The price was good and the room, although sparsely appointed, seemed clean. The parking lot adjacent to the hotel is a gathering spot for parting and a pop-up market in the evening. There were scantly dressed women who had rented a room on our floor and seemed ready for male visitors. The hotel had hired security standing by in a car in the parking lot which made me feel safer in this roudy environment.

The rooms were recently remodeled with all modern decor and it was clean. Unfortunately, there were no amenities such as a coffee machine, microwave or small refrigerator. There was a flat screen tv on the wall but hardly no stations were available. There is no closet to hang anything just hooks on the wall. The bed was ok but sounded like it was going to fall apart. Only 1 pillow for each of us. A lot of noise outside at night because it was right by a busy road. The area did not have any restaurants around the hotel. When we checked out, the front desk clerk did give us some coffee for the road. I think the price is high for the area it is in and we will not be staying there again.

This Hotel should not be in Hotels.com. The site is misleading customers by avoiding the important things. Just imagine walking to a bullet proof glass desk with a speaker window that is the reception area. The noise level of the Hotel next to a heavy truck transited highway when walking to the room is the prelude to a climax of terror that is about to happen. You enter to a disgusting smelling room impossible to descipher and you will never forget. Of course I canceled my stay and moved out. The person at the front desk told me I will be charged one night and refunded the remaining. But Hotels.com is not recognizing the situation and shows my trip as completed. This is so frustrating. Where is my refund? Lastly, this Hotel charges $200/night, this is absurd!!!

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It was unsafe to walk from the parking lot into the lobby which had bulletproof glass. My room smelled of cigarettes and Pine-Sol and when I asked the front desk why it smelled that way and why I didn’t have a non-smoking room she replied oh, that is our non-smoking room. I walked away, did not spend the night was not safe at any time for anyone, they did not give me a refund I would pay the $400 not to stay there for two nights . my sister, who is dropping me off, was crying when I returned back to the car because she was afraid for my life. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life at any hotel anywhere in the world.

We were pleasantly surprised by the property. Our room was large and very clean. It was quiet. The area looked a little sketchy, but there were no problems. The guys at the neighboring gas station were very friendly and helpful. They have a veritable mini store behind the counter if you forget any personal items or need aspirin, toothpaste, shampoo, hairspray, etc. We needed a smoking room, and they are very hard to find. The room did not smell like stale smoke. It was very clean and very large. The staff is very friendly.

The bathroom looked as if someone just sprayed it down. It didn’t actually clean it. It was hair in the tub hair in the sink and the sheets smelled like body as if they were not washed washed.

Checking in, the front desk associate was very nice. However, when I returned to say my nonsmoking room is very smokey I was not offered another room. I was given frebreeze and had to keep my door ajar to breathe awhile. Due to an event nearby there were not other options so I thought I could endure it. I ended up with a headache and an itchy throat. The yop sheet was clean but the mattress pad was DISGUSTING. STAINED AND HAIR ALLOVER. There was garbage under the furniture. The walls have definitely never been wiped down, filthy - plus flies. I dont even think they swept up my room. There were people stompi g around. Kids crying. and very late people banging on doors to be let in. It is not the best aresa but this was a 200$ motel stay and it was disgusting and noisy.

We needed the room or we have probably left. The area was dirty and loud. There was blood droplets on the floor by the bed. There were other “guests” yelling and playing loud music right outside our door as late as 4:00am. Oh, my buddy who got the bed had bed bug bites all around his ankles in the morning.

If you are a light sleeper, this is not the best place to stay at. It’s close to the street so you’ll hear the noise of the streets and guests are noisy too. They won’t care what time it is and blast music loud. Rooms are as pictured, studio like.

I will never be coming back here , When we first arrived they some how couldn’t find my booking I was telling them I have the confirmation number in every then they act like they could do nothing about it couldn’t call the manager or nothing so I had to call the website I book it from then they had to call them to speak to a manager, we was waiting outside in the cold for like 30 minutes then they finally got it then I go to check in to the room the TV don’t work had to go back down, then I checked the sheets they was so dirty so I took pictures then showed them they said we had to wait on the supervisor to come change them then the supervisor took like 15 minutes to come then we had to wait 20 minutes outside in the cold while they changed them , then we finally go back to the room to check the sheets and the sheets was still dirty again like what was you doing for 20 mins? because the sheets was still dirty

Unfortunately this hotel was not a good place. The room smelled very heavily of cigarette smoke so badly we couldn’t stay in it. Thankfully the staff gave a refund.

All staff we encounter were lovely, we checked in late due to a late flight into Chicago and checked out early due to starting a road trip. The hotel was clean and we had a nice room. The surrounding areas/car park were a little questionable at times but the hotel and staff themselves were pleasant.

Found a fake set of eye lashes on my bed, room reeked of cigarette smoke. All the towels reeked of smoke, no appliances, stained walls, cigarette holes in the drapes. Not exaggerating... worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I urge everyone to please go somewhere else. Also when I called to see if they had early check ins, I was answered with a "NO!", in a very rude tone, no politeness. Please don't go here. I wish I would of taken pictures to show proof. I do whole heartedly believe this is the worst hotel in all of Chicago. DO NOT GO HERE!

Upon arriving, I was extremely uncomfortable with the condition and appearance of the surrounding area. Based on what I observed, I did not feel that the location was safe for myself or my vehicle, and I ultimately chose not to check in for that reason.

This Hotel should not be in Hotels.com. The site is misleading customers by avoiding the important things. Just imagine walking to a bullet proof glass desk with a speaker window that is the reception area. The noise level of the Hotel next to a heavy truck transited highway when walking to the room is the prelude to a climax of terror that is about to happen. You enter to a disgusting smelling room impossible to descipher and you will never forget. Of course I canceled my stay and moved out. The person at the front desk told me I will be charged one night and refunded the remaining. But Hotels.com is not recognizing the situation and shows my trip as completed. This is so frustrating. Where is my refund? Lastly, this Hotel charges $200/night, this is absurd!!!

Location of where the hotel is not that great…hotel from outside looks really nice compared to the rest of the neighborhood. Staff was friendly. when entering the hotel room, it reeked of cigarette smell. the room was ok not as nice as what was advertised but overall ok

While this property has beautifully remodeled, the area that it is in is scary. As our driver drove us further away from town I wondered why I hadn't checked the location. The buildings were rundown and many were boarded up. There were, possibly, ladies of the night, gang members, drug dealings. The hotel parking lot was full of people 'hanging out, partying, hollering and playing loud music'. I have no complaints about how people live thier lives. I just did not want to be in the middle of all this. I did not feel safe.

Don't go there if you are sensitive to cigarette/weed smell. It's quite common in every room. The neighborhood is shabby and far from downtown. Sometimes the people on the top floor are quite noisy. The bed wasn't that comfy.

This hotel is in a bad neighborhood. I pulled into the parking lot then left cause I didn’t feel safe. It looked like a party was going on in one of the rooms with lots of people coming in and out. There were people under the influence and panhandling on the corners. Talking with an someone who lives there n the city and they called it prostitution alley. Maybe I would have been safe and my car would have been ok but I wasn’t taking that chance. Do your due diligence.
