The Pros: - Inexpensive - Clean - Roof top pool - Comfortable new mattress The Cons: - No refrigerator in the room - they had them in October (friends stayed here then) but have since removed them from all rooms. - No ice access anywhere in the hotel - Steps to exit the pool platform are slippery when wet with no handrail. Pretty dangerous. -No place to park legally to unload luggage. Difficult when your alone. Neither pro or con- just observations: The furnishings and fixtures are quite dated -think 1980's pseudo deco, most in need of cosmetic repair. Repairs on walls partially done, I.e. spackle patches in the walls but not yet painted. Tile missing in the pool. I found the check in process very easy. I received my code via email by check in time and entered the property and my room without difficulty. However, I can see why some reviewers complained about the process- especially those who are unaccustomed to the digital world. I did not use any of the spa services so cannot comment on them Bottom line: you get what you paid for.

I like the room that I was in, the view was amazing, the staff was great and helpful. The room does have stain, and some noticeable cracks. It not really sound proof because all you hear is muffled voices. The staff does clean the room daily. Outside the hotel there are restaurants, pharmacy, and mini-grocery stores you can go to. There is also a beautiful trail you can walk along. Overall it a 4.5/5 for me and the town has a rustic, home feeling to it.

Honestly was a perfect stay for what it was. It’s an older hotel but everything clean and the pool area was nice. For what it’s worth it was great, I’m a solo traveller and the room did what it needed to do. When I had any questions the staff was always friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something close to Barcelona but without the crowds and price ;)
