Pool was green, ants in the doorway and inside the room. Grounds were dirty, floor inside the room was dirty. Sink was not working. AC didnt work, remote didnt work, tv stayed on one channel, with Stupid Southpark on so we, (my 8 and 9 yr old grandkids were with me), turned it off, inappropriate for kids.

BB-Q area at the pool was great! We could swim, eat outside and dry off in the sunshine.

Very poorly maintained and in severe disrepair. Bathroom drain was not operational and backed up onto the floor. No soap in any of the dispensers. Towels were shabby. Pool water was brown / green - disgusting. Laundry area / ice machine was just gross. DO NOT BELEIVE for a second any of the photos shown by the property.

The room I got was dirty and the bed looked like someone slept in it . The bathroom was dirty , someone used the toilet and didn’t flush, maybe the housekeeper? The tray where the coffee maker was on was dirty and stuck to the counter and there were ants present . The WiFi did not work . There was loud noice outside my room til after midnight . I did not get any sleep during my stay. No coffee in the morning due to the unsanitary conditions. I will not stay in that place again . Oh and the pool was nasty green and not clean to use either .

The hotel manager was nice and friendly and gave us some good recommendations. However, the hotel did not have hot water!! The drain in the tub and subsequently the other drain in the bathroom did not drain and backed up, which smelled terrible. Yes, both issues can be fixed but you should not let people stay in a room if there is no hot water/drainage. We got a refund and left. I also don’t like when there is a “pool” advertised but when you arrive the pool is disgusting, half full and full of green/brown water. Very distasteful.

The location was great close to restaurants and bars. Unfortunately, the room needs to be updated and or a Deep cleaning. The pool was green and closed.

I'm not one to leave reviews but today I am. I can not believe Expedia partners with such a dirty motel whos pictures are nothing what you see and smell in person. I booked last minute because I was looking for something inexpensive to put my head down for a few hours while on the road. Walking into the office I wanted to turn around right away it smelled so bad. Smelled like a dog pound with heavy smell of feces and pets. Although, the lady was super nice so I decided to give it a try. Got into my room and it was dirty, with a hair snake on the nightstand by the bed, stains on the sheets, heavy chemical smell, toilet wouldn't flush, green pool breading mosquitos, the list goes on and on. I wasn't there longer then 10 min and decided to leave and checked into another motel down the road and forfeit the money I spent at the Bishop Inn. The pictures are very misleading and I hope whoever books next actually reads the reviews and not just look at the pictures like I did unless you will be highly disappointed like me. I still can't believe Expedia partners with such a dirty and disgusting place. I definitely will never be back

The floor was very dirty. Toilet seat was loose. The pool could not be used water was very green and dirty

Office Mgr. was pleasant. Bed and Bathroom were clean and fresh. Fire alarm was not connected. AC unit not working. No washcloths or soap and tissue. Outside the pool was dirty and closed. Outside needed a good sweeping and wash down.

Chambre sale, literie pleine de très nombreuses tâches brunes et de trous, sanitaires sales, serviettes avec des taches, lit à ressort inconfortable, sol sale (gros moutons de poussières par terre). Chambre sombre, ambiance glauque. Nous avons fait d’autres motels pas chers dont la propreté était bonne donc le prix ne doit pas justifier de dormir dans un lit degueulasse. Dehors des personnes zonaient et écoutaient de la musique forte. Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel je pense qu’il peut y avoir mieux ailleurs.

This was the filthiest place we've ever stayed in. We ended up sleeping in our clothes after taking a look at the sheets. There were sunflower seed shells and a dead bug on the floor. The floor hadn't been even swept. There was a used tampon in the garbage can in the bathroom trash can. The whole place smelled. The heater was noisy and smelled.

Blood on the sheets! Hair everywhere ! Stains on the Pillows . Placed should be SHUT DOWN! I want a refund because I SLEPT IN MY CAR WITH MY WIFE . Check the cameras !

Toilet handle was broken. However, if you reached into the back of tge toilet, you could make it flush. Toilet seat cover was broken. Floor neede to be sweet. No TV remote. We were given another remote that took an hour and a half to prrgram. Even then, the programmed remote worked the channels, but did not work the volume. One of the two beds had soiled sheets.

The hotel was very dirty from the lobby to the room. The lobby smelled and had hair everywhere on the carpet. Outside our room was trash and a trash can overflowing. The pool was closed and was color green. Inside our room the towels had dirty spots and hair. The coffee machine had big dust particles on it as well as the tray below it. All surfaces and the floor was dirty with hair and dust. The bathtub and toilet was dirty. My friends and I did not feel safe using anything in the room. We were not going to dry our face with towels that contained other peoples hair, we were not going to make ourselves a coffee in the dusty machine, we were not going to step into the dirty bathtub, and we were not going to place our food in a mini refrigerator with spill marks. We ended up telling the front desk and we were informed that it was not cleaned today as they forgot even though we arrived an hour after the check in time. If it was not “cleaned” then why were the beds made and the towels hung on the rack folded. Everything seemed as if it was “ready” to be used but not cleaned at all. We were not given a refund and had to go somewhere else. The pictures of the hotel did not reflect how it was today.

This property is a one star best. It was not clean, there were ants in the hotel room, the toilet had not been cleaned in sometime, The bed wasn’t comfortable, it was extremely dated, the pool was green, and there was trash outside of our door when we walked in for the first time. I’m not sure I’d stay here if this place was free.

Don't be fooled by the photos! This place was FILTHY, bed had hair and dirt, sink toilet and bathtub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Walls are paper thin so you can hear all the noise from outside and the rooms next door. The heater turns on/off every 30 seconds so forget trying to sleep! The mattress felt like sleeping on a marshmallow. We arrived at 9pm and there was no one at the reception. Can't believe how much they charge for a place this run down and dirty.

The most unclean room I have ever booked. Bed sheets were disgusting.

The room was clean and looks good. The bed was not spring supported, so your body will kinda sinks into the mattress. Not very comfortable sleep. They only provided one towel for two people. The shampoo and body wash dispenser didn’t dispense. Parking is very tight squeeze for suvs and trucks. The staff were friendly though. The room looks good, but functionally, it misses some of the marks.

The bed creaked every time I got in and out. on the good side: The TV was fine and had some cable channels, had an in room microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The room was also pretty good size. Parking was good. It was a little hard to find at night; at first I wasn't sure if it was a hotel or an old apartment building; It could use some lighting and a new sign. I did get a good deal on the room so maybe I would go back?

The Direct TV did not work. Even after the hotel staff ‘fixed it’, it immediately went berserk. So we gave up. There was mold in the lower 1/4 of the shower. At 1208 am, the smoke alarm started chirping. I had to get up and reset it. On the good side…. Friendly staff that tried to help.

Its a nice motel, just had the heater/ac where the bathroom sink is at the back of the room, and all the way up to the ceiling, room was so cold, took a long time to warm up & very noisy.

You get what you pay for. My room was entirely adequate, however my friends stayed in a room that reeked of cigarette smoke.

It was an easy transition from Eastside to the Bishop Inn. No frill but a good bed

I didn’t expect much for the price as far as decor, but the cleanliness was so poor. There was toothpaste spit and a body hair in the sink. It was sickening. I had to wait for 10 minutes in an empty reception area for someone to check me in. Staff was polite and apologetic. After a tiring drive 10 minutes felt very long.

Check in was at 3 pm but the room was not ready until 5:30 pm once in the room, there were no towels and trash can in the room. Also, the handle to the shower was missing and the hand soap in the sink was out. Items in the refrigerator were left over don't know since when.

Similar to other roadside hotels. The manager Penny was super nice and helpful after someone else took our reserved room. The room was alright, good for a nights sleep while on the road. A little run down and not super clean, but gets the job done.

The front lobby is filthy. The first room they put me in was not cleaned, toilet urine stains, cobwebs in the bathroom. The room floor hadnt been cleaned. I asked for a second room. That one was still dirty but not as bad as the first. The bigger problem was the door did not lock. The desk lady said she would refund my money and i went to a different hotel. I still ended up getting charged for the room through hotels.com

Staff worked hard to try and make everything nice, hotel room was nice and clean . Restroom was tired and needed maintenance. I always try and stay in smaller hotels and would stay again.

The windowsill had cobwebs, the floor towel in bathroom was stained as well as some of the bedding. The pool was closed, but lady said when we checked in that it didn't pass inspection, but what she doesn't see, won't hurt her. Requested room to be cleaned and they said no daily cleaning.. Was a nightmare getting clean towels. Asking for anything else, ya right!!!! Last minute booking for Memorial day weekend, so we stayed. Would we stay here again? NO WAY!!

We had no complaints, and world happily stay there again.. Staff was very nice!

The manager was very accomodating and gave me a room w car park in front and close to the office. This was very helpful to me! The bed was really big and fluffy and comfortable.. Everything was clean and frig and microwave enhanced the convenience. Thank you!

Parking is limited

Im a senior and i really appreciate old school service and property. We had 3 rooms everyone was happy. We asked about the brewery just down the street and got a recommendation for good burgers. Spot on. I would recommend Bishop Inn and stay there again.

The room is spacious. The location is great. The staff never brought me coffee when it was requested.

Average for a 2 star. It was the closest hotel to the Bishop airport where I landed and walked there.

Nice front desk people.The Inn is next to a trailer park. The air unit was super loud. The bathroom drain didn’t work and flooded when you showered. Soap dispensers were empty.

There is no functioning pool. There are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. The TV did not work. The room was ABSOLUTELY INFESTED with spiders and ants. Literally had ants crawling in the bed. Some websites advertise breakfast for this place but this was not available. The office manager or owner was nice enough but the standard of cleanliness was frankly horrifying and the blatant misrepresentation of amenities is borderline scammy.
