The room was well done and clean. The front of the property needed to be cleaned and gardened. The back of the property where parking was available had an old van with flat tires, weeds growing, railing missing on back deck

Nice - but had to switch room which was logon main floor because of pro with room heater and we were put in another room not as nice and up a long flight of stairs ( no elevator) and as seniors that was problematic to drag our heavy suitcase up and down the stairs

Clean and quiet. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Restaurant on premises. Air conditioning would not work @ 2 a.m. when room got hot and stuffy (showing fault code on unit). No elevator to take luggage up to our second floor room.

Rooms were clean. Restaurant was excellent. We couldn’t connect to wifi and told the front desk but were told they had no problems and didn’t offer to help with our problem. Overall it was convenient and near the highway.

the hotel must have been under renovation ?? the access to the room from the outside was unsafe..the walkway had no handrail for the stairs, the wood was cracking and rotting in spots. The number on the door to the outside was different from the inside one. The furniture was not in the greatest of shape either. the machines from way down the hall was loud and heard all night. Not the greatest hotel . will not stay there again.

This property could use a makeover. The tap water is safe to drink but the staff does not drink it. The restaurant attached was very good and reasonably priced. We ate breakfasts there. Staff was very friendly. We did like the two entrances to our room. Our room had a small deck out back (no chairs)and we could park close to it.

Whole property based on wooden floor. Any one walking on the corridors or opening / closing doors of their rooms causes noises and disturbances during sleeping hours . Units are just manageable .

The hotel room was clean. The manager on duty was nice and even got me another pillow. Check in was easy. The restaurant had already closed for the season so we had to find dinner which was fine but letting us know when we booked would have helped. They were doing some work on the outside of the building which needed it. The place was really cute with the different color cottages. Update the painting all around, clean up the back of the building. Just a few things to add sparkle to your location.

Travelled with friends who booked room with pets. Wasn't until after arrival and had checked in that they were told that "pet friendly "actually only meant "dog friendly "and their cats were not welcome. If Expedia is advertising this as pet friendly, they need to be explicit. Carpets were filthy.

Pubic hairs on the tub & sink when we entered. Water was light brown & had an odor. Restaurant is closed but not advertised that way . I had to use bottled water to brush my teeth & I did not use the water to even wash my hands. No WiFi either.

The room was clean!! Having no shampoo/conditioner or Kleenex in the room would have been a bonus. Also the outlet in the bathroom in 206 didn’t work. Very different not having any one at the front desk for check in. Everyone’s keys just layed out on the counter. Very interesting.

Bathroom was not very clean, twin beds were not very comfortable at all. The lady cleaning a room by ours in the morning was sick and throwing up in the room she was cleaning, gross. But breakfast was good

The walls are very thin and we had a baby crying next to us for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. That’s not the hotels fault of course but walls could use some noise barriers. Very cute, clean room and lovely new soaker tub/shower.

We read some negative reviews and almost didn't book this property, but it worked really well for us. The room was clean and quiet. As with many locations now, there is no person at the check-in desk. But we were able to get our key and had a good night here.

We stayed 4 nights and from the time we arrived until the time we left our room was Not cleaned. Complaining did nothing other than the garbage being emptied. Said staff was off for personal reasons. Stated cleaning incoming guests rooms more important. Won't stay again. Terrible service.

The staff are amazing. The location will suit all your touring. The restaurant has limited hours as the area has staff shortages. The owner was amazing having some simple breakfast options available. Lovely people. The hotel is older and in need of updating. But lots of other pluses.

Arrived late, no one at reception but I had advise of my late arrival and our key was on the reception’s desk. However, surprise, surprise on entering the room comforter and pillows were on the floor, no sheets on bed. No one to contact to fix this problem and too late to go anywhere else. Did find one sheet in a drawer and turned the pillow cases inside out. Not happy but managed to sleep as we were very tired. Owner did give us a 50% discount on the room, blamed his staff. Obviously cannot recommend this place.

Upon arrival for 15 mins, it was found the sink doesn’t flow water smoothly and water goes away ver slowly. Once reported, the staff seems not accepting the fact. We tolerated them with promising to fix tomorrow. But after we found the bottom part started to leak the water and messed the washroom floor everywhere, we had to report again but no response. Next day we came back room later after 4:00and it was fixed but the staff didn’t feel anything sorry for that. I would not think the staff is friendly at all. Wouldn’t recommend this unless no other choice.

Seaport Inn is a clean and comfortable place to stay in. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. There is a restaurant on the premises with standard fare and is open till 8 pm. The inn is 20 min away from the puffin viewing area in Elliston and about 30 min drive to Bonavista. So location wise it is great. There is not much else around. For a variety of dining options, Bonavista is the place to go.

Location of this Inn is convenient. It is dated and has some issues with water. Due to the lack of rain the water coming into the hotel is a yellow colour and very unappealing. They did provide us with some bottles of water. The ramp up to the front door has many weeds around it and should be cleaned up. We were disappointed the dining room for supper was closed. Continental breakfast was good.

Great location, close to Bonavista. The continental breakfast was a nice surprise. Rooms were adequate, could have used extra pillows. Would definitely stay again. I should also note the cable & smart tv was a nice option as we were there late in the season and on a rainy & chilly late afternoon it came in handy

We booked this hotel thinking it was near Trinity. It’s not! We also booked as they had a restaurant on site. When we arrived August 29, the restaurant was closed for the season and the closest dining was in Bonavista, 17 km away. Continental breakfast was not open until 8:00 a.m. Not helpful when we wanted to be on our way early.

Propery was in a good location to get around white sightseeing. Hotel is in desperate need of some love, it is very outdated. Could use a bit more cleaning Beds were comfortable. Walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbor's talking and watching tv. Restaurant had just reopened and understaffed. Staff was super friendly and were doing the best they could. Limited menu.

This was a wonderful stopover with absolutely amazing staff. If I could have rated them higher than five, I would have. The location is quiet and convenient to the Elliston puffin viewing site as well as a short drive to Bonavista and in the other direction, the Skerwink Trail. Although the hotel/motel is a little dated it is meticulously maintained and having a restaurant on-site in a small town was amazing.

Great place to stay for the price. The best part was the bed, so comfortable! Continental breakfast was included, which we didn't know when we booked so it was a nice surprise. I'd definitely recommend and go back if we're ever in that area again.

While the bed was comfortable, linens clean, the our suite was in need of a deep cleaning and/or a new coat of paint. A bit of updating wouldn’t hurt. We were surprised that their restaurant was closed for the season, and disappointed that there was no information posted anywhere relative to restaurants in the vicinity. Only when we inquired at another inn in Port Union did we find out that the only restaurants close by were in Bonavista. It would have been helpful if there were staff on hand. Self check-in was fine but being able to speak with someone would have been better. I regret to say that I would not recommend the Seaport Inn.
