Room was clean - Sheets had hair on them. Asked for clean sheets at the reception, Stephanie locked herself in the maintenance room next to the reception desk for 15 minutes and came back with a blanket that was roughly folded(like how a 8 year old would fold) - had no other choice but it take it. We had asked for a rollaway bed and it was just left outside the room for us to taken it in, put the sheets on. Was charged $40 for the rollaway bed - the person on the phone while making the reservation did not mention that rollaway beds would be an additional charge. I had asked for a two queen room but they just had one King room and said they can provide a rollaway bed but did not mention the additional charge. Paid over $400 for just the room(+$28 for parking +40 for roll on bed) . I asked for a tooth brush and she said it was $1.50 for a disposable toothbrush (eventually said she would make an exception this one time and I could have it for free ). Next day when we complained to the the person who was at the reception, he said he would not charge for the roll away bed, send an obsure invoice but charged my creditcard for the bed and the parking. when I called, the person on the phone had no clue - kept me on hold forever. More than the money, I was on the phone to make sure to get the right. Though it is not worth my time to write this review - want the hotel staff to honor word given to the customer in the future and also for future guests to know.

The tv didn't work had to call the front desk she came messed around with the tv then called the cable company it was up and running again after about 30min. There was a smell in the room not sure what it was . Lots of stains all over the carpet and the air conditioner sucked. Photo on line are deceiving

The location is great, within walking distance of both the boardwalk and Lighthouse Beach. Unfortunately, the housekeeping experience left something to be desired. We stayed for 3 nights, and at check-in and in a text from the hotel, we were told that if we wanted housekeeping, we could reply to the text or contact the front desk. On our first day, I replied to the text requesting housekeeping for day 2, fresh towels, and for our garbage to be emptied. I never received a response, so I also stopped by the front desk to make sure the request was received, at which point she notated in the computer. We were out of the room from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and when we returned, nothing had been done. I went back to the front desk to follow up, and the employee acted annoyed by my request, explaining that they had 18 rooms to turn over with limited housekeeping staff. I completely understand being short-staffed, but I also don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a service that was specifically offered to us. At that point, I asked if we could at least have fresh towels and our garbage emptied, which seemed like the bare minimum. They did eventually take care of those two things, but only after I had requested housekeeping three separate times. It was disappointing to feel like I had to practically beg for a service that the hotel had offered in the first place, then be made to feel like I was inconveniencing the staff for asking. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Room was great. I wish they would clean up the lobby. They use it as a storage space. Extra chairs, refrigerators, lamp shades, and the tv is never on. Can’t sit there and relax. Three days I went there in morning there was no coffee made or hot water for tea. Looks like counter space for snacks but it is cluttered. I love this little hotel but the lobby space has never been finished. 😞
