Modern family villa Basilicata Salmostro in Bali w/ Pool & BBQ Area

The villas were clean, very spacious & had everything you needed. The pool & all the pool side extras were amazing. The location is not isolated but also not centrally located. The owner was really helpful & sent us lots of useful information. The villas are walking distance from the beaches & shops, but it’s hard walking on the road side with the kids! Additionally, the villas are on a slope so going up especially in the heat with shopping was difficult. I would recommend a car as there are no local taxis or Uber. All in all the villas were amazing, location was okay & the owner was great. There were a couple of things that didn’t make this the best family holiday for us. This was 2 separate unconnected villas. Since we were 1 adult, 1 older teenager & 2 under 12 we had to spilt ourselves between the 2 villas so I was in the basement & my older son was in the top apartment with his younger brother. The WiFi in the basement villa was awful so we could not communicate remotely which added to my anxiety & worry at nights. Logically breakfast & making sure the doors were ajar so no one got locked out required more planning than necessary on a holiday. Basically when I booked the villa it was not obvious that this was 2 completely separate, unconnected villas. I had searched for a 4 bedroom villa & this came up. I feel that the fact these are 2 separate unconnected villas should have been emphasized in the description as we would not have booked it if we knew.

Great villa, loads of space. Fresh and complete. It’s actually two appartements in one. TV’s, airco’s, sunbeds, chairs all for 9 persons. Location is on a hill. I would recommend a car.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Haus ist so wie beschrieben in einer traumhaften Umgebung.Stefanos hat sich um alles gekümmert, er ist ein sehr netter und kompetenter Vermieter. Uns hat es außer an mehr Urlaub an sonst nichts gefehlt.Einmal pro Woche kommt ein Reinigungsservice und zweimal pro Woche wird der Pool gereinigt.Ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung.Vielen Dank Stefanos, es war sehr schön.

Der Kontakt zu Stefanos war sehr gut und sympathisch,er hätte auf Wunsch noch viel mehr für uns getan. Das moderne Ferienhaus könnte in der Küche noch etwas besser bestückt werden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und es gibt viel Platz. Leider ist die Kellerwohnung etwas dunkel, dafür liegt der obere Bereich des Hauses sehr schön und die verschiedenen Terrassen bieten viel Platz .

Très bon accueil de Stephanos, une propriété très propre, moderne et bien située a mi chemin entre heraklion et rethymnon Bref tout était parfait
