Black Eagle Hotel & Spa

Booked with the facility on the 25th of December - my booking was processed around 21:00 & money was immediately deducted from my account. Once we got to the facilities, we were told they don’t take bookings after 18:00 - they couldn’t provide an explanation as to why the booking option was still available and why money was still deducted from my account. I requested a refund on the 26th, and was assisted (the person assisting me was quite friendly and helpful) however it is the 17th of January and I have not yet received my refund. I have been getting the run around, but no straight forward answer. Leaving this review is my last resort as I am not sure what the hold up could be.

The Black Eagle Hotel and Spa is a wonderful place to go when you just want to completely zone out. I spent a couple of nights here and found the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. There were plenty of opportunities to lounge by the pool, enjoy the beautiful gardens, and truly not feel the need to go anywhere at all. The on-site restaurant was a great convenience, and the food was excellent.

I spent just one evening at the Black Eagle Spa and Hotel, and I honestly couldn’t fault it in any way. The room was absolutely superb and impeccably clean. The bar facilities were outstanding, and the restaurant and the Library Room was exceptional. Every member of staff contributed effortlessly to making the stay truly memorable, with no issues whatsoever. I absolutely love this place.

Good stay. Clean and comfortable. Food good. Staff friendly and courteous. No issues. Will be back.
