This property was very tidy and clean, Reasonably priced and very close to the town centre. The staff where excellent also. The parking is abit hard to get if you dont get in early but other than that my multiple nights i stayed here where fantastic and i would highly recommend/stay again.

All in all it was a great motel. Clean, safe and easy parking. Reception closed early the day we arrived and I hadn’t checked my phone as I had driven there. The lady grumped at me when she came outside.

Was able to book online and check in was quick and easy. Front desk staff were very friendly and was offered milk for tea and coffee. Room was very clean and spacious. Air con, TV and Wifi in room. Bathroom was a bit dated but toiletries provided and water was hot. Handy location. Overall very well worth the price.

The shower had a lot of mould, especially at the base around the grouting. 2 lights didn’t work. There was no fan in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was in a very bad position when sitting. There was only one 1coffee mug. The bed was way too soft and mattress moved over when getting up. The whole place needs updating. Sorry, but was NOT good value.

Immaculately clean. Shower had fantastic water pressure and simple design that actually kept all of the water inside the shower - not all over the bathroom floor. Great bike ride route to the zoo: 100 m down main road , then quiet back streets, then dedicated bike trail.

First of all was supposed to pay on arrival but hotel took payment before I arrived then blamed Expedia and upon calling Expedia they blamed the hotel and both stated “oh well nothing I can do” when all I wanted to do was pay with a different card on arrival as stated on my booking. This has never happened to me before with my Expedia bookings and with either party not willing to help was very disappointing - both have lost a customer, air con didn’t work and it was 32 degrees granted they looked at if for me and it worked the 2nd night. Door didn’t work properly so everytime I went out it would take a ridiculous amount of time to get back onto my room. I will not stay here again.

Stayed here for a brief stop over night on our way through. Was convenient, easy to find and good value for 3 adults. Check in process very easy as we were arriving after office hours. Just missing a milk in the fridge so we could have had a coffee.

Extremely upset as the motel had sent me a text message advising me that they had cancelled the booking due to non payment. I had driven 10 hours and last minute had to go and book and pay elsewhere and then they went ahead and charged 4 unauthorised payments to my card and now will not contact me back

The hotel room its self was not bad but the customer service is shocking. There was a large group staying in the room beside me and they were rather loud. I left it till just after 11pm before calling reception and when I did was met by a rude lady telling me she infact would not do anything at all. I made this review on google and they ran me down unprofessionally saying no one was in the room beside me- I met them the next morning as I was packing up my car! Red the reviews on this hotel and avoid at all cost.

We had an unfortunate incident with staff not available so my review is a little biased. Apparently the staff had not turned up for work so manager had to drive up from Newcastle. This meant we were unable to check in until 530pm - a bit of an issue after being on the road since 6am and arriving at 4pm on a cold winters night. A phone call to advise us of this would have been appreciated. The room was large and clean but needs some TLC. eg the wall power outlet was bare wires behind the beside table. The bathroom ceiling had more paint peeling than on the roof. Good things were close proximity to fast food outlets and good parking. If you aren't spending a fortune, it's ok.

Good value motel. Unfortunately, breakfasts are not available & motel’s restaurant is also closed. Be nice to have the old phone plug replaced by PowerPoints near bed head for mobile phone.

Stayed a night then another a week later. The two rooms we had we fine, warm and clean, except we found a wet used face washer in the bathroom the second visit. Our first visit we tried dining at the restaurant there, but they were too short staffed and half the menu was unavailable, and other patrons were struggling with obtaining their meals quickly enough so we went elsewhere. We didn't bother trying to dine their on our second visit as we could see that there was only one waitress/host again running around. Parking is a little tight, but manageable, with most patrons gone by 8. Quiet. Great showers. Friendly staff. I would stay their again.

From the warm welcome to the well sized and immaculate rooms, a great location, easy parking, reasonable price and a fantastic dining and breakfast menu, I consider this motel had everything I was looking for. My only regret is that I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant due to prior commitments. But next time the restaurant will be a priority.

The value for money at this hotel for a short stay was excellent. Easy access to the downstairs unit. Restaurant was close by and it included a continental breakfast, only issue at the restaurant was that the coffee mugs smelt of chlorine which was very strong. But the staff accommodated by bringing another mug that had been rinsed. The room had good facilities clean great hot water for shower. Tea coffee and a toaster was supplied. If you did not want to go out fast food places are nearby and it is only a short drive to the city centre and the zoo. I recommend this place

Cheapest offer in town, small room, but perfectly ok. Kitchen was understaffed and took 3 goes to get room service right, but were very apologetic. TV does not have access to free to air apps such as iView or 10 Play

Disappointing motel experience. We were asked when we booked for any special needs. I asked for a ground floor room. We were given a first floor one. Whene I pointed this out the lady said she never looks at those things! We got changed to a poky little room not the nice one I had booked as they were by now fully booked. Meal last night was very ordinary. My husband ordered caborara which was supposed to be with bacon an mushrooms but mushrooms were scares and their was lots of chunks of chicken. I ordered a schnitzel with lemon, salad and chips. It was burnt on the bottom, salad was wilted lettuce with 4 pieces of red onion, a few 2 cm pieces of tomato a thin slice of lemon and enough chips for 3 people. We also ordered garlic bread which arrived while we were eating or main. It was over an hour from when we ordered our meal till it arrived. The restaurant wasn't busy but they only had one waitress. We ordered breakfast, orange juice, plunger coffee, and poached eggs bacon and toast. It all arrived cold, and the boy who delivered it produced the milk from his tracksuit pocket!! No orange juice. When I brought this to the ladies attention she said "thats not good" but gave me a juice.
