excellent allround, the receptionist woman,excellent ! very friendly, and helpfull, I would highly recomend this hotel to anyone especialy the older visitors, nice little swimming pool for the kids too enjoy. friendly staff also. thank you to the very lovely woman at the counter receptionist,manager? from NEVILLE.W.

The motel was in a great position close to shops, water and dining. The room itself was spacious as was the balcony. We noticed it was tired in a lot of respects and could do with some updates. The spa was stained and the coating was flaking away. The switches for the lighting in the bedroom were confusing. We noticed our feet were black after walking barefoot in the unit. There was water all over the balcony due to the neighbouring A/C. The balcony was covered in cobwebs. The bed was very comfortable. The supplied toiletries were basic but appreciated.

The rooms are great and good comfortable bed. However, pool closed at 6pm…they state on two huge signs that they have breakfast for you but they do not! And the office was closed at 6pm.. we arrived just after 6 and it was very confusing and frustrating getting our key to check in… also, you had to keep key in slot in room to have lights… if you want choices on your tv… they don’t have many here…very disappointed we could not use pool or have breakfast when they clearly state they have it.

Wonderful room. I find many motel beds rather uncomfortable but this bed was exactly the right level of comfort and support. Shower was nice and warm too. Would stay here again. Only minor issue i had was the lack of street lighting around the hotel (i got in late after it was already dark and motel parking bay was full) but thats a local council matter, not the motels.

Quite dated, no toaster, down pipe leaded badly & like a waterfall pouring onto the concrete balcony & no where for the water to go. Shower over a corner spa which was quote old & deep to get into. Not impressed.

Rooms have double bed that is old school so when you sit up in bed it runs away on wheels. Was excited that wine glasses in fridge cold ready for wine but they were all dirty. Outside lights shine in bedroom all night. No tv in main bedroom. Shower has no pressure but was hot. New flooring installed and looks amazing

There was limited airflow especially to the room at the rear. We tried turning on the airconditioner but it was loud and not working properly. We decided to leave the screen door open and make do. The place was very clean The best part of our stay was the lovely views from our balcony and the lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming.

Staff were lovely. Check in was much later than 2pm. Given the key to our room only to find it was still being cleaned. Once we were finally in the room the AC wasn't working effectively. The buttons on the AC controller weren't working. Reception came and 'fixed it' leaving an extra key so it continuously run. Maintanence

Have stayed there before and it was better than this time. Patrons above were very noisy even at 2 and 3am. Microwave was too high to reach, therefore unusable. no soap holder in the shower. no usuable storage for breakfast cereals etc, Won't stay there again

WiFi very poor in the room so had to sit outside the door to access a signal but even then crashed a few times. No toaster but plenty of coffee, tea and sugar (only 6 small pots of milk). Bedside light only on one side of the queen bed. Shower functional but not much pressure. Curtains barely meet so light woke us up early. Motel is a little way up from the harbour itself but easily walkable

Reception was closed before time 6:30. It was inconvenient to get someone to answer our phone call. We could only leave a message. Eventually a lady came out of the next door room and she helped us.

We only stayed one night at the motel, we had a ground floor room, which was clean and comfortable. The motel’s just off the Main Street and right near the harbour and fisherman’s wharf, a great location. There were major works going on, at check in time, due to a plumbing issue and we couldn’t actually drive into the property, however, staff members were extremely helpful and friendly and rang when we could safely access the room and be assured of water! We were impressed with their level of service.

Good points - Location is great. Nice view from the balcony. Spacious. Bad - Water pressure non existent so couldn't even wash my hair and the couch was unusable, even with extra pillows underneath the cushions. TV remote was filthy. Fridge has notice to leave on "3" but previous occupants had changed it so our milk, cream etc froze and had to be thrown out. Surely cleaners can check this or get new fridge. Air con noisy. Got woken early by water pipes from adjoining room. Also, the website still says breakfast is provided but it isn't. Single bed in living area is way too high and has no bedside table or reading light. Property needs a LOT of work.
