The restaurants are just for drinks and coffee, finger food is all that’s available after a long day you cannot enjoy a full mail. The staff was direct without any real human response. We asked for towels while going on a day tour where we could swim. The front desk said no towels are allowed to leave hotel. I’m a guest if you want to charge me for towels you lent me you could list them on my bill and charge me if we do not return. Instead we left without them being we are visiting from USA we aren’t going to be bringing towels for swimming. Also front desk made no attempt to provide change of 20 Euro when asked. There is a cafe in the lobby accepting euro and they could have asked them to provide change instead they left us having to find another location to provide change without any issue. Over all for the price and the image of a high end establishment there is much work to be done regarding customer service that goes over and above. The expectation is do more then is expected and not less then is expected. Sorry we are returning for 4 more nights before we leave Athens because we are not expecting any better service.

We enjoyed our stay at Astor Hotel Athens. Arrived a couple of hours before check in and were able to get into the room since it was available. Our room had a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The breakfast buffet was fresh and the dining area had views of the Acropolis.
