We stayed over Bank Holiday. Very nice, clean room, easy to come and go, no worries about parking space. Would come back

Great value for money. Free parking. Lovely clean room with facilities. Fridge. Tv. Shower. En-suite. Side lamps. Kettle. Really cosy and the staff were so great and really helpful and super nice. Will stay again.

No one on reception,even though it said reception was open till 11 pm,to didn’t work so had to watch to on my tablet , no lift and room was dusty and not cleaned properly,won’t be staying here again

Rooms are a lot smaller than the photos show. We did pay to move to a bigger room, as for 2 people with luggage for a week, the first room was too small. The 2nd room was a lot better. It is what you pay for. It’s a place to get your head down. Limited parking. Twice had to park on the road, as no room in the car park.

The Bed was very comfortable. The Staff were ok. There was no eating facility but i knew that. There was plenty of tea and coffee available. Wi fi was excellent. Toilet shower facilities were good. Tv worked well. For the money yes it was basic but good in my opinion. I would stay again if i couldn’t find other availabilities in my preferred places.

The staff here are excellent and very much available, you just need to press the buzzer at reception. Tv, shower, kettles all provided and great power to the shower. Looks like they are refurbishing some rooms but theres no noise. There's a small amount of traffic noise if you are roadside but not annoying. Free Wi-Fi.

Property was closest to our event. Room was on top floor and I struggled as there is no lift. The room was very sparce. Very clean, quiet and car parking available.

Staff were friendly and the room clean. The bed was very comfortable. A table and chair to work on would have improved things.

Property was very run down, very dirty and alot of noise through the night. Carpets had not been hoovered arou d the property, furniture and beds left in the corridors. On arrival we were told that it was a non smoking room which when we entered, smoke was all you could smell and the wallpaper looked stained with what looked like nicotine. Fair enough we only paid £50 to get our heads down for the night but its only fair people are aware prior booking.

Terrible to stay, never seen such a place before. I travel worldwide on regular and this place is the worst by far. Health risk dusty place...

This hotel, was not fit for purpose. There was a disgusting smell in the room, a bit like a public lavatory, no toiletries, only one towel and there are 2 of us staying. There was dust every where. The only plus point was the one towel we had was lovely and clean and so was the bedding. we didn't stay as we though we might catch something from the pityful conditions. When we arrive there were 3 drunks sitting on the steps outside, so not a great start. We only booked it because it was cheap and everything else was fully booked, but we still paid £179.00, which was a complete rip off. We had to drive 5 hours to get home, as we just couldn't stay in that room. Expedia obviously have not been to this property to check it out , so they shouldn't be using it. Finally, the pictures must be very old as they are not true to life. We would like our money back please? Not a good advert for Expedia I'm afraid. Disgusting!

I didn't have high expectations for this hotel after reading reviews and also for the price £59 for a busy Saturday night anywhere near Liverpool was always going to be basic I think. On arrival (2.45pm) i had to press the doorbell and the person who answered told me check in was not until 3pm (fair enough). I asked if we could just park in the car park and they said yes and then checked me in anyway, explained key card to me and where room was. Going up to the room it was obvious from all the various air fresheners that they were trying to mask a smell. Got to the room and it was OK. Small, which is fine. Dusty and dirty. Not so fine. There was a brown smear on the bathroom sink which did clean off but it all felt unclean. More brown smears on wall in room. The bedding looked clean enough but the mattress sheet had what looked like cigarette burn holes in and it was obvious that nobody had ever thought to vacuum along the top of the headboard or behind the bed. TV was held onto its bracket but 1 screw which seemed a bit ominous and tiles missing above bathroom door. The bed base looked like it had seen much better days too. I was relieved to be leaving after 1 night. Ultimately you get what you pay for but i think it could still be much cleaner. Pictures of smear, dust and big cobweb above bed

Did not stay in this only thing to describe it would be a grot hole. I wouldn’t allow my dog to stay in it disgusting. We had to leave and pay to stay at another hotel I expect a full refund snots on the walls god knows what on the bed and carpet smelt of sick and smoke

Dirty, unclean and overall not as advertised especially for what I paid

We picked this hotel as we were staying in the city for a football game and the whole weekend was pretty much booked out in most hotels close by. Initially I thought the price and location was decent and we were kindly told by hotel staff beforehand we could park car in their car park. We picked up our key card before going out to watch the football game so never got to see the room until we came back later on. In the evening, there was no one on reception, which is fine as that's what the posters at the entrance said. We went to our room via a couple of floors without a lift and I noticed the carpets were very dirty so it wasn't the best start. In the room, the wallpaper behind the bed was missing in some areas near the light fittings. The headboard itself was filthy. (Luckily?) I didn't realise until the morning as I wouldn't have slept in the bed otherwise. The red runner on the bed was dirty when I took it off the bed, especially on the underside. It looked like it had never been washed. The furniture was very worn out and had obviously seen better days. There was a microwave and fridge upstairs on the mezzanine type area. I didnt use either. The fridge obviously hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival as it still had food in it from a previous occupier. Gross. The couch upstairs was also disgusting. Dirty marks all over it. Including possibly what looked like cigarette burns. I've never seen dirtier furniture anywhere. It may have been better if it wa

The room was clean, if you like a hard mattress then you will love this room. If you like warm room, you will love this room. Turned the thermostat down but was still really warm (no good if menopausal flushes). Home bargains straight opposite, bus into liverpool every 10-15minutes. Will be back

Yeah, so dont be scared off by negative reviews. The single room was small but the tv, kettle and shower worked. Very quiet

Very enjoyable and relaxing two week stay, hotel was comfortable and room was tidy, would deffo stay again if needed excellent customer service and all need attained to when needed

Counter staff unfriendly. Counter staff were not in the counter from 1100hrs to 2300hrs. Counter staff were not approachable. no area cleaning were done

Honestly. Perfect for the right person/people if you want a cheap/reliable basic hotel this is the one. Customer service couldnt be better. Good comfy beds. Cant fault it. Taxis to anfield 8 pounds also and good bus routes

Perfect little bolt-hole for going to the football match with good transportation in both directions. Only loses a star because there was no plug in sink for my shaving.

It was terrible the photos are fake dont go because of the photos and the area is so sketchy when we got there we were like why the Hell did we come here SO DO NOT COME HERE AND IT STINKS IT LOOKS LIKE A RETIREMENT HOME

The place was fine, the area was not the most comfortable place to be with having a few slurs yelled at me from cars passing by. Not the properties fault but something to keep in mind if you’re Queer. The room really felt dingy and not properly cleaned the bed is right up against the curtains and they looked very dirty. You get what you pay for I suppose but still was hoping for a bit better

Just a simple room, but no need for anything else when you only sleep and shower there. Plenty of coffee, tea and biscuits though.
