House across the street . It’s older but still ok for a cheap overnight stay traveling on 95 . Pet friendly!

This is nice place to drop in on your way to your final destination. I like the staff and small business feel to the place. The rooms solid and your parking spaces are assigned right in front of your room one car per guest. There is additional parking off to the side within view of all rooms. There is large vehicle parking along the front and in back if your towing car trailer. very clean place and when I have my dog he is welcome. My girl and I often meet half way between her job and mine to spend the weekend together. Which is comfortable place close to serval places restaurants with 10 minutes or less with traffic from the I-95.

Check i was quick and smooth. When we arrived to tue room the door was unlocked. The bed was made but the top comforter was obviously not clean due to the fact it was gritty. The shower curtin was not attached to the wall. No matter what faucet you were turning on you were practically pulling the plumming out of the wall.

The place needs a MAJOR,MAJOR CLEANING smells like rodents,roaches or something the A c unit was filthy overall disgusting we were traveling driving from florida,stopped for some sleep but after about 3 hours we left we could not sleep the smell is overwhelming

It was really not a pleasant stay. We didn’t even stay for an hour and we just checked out coz the place smells and dirty. When i wiped the surfaces, it was brown and the tv remote was black. I wiped them twice and it still has dirt.

The staff was very nice. The room was dirty, the furniture old, a drawer missing out of the dresser. The door between the rooms had a broken lock. A woman approached me when I was outside the room and asked for a cigarette if I had anything to drink and money. I felt very unsafe.

It worked fine but I could get a consistent temp so I'd wake up either too hot or too cold at times. To be fair, the weather was a bit uncooperative also, and that, I am sure, contributed. Overall, if all you need is a quick overnight stay this is a great place. Easy in, easy out convenience store across the street, and a clean comfortable room. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was for such a low cost. Can't ask for much more than that.

For a low budget off the highway hotel this was clean, and a great location. However, the electrical system made a buzzing sound every few minutes all night long making sleep impossible. A hole in the bathtub was patched over with a plastic mat. Plenty of deferred maintenance. Also, no fresh coffee was available anywhere.

When I got there to check in the lady said I had to pay in cash, and then said their machine was down. I explained that I only had tap to pay and that I had just drove 17 hours. I asked why didn’t it say I had to pay in cash when I booked the room? Finally the lady let me into the lobby and amazingly the machine started working.

Good room for an affordable price. Excellent customer service that listened to and corrected my issues in a timely and efficient manner. Specifically they helped correct a mis-booked travel date. Stayed 2 nights and will stay again next time i need a room in that area.

The property is very old and definitely needs updating. I had to unplug the microwave to plug in my phone charger. Duct tape on bottom of door to unit which was falling off. I had to push the door and lock it or it would swing open. Drapes dry rotting and furniture needs replacing. There are no restaurants close (unless you go to a truck stop across the road.)

This property takes the concept of low-budget to a whole new level, and my standards aren't very high. It looked nice from the outside, but inside was pretty grungy...not dirty, just grungy. There was such an unpleasant odor in the room when I entered, (which I think was bleach) I actually thought of leaving. Also, it was skimpy with toiletries. Positives include not only a low price, but the staff was very nice and helpful, the TV and wifi worked, I felt safe, there was a cheap gas station right across the street and it was the easiest on/off the highway I ever encountered. Yes, I would go there again.
This property takes the concept of low-budget to a whole new level, and my standards aren't very high. It looked nice from the outside, but inside was pretty grungy...not dirty, just grungy. There was such an unpleasant odor in the room when I entered, (which I think was bleach) I actually thought of leaving. Also, it was skimpy with toiletries. Positives include not only a low price, but the staff was very nice and helpful, the TV and wifi worked, I felt safe, there was a cheap gas station right across the street and it was the easiest on/off the highway I ever encountered. Yes, I would go there again.

The best place to stay for us when we are in town Emporia, va. The on and off I-95 is excellent north or south bounded. The Truck stop is across the street within 2 minutes walking distance with a Huddle House and pizza restaurant. I stay here very often when traveling south. The hotel is within 10 minutes of Cracker Barrel one exit up or 301 north when the instate is backed up along with several often dinning establishments.

A hole in the bathtub was patched over with a plastic mat. Plenty of deferred maintenance. Also, no fresh coffee was available anywhere.

Not bad for an easy sleep. There’s nothing in the area nobody Ubers or DoorDash is to the hotel but if you need a quick night sleep, it’s not bad for the price.

The property is very old and definitely needs updating. I had to unplug the microwave to plug in my phone charger. Duct tape on bottom of door to unit which was falling off. I had to push the door and lock it or it would swing open. Drapes dry rotting and furniture needs replacing. There are no restaurants close (unless you go to a truck stop across the road.)

This was our second stop here . The rooms and the hotel are old and dated but it is clean . The location feels very safe and is convenient to 95 . There is a Huddle House across the street . It’s older but still ok for a cheap overnight stay traveling on 95 . Pet friendly!

This is nice place to drop in on your way to your final destination. I like the staff and small business feel to the place. The rooms solid and your parking spaces are assigned right in front of your room one car per guest. There is additional parking off to the side within view of all rooms. There is large vehicle parking along the front and in back if your towing car trailer. very clean place and when I have my dog he is welcome. My girl and I often meet half way between her job and mine to spend the weekend together. Which is comfortable place close to serval places restaurants with 10 minutes or less with traffic from the I-95.

The place was horribly rundown and not very clean. I should have left, but after traveling all day, I was too exhausted. There was paint, peeling everywhere. The room had a disconnected smoke detector. The ceiling in the shower was so bubbled and cracked, I was afraid it would come down on my head. The towels and linens appeared clean, but were stained. I have to say, the place really needs some serious attention.
