Hanigans Cottage

From the moment I stepped foot on the property I feel in love with its charm, the surrounding landscape and the serenity. My dog and I had the most incredible stay, with such breath-taking views from every angle. We loved morning walks to visit the cows and sitting by the firepit in the evenings watching the most stunning sunsets over the hills. Located only 10 minutes from Berry and 15 minutes from Shoalhaven heads we enjoyed day trips out and about exploring the local region. Hanigan's cottage is the perfect little country escape.

Stunning cottage, countryside vistas, sunset views, central location to so many varied areas of interest - Shoalhaven Heads, Berry, Kiama, Cambewarra Mountain, Huskisson/Jervis Bay, even Bowral/Berrima was an easy country drive away.The property itself retains all the charm and character of the original building, and yet has been updated to include every conceivable modern convenience.The large 1 acre fully fenced yard is a paradise for dogs and the huge separate shed with table tennis, sunset bar, darts and games was an amazing asset to the property.We had a fantastic stay!

This is a beautiful little cottage with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The sheets were crisp and white and the kitchen was very well equipped. We particularly appreciated that there were multiples of everything so you didn’t run out of plates and cutlery after one meal! Loads of games to play and the location was lovely although you do need to get in your car to go anywhere but it was quiet and you felt like you were in the middle of the countryside even though you are actually around the corner from Bombaderry! Our only criticism was that the pillows in the third bedroom were like rocks but otherwise we had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again!
