My car was broken into, steering column damaged. Not driveable. Had to take an uber to an enterprise. This location has security cameras and a security guard yet three vehicles including mine was vandalized. At checkout the only thing they said was sorry this happened. Definitely thought they would have had some sympathy or compassion for my situation and reduced my bill.

The hotel is new, but the staff is lacking in efficiency. The linen is not very clean, you can see stains on it. Also, the pool was filthy! One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was to utilize the pool and I couldn’t even swim. I honestly feel as though I should be credited for part of the price because I could’ve booked anywhere for my birthday weekend.

Computer issues upon arrival prevented us from checking in right away, which was annoying because it was 8 pm and we had two kids with us. Towels were dirty in the room but otherwise it seemed generally clean. Pool was cold. Breakfast was good.

Upon arrival we were informed about keys weren’t available due to earlier power outages. No heads up. We didn’t get them period. We stayed in there for three nights. Every time we returned from outside or even from pool we had to go to front desk for room access. Many times we had wait for staff 15 minutes. Things like toaster, pancake maker wasn’t working. Window blind is broken. Fire alarm went off several times on our second night. Apparently it was only my room and main panel wasn’t working. Asked for a meeting with the manager who was no show as per staff.

I’d booked a stay from April 7th-10th! Everything was fine until I saw a BED BUG in my room. I HAVE PICTURES AS WELL! I was offered another room (420) and when I observed the bed in room (420), I saw blood stains on the pillow. (Another sign of bed bugs)! I left immediately! You sent it to me here

Overall the stay was fine. However, I wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom floor was dirty. The bed sheets, pillows, and towels had stains. The sofa that one of my kids was going to sleep on, also had a huge stain. So, we didn't even sit on it. We were only there for 2 nights, so we could deal with it, but definitely wouldn't stay there longer.

All we looked for was a one night stay in a clean room which this hotel was not able to provide. There were yellow streaks/stains on the duvet and bed sheets, and the replacements we got also had stains. Bathroom was not cleaned very well either, dirt/soap residue at the shower. There was a quite serious cleanliness issue with our room. We were not happy with our visit. Arrived in the evening and left as early as possible in the morning without even bothering with the breakfast.

The hotel was clean, the staff were kind, professional and attentive. The decrease in stars was only because everything was so loud. You can hear everything through the windows, everyone moving the floor above you, and for some reason every time a door was shut in the hallway you could hear it in the night. I am a sound sleeper but still woke up every time a door shut, it was that loud. I think the hotel was just built quick and cheap? Breakfast was offered in the morning. We didn’t eat there but it was nice that it was offered.

The check in was brutal took over 30 minutes and two of the rooms were late getting ready which was okay except for when i went back up to get the keys when rooms were ready they wanted ID all over again and since i had just been swimming i had no ID. The breakfast was good. The place was clean. Warned by staff not to park out back because cars get stolen.

This hotel was in a very safe location. It was very clean from the lobby, to our bathroom, to our room itself. The desk attendant was exceptionally friendly when we checked in and actually remembered us hours later when we returned from the theatre to ask how our show was.

I called the day before to inform the hotel that the card I put for the reservation was lost, I cancelled it and got a new card, which I was going to pay with. The girl told me it’s ok it shows you’re paying at checkin just bring your card and you’ll be fine. I got there Wednesday at 2:30 only to find out my reservation was cancelled. The girl said it was because they processed my card, the one that was lost, and it was invalid. I told her I don’t know why they would do that when I’m supposed to pay at check in first of all and secondly I called to inform them about my card situation. She said that’s their policy and that they called me, which they didn’t. Then the manager told her to tell me I could get another room for $100 more than my original one. I told her no it’s not right I booked the room, called to inform the hotel about my card situation so I shouldn’t have to pay more. She talked to the manager again who said no the price stands at $100 more. I ended up leaving and booking at a different location 20 minutes away. Keep in mind I drove 4 1/2 hours and this is how I got treated. The manager never came out to talk to me. I even called today to talk to her, left a message and I still haven’t received a call back.

Overall, I did not have anything bad to say about the property. Everything was clean. The staff was amazing. They were super courteous and it was a busy time so they didn’t have a room available, but they like rectified it super quick and I can see that they were working hard so couldn’t ask for anything better. I left my phone at the front desk and the clerk brought it up to me which was going above and beyond so good experience.

The young guys at the front desk are amazing and helped with everything! Got in at 5:30a and wasn’t supposed to check in till 3 with my 2 young boys. The young man at the front desk went and checked some rooms and found me one to get in. So very thankful and will stay here again!

Our stay was great. The hotel was clean and the service was excellent. Zainab at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. She went out of her way to provide us with good advice on shopping options and restaurants. The other service desk agents were very friendly and helpful as well. Overall, the stay was great. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Even the bathroom and amenities were plentiful. It was great to have the free breakfast. Food was warm and always filled. The attendant at the breakfast was pleasant and easy to talk to. She was always smiling. Thank you for a great stay. We would highly recommend this Hotel.

Or stay was wonderful, stayed 2 night while visiting the Henry Ford museum and village. Check in was a breeze with friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but worth it not having to go out and buy breakfast. Selection of pancakes, cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage and other options like cereals, toast with jams and peanut butter and other breads. Room was clean and comfortable no complaints. The Dove products in the bathroom was an added bonus. We’ll definitely stay here again if in the area

My husband and I were in Detroit for a concert and wanted a place to stay outside of Detroit. This holiday inn was a great choice. Only about 15 minutes from Little Caesar’s Arena, the area felt safe for the most part, hotel is very new and clean. We loved our room that we got at a reasonable price. Only downside was that the staff at the front desk was not the friendliest/ not great customer service

Staff was very friendly every encounter. Rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast had warm and cold options- it’s a hotel breakfast. The only concern was there were multiple car window broke out 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed. We kept everything out of our vehicles and did not experience this personally. I did not want to have to put this because the hotel and staff were so wonderful but I would want to know when reading reviews.

Great option for an overnight stay. We attended a Little Caesar's Arena concert and used UBER to get to and from the venue. The area was a bit desolate but served our overall purpose.

Or stay was wonderful, stayed 2 night while visiting the Henry Ford museum and village. Check in was a breeze with friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but worth it not having to go out and buy breakfast. Selection of pancakes, cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage and other options like cereals, toast with jams and peanut butter and other breads. Room was clean and comfortable no complaints. Beds are comfortable and good amount of space in the rooms. The breakfast was lacking...broken machines and quality of food was just ok. There is a nice little area to sit outside but it seems to be taken over by smokers, which is a bummer. I would stay ahain.

It was clean and close to the Henry Ford Museum. The keys didn't work consistently on the door. No hand soap, coffee or enough towels in the room. The breakfast was lacking gravey for the biscuits and no oatmeal. There was water leaking into the dining room during breakfast and one of the coffee machines were broken.

I would give the Dearborn Holiday Inn Express a 5 star, except there seemed to be an issue with breakfast on 2 of our 5 day stay. The hot breakfast was not available on those 2 days. One of those days after 9:00 hot food was finally put out & available. It seems the cook did not show up to work. Cold cereal, doughnuts, yogurt & toast we offered. We had 3 different rooms family was staying & in 2 rooms the bathroom GFI outlet did not work, We reported this, but it never got fixed, even though we were told they would fix it the next day. Otherwise, it was a great stay! The staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient for Target, Walmart, restaurants, Downtown activities & also was close to the Henry Ford Museum. The price was worth the stay.

When I got there they told me they cancelled my reservation because the card on file was declined and they didn’t have a contact phone number for me to fix it. There were 3 cards attached to my account two had expired and I forgot to update them but there was still another valid card for the hold. My phone number was on there as was my email to contact me. They conveniently had one last room available, which happened to be the room I reserved. Also our shower was missing an entire door and we didn’t discover that until midnight after we got back from the concert. When I brought it up on check out they simply say “yes but the water doesn’t come out onto the floor, but we ordered more doors the general manager knows about it.” Needless to say I won’t be staying at a holiday inn express again much less this one.
