The restaurant was a 5 star dining experience ! , The menu is different not just burger and fries ! They have such things as bbq quill, the cheese platter is fantastic,the pasta with short rib is amazing ! from the bar were cocktails such as a Fig old fashion was top notch , and in the morning the Cappuccino was better than the most shops ! It got your day started and the drip coffee after was great.. need a midnight snack or a bottle of wine, they have it.. Eveything about this hotel was something you wouldn’t expect and we travel a lot.. and the staff made sure you had everything you needed … we will be back to this fantastic hotel… Hilton out did their selfs on this one !!!!

Excellent hotel. Room was very clean and spacious. Cool lobby bar with restaurant. Hotel is in a great location and very safe. They did charge $10 a night for parking which I thought was strange.

This was one of the better Hiltons we stayed in. The rooms were a nice size. Little disappointed that we had to pay for the water in the room. Usually there are complimentary waters for the guests. Only had breakfast there but there were very few choices. We were referred to the little market in the lobby. We will do that if we return.

The hotel is beautiful, well maintained with a large bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious. Isabelle, our server was kind and attentive. The General Manager went above and beyond in addressing our needs. All staff we came into contact with were friendly, approachable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity!

The room rate I paid for a Memorial Day weekend stay was pretty steep for a Hilton Garden Inn (over $100 markup over the next nearest property in the chain, even before parking and pet fees). The room itself also had not had a very thorough cleaning before I arrived -- there was visible dust and dirt in the corners and there were crumbs on the chair. That said, the bed was spotless, the bathroom was also too clean to complain about, and the front desk staff were very sweet. The property is well-located in downtown Haymarket and walkable to restaurants, breweries, etc. which made it an ideal place for my trip, especially with two large dogs needing a place to go out morning and night. Worth noting, as usual with hotels -- the walls are not as thick as they should be. If you have noisy neighbors you'll be listening to their lives unfold throughout your stay.

We were there for only a day, the AC unit didn’t work properly, the room either got freezing cold or hot. We ordered some food to be delivered to our room while we were away so we would have something to eat when we got back, but they thought I’d be in the room to receive the food, so no food was there I had some messages Dayi they tried to deliver the food.

This hotel was nice: room was spacious and modern, and the staff were kind and informative. The restaurant inside the hotel had great food; I ate brunch, and the burger with the house-made English muffin as a bun was really good. I didn’t get to explore the area all that much, but it seemed safe and I’m sure I could’ve found some fun stuff to do if I was staying longer. All in all, 5-star experience. If I’m up in Gainesville again for work, I’ll definitely choose this hotel.

Ideal location. It sets far enough away from the major highway so it is quiet, but close enough that getting back on the road is easy. There are several places for shopping and eating, but it has a great breakfast and bar area for dining in the hotel.

This was our first time staying here. Checking in was quick and easy. The location is perfect with plenty of parking. The hotel had a restaurant, an adorable little bookstore with a wide selection and a little shop with homemade soaps, honey and more!! Very clean and comfortable. In a nice quiet location as well.

Very nice business-type hotel. I would not suggest that people get rooms on the second floor if you want to open the blinds as the hotel is right on the street and it feels like anyone on the street is essentially in your room with you. Also the restaurant was closed (as it apparently is regularly) so there were limited dinner and breakfast options. I am not sure if the hotel makes that clear on its website or this site, but it was a surprise to me. Otherwise a very nice hotel with very friendly and competent staff.

This hotel was wonderful! Very clean and comfortable. We loved the Haymarket area too. Lots of quaint shops and places to eat. The only drawback for us was the lack of a hot breakfast included with the price of the room.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The most important thing in hotels for me is cleanliness. I have no complaints in this department. They even use fabric softener because the towels weren’t rough like they are in most hotels. I loved the scent in the lobby. The ladies making coffee were so very kind and attentive. The only thing that was a little lame is the restaurant being randomly closed and the staff deciding to just not do room service on a whim. That’s the only reason I didn’t give them the last star. The housekeeping staff and the ladies making coffee carried everybody, lol.
