Hotel is good. It is located very close to St. Demetrios's Cathedral and is not too far from the waterfront. However, if you arrive by train and have luggage, hire a taxi to get to the hotel, since traveling by two buses (there is a transfer) will take you over an hour. Hotel does not offer breakfast, but coffee is available in the morning.

This small hotel offers reasonable rates, and everything was just right. The staff were friendly, the location was excellent, and coffee, tea, and cookies were available 24 hours a day. My room was old but was renovated, had everything I needed, was kept clean, and I was able to stay comfortably. Having stayed in various (non-luxury) hotels around the world, I believe this offered the best value for money.

Allerdings ist es absolut nicht für körperlich beeinträchtigte Personen geeignet: Allein schon um die Rezeption von der Straße aus zu erreichen, muss man drei hohe Stufen bewältigen. Ein verschachtelter aus zwei Häusern zusammengefügter Altbau mit steilen Wendeltreppen und ein paar Stolperschwellen; ins 2. OG. ist es weit! Es gibt sogar noch Zimmer im 3.OG. Für die straßenseitigen Zimmer sind trotz Schallschutz-Fenstern bzw. -Balkontüren Ohrenstöpsel dringend empfehlenswert. We had a wonderful stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Coffee room with coffee, tea, cookies available around the clock; staff will make Greek coffee if you prefer. The location is great, 1/2 block from St. Demetrios church, and right by the Roman Forum, with all of downtown in walking distance, including the sights and the restaurant areas (and shopping, although that’s not our thing). Rooms were fine, on the small side but since we were out seeing the city, and the hotel has comfortable common areas, this wasn’t an issue. I travel often to Thessaloniki and will definitely stay here again.

You are literally in 5 min walk from Aristotle square. There is a relaxed cafe across the road. You can choose to walk 5-10 min in random directions and keep finding pastry and coffee shops, local goods, pharmacies, more and more dining options. Oh, how nice all people arund are! I don't think the property has an elevator, and the stairs are steep, also flooring in my room was questionable, but still safe. There is a fridge in the room, but coffee and tea available complementary downstairs 24 hrs a day. The electricity in your room only runs if your key card is in cardholder, so i am not sure about that fridge reliability after all. Bedding was good and mattress firm, which my tired back loved very much. I was not looking for luxury and maids running my bath, I aimed for convenience, friendliness and relaxation which is exactly what I had every second of my stay.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura con un'altra coppia di amici. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Posizione centrale, personale disponibile e cortese. Colazione molto basica che andrebbe migliorata però, considerato il prezzo praticato, è accettabile. Camera e bagno puliti. Grazie per l'accoglienza.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of Thessaloniki, all monuments, museums and archaeology sightings are within walking distance. The hotel is also close to lots of bars that are open till late which makes it convenient to have a couple more drinks before heading back to the hotel to sleep. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The room was comfortable fresh towels and bedding changed everyday.

This place is walking distance to most monuments, to the promenade and to shops and restaurants. Close to bus as well. Taxi service is reasonable if needed. The room is small and the bathroom is super tiny but manageable. Front desk guys are very kind and helpful. I recommend.

This hotel is blessed with an incredible location, across the streets from several cafes and Roman ruins. The hotel is certainly not a luxury establishment but is very reasonably priced and definitely comfortable enough. The air conditioning worked very well in our room as well which was definitely a need. The staff are very friendly and approachable as well!

overall the location is the best as its very centrally located, hotel is closest to the Roman forum and Church of St. Demetrius. All the staff were very helpful and room were clean and a/c was working well.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Zum Bad benötigt man jedoch ca 30cm Stufe um dort rein und raus zu kommen. Das Gebäude ist sehr hellhörig weswegen es die ganze Nacht über laut war und es uns vom Schlaf abgehalten hat. Rezeption war gut.

The hotelier I interacted with was fantastic: he knew what I needed before I needed it and provided great recommendations for places to dine and what to see. For the price especially in summer, this is a great destination!

I had a horrible experience staying at this hotel. On my first night, I went to the front desk for help with the air conditioner. The room was very hot at 26 degrees Celsius, and I could not seem to get the AC to work using the remote. The receptionist (ALEKOS) told me to use the remote control for the AC. After telling him I wasn't sure how it operated since the room remained hot after several minutes of fiddling with the AC, he became visibly angry (I guess he did not want to walk up the stairs to my room to show me). After following me to the room, he pulled the curtains to reveal there was a wall heater that was on and barked at me that I had turned on the heater. Why would I turn on a heater in April when I prefer a cold room? And the wall heater wasn't easily visible from behind the curtains. Also, I wasn't expecting that the hotel would have the heater turned on at this time of the year, so I did not look for one. This man was fuming for some reason, so I said nothing. Safety first! After turning on the AC, he left without a word. I was left wondering why a mundane inquiry about a working AC elicited such rudeness. Weird!

Very convenient and the staff is really friendly and helpful. At least on the first floor it could be quite loud at night (on some days, on others it was fine). There is free water, tea and coffee which is really nice. And all the interesting landmarks and museums are within walking distance as well as many nice restaurants. Overall, I would recommend!

overall the location is the best as its very centrally located, hotel is closest to the Roman forum and Church of St. Demetrius. All the staff were very helpful and room were clean and a/c was working well.

Hotel is good. It is located very close to St. Demetrios's Cathedral and is not too far from the waterfront. However, if you arrive by train and have luggage, hire a taxi to get to the hotel, since traveling by two buses (there is a transfer) will take you over an hour. Hotel does not offer breakfast, but coffee is available in the morning.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura con un'altra coppia di amici. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Posizione centrale, personale disponibile e cortese. Colazione molto basica che andrebbe migliorata però, considerato il prezzo praticato, è accettabile. Camera e bagno puliti. Grazie per l'accoglienza.

You are literally in 5 min walk from Aristotle square. There is a relaxed cafe across the road. You can choose to walk 5-10 min in random directions and keep finding pastry and coffee shops, local goods, pharmacies, more and more dining options. Oh, how nice all people arund are! I don't think the property has an elevator, and the stairs are steep, also flooring in my room was questionable, but still safe. There is a fridge in the room, but coffee and tea available complementary downstairs 24 hrs a day. The electricity in your room only runs if your key card is in cardholder, so i am not sure about that fridge reliability after all. Bedding was good and mattress firm, which my tired back loved very much. I was not looking for luxury and maids running my bath, I aimed for convenience, friendliness and relaxation which is exactly what I had every second of my stay.
