Rooms efficient n clean. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful athletic complex you can use : pool, huge fitness room. Staff friendly. Only negative is bathtub floor was a bit yellowed.

One day into a 2 night stay, the hotel disabled our room key and wifi. The wifi was very slow. The second day our wifi was disabled again. We found it frustrating. The dining area was small and crowded. The pool and hot tub were actually in a large recreational complex next door that was open to the public and was very noisy and inconvenient to access.

Great bar and restaurant downstairs. When you factor in the Credit Union Place pool, hottub, steam room and sauna which is included in the price, this hotel is hard to beat for Summerside.

Great location. Attached to the Credit union place which is nice and allows you to get to the rink, pool, bowling and gym while staying inside. Don’t like that the website didn’t express clearly that the pool is a public pool. When it says open daily there are exceptions for holidays since it’s a public pool and not a hotel pool. I feel there’s been enough feedback on this in reviews that the website should be changed. I don’t think I’d want to stay if the place was full or any sort of sporting event going on that I wasn’t a part of. If you’re there for a swim meet, figure skating comp or hockey tournament then this would be the best place. The breakfast area is small and congested so to add more people would not be pleasant I wouldn’t think. Overall though I did enjoy my stay, had fun but won’t likely stay there again.

Restaurant inside hotel but did not try it. There are other restaurants 10 minutes away by car. There is a small snack shop about 5 minutes walk towards water. There is a fully fenced in dog park about 5 minutes away by car going away from city which is located behind water treatment center. You can have a nice long walk on boardwalk by the water just a few minutes away. Pool access to the attached building is a plus.

Great swimming pool with water slide, kids pool and pool for laps was great Breakfast was good with a good variety over a few days. The EV vehicle charging station was not convenient at all for hotel guest I understand that the hotel shares the property with the ice rink, swimming pool and community Center who’s main entrance is a bit closer but would be nice to have a EV close to hotel main entrance Hotel staff was fabulous, very polite and courteous Very pleased with our stay and will stay again for future visits

Nice and tidy rooms, attached to Credit Union place which you have access to with room key and has pool/bowling/fitness area etc. Located right beside Red Shores horse racing and casino, as well as close by to other shops and restaurants in Summerside and not too far from the boardwalk. Night staff on our arrival was very nice, Paula was very welcoming! Breakfast is simple but has what you need and the staff are attentive to make sure everything is filled and you have what you need. Thanks for a great stay

The room wasn’t well cleaned, the sheets were not changed at all. And the worst thing was that kind of insects in the room. We did report that to the front desk but no feedback unfortunately. I can’t attach the video I took about the insects in the room.

Honestly I had a mixed experience with this place while staff were friendly they didn't exactly do their jobs either. Never once was housekeeping to my room or the towels changed or the garbage for that matter either. I had to do that myself so should I tip myself. Not once but multiple times did I have to change the garbage myself as well cause i had a toddler still in diapers with me. Went wirh this place because of the pool with slide for kids it was open all of 10 minutes they then went back to rock wall despite of interest in the slide. All of this especially is annoying as I overheard other guests say they didn't have experiences like this. Also air conditioning kept going out and we sweat to death every night.

Very happy with our stay at the Summerside P.E.I. Microtel! Our room was spacious and suited our vacationing needs quite well. The staff we dealt with were very courteous and knowledgeable about the whole island. They made an effort to get to know the hotel guests, and ensured our stay was very special and enjoyable.

Nice, newer hotel in a good location close to the water front. Staff were very friendly and breakfast had a good variety. Temperature control was difficult to figure out….took quite a while to get warm.

Very clean. Room design was modern but short on hooks and closet space. Front desk was a little slow, but friendly and honest. They called us after checkout to let us know when left behind an expensive item.They then worked with us to get the item shipped home to us as we live out of province. We had an ocean view but it was obstructed by hydro wires and waterfront buildings. Still nice but not what I expected. Breakfast was decent but not outstanding. Connected to the sports stadium and competition size pool and gym. Very nice. Everything closed by 8 pm restaurants included. Great location,clean and bright and modern. Would stay there again.

The regular rooms are small but good for what we needed and the beds are very comfortable. The room is well equipped despite its size (fridge, coffe maker, desk,...). The staff is very polite, helpful and answers clients with a smile. The hot/cold breakfast is fresh has a good variety. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to enjoy the pool or the bowling but they look nice on the pictures! The only negative was the shower floor that needed a scrub (textured floor so I guess it was surfaced clean but stained of reddish-brown sand so should have been scrubbed).

Comfortable and clean. Lots of free amenities we unfortunately couldn't use because of our short overnight stay. Close to restaurants and waterfront. Ground floor room facing the street and traffic noise - would request an upper floor room next time.

Best staff I’ve come across in a long time! Very impressed with the level of customer service but all staff we came across especially the older woman at the front desk. Was a delight to stay there for this reason. Clean, loved the convenience of the pool/hot tub location. And great location close to beach and amenities.

Stayed at your Summerside location twice within one month and both times the check in took a long time. I waited more than 30 minutes and there was 4 people behind me. Also the dining room claims it closes at 10pm however both times I stayed they closed early. The lady at reception was very pleasant to deal with.

When we checked in we were advised that room cleaning was only done every 3 days during a patron's stay. If we needed a quick refresh just to alert front desk. A quick refresh only entails having garbages emptied. We had a 4 night stay and our room was never actually cleaned or fresh linens/beds made at all. We requested a clean on the 2nd and 3rd days but all we received were the garbage cans being emptied and the sink was wiped out once - shower was not cleaned. Also bar was not available in lobby due to staffing issues. Liked the hotel but they seem to have a lot of staffing issues. Great breakfast though but the area is very crowded and not laid out well. Could use a few more tables for people to sit at as well.

Communication among the staff. We were a party of two and received one towel..one facecloth..front desk put note on computer to bring two of each..notes were erased somehow. Exceptional staff member was a lady named Paula that worked evening shift from three till 11 She was very thorough explaining any or all details of the hotel property. She tried to accommodate us as best as she could. She was excellent.

Pool was amazing, but it’s not part of the hotel! You are allowed to use it because you stay at the hotel. Waterslide wasn’t working when we got there.. which is the only reason we booked this room. The front desk clerk said “idk what you expect me to do about it, it’s not our pool!” After a 6.5 hr ride with an 8 yr old boy excited for a pool! Hours later the waterslide was working! My son actually hit his head on the waterslide. My husband took him to the same front desk to ask for a bandaid and the women actually made him wait at the front desk dripping wet and bleeding while she hit on a bunch of 20-something year olds at the desk! Teasing them to leave their beer with her! Not impressed… at all

Had a great experience at the Microtel Inn, great staff. Near center of Summerside so short drives to all the local restaurants and benches, 35 minutes from Cavendish near all the popular locations. Overall a nice Hotel to stay at, cozy rooms!

Great property and location to explore Summerside and other areas of PEI. Cavendish was approx. 30 mins drive and Charlottetown was approx. 1 hr drive. The hotel was clean and no noise complaints. Staff were accommodating and helpful. My kid enjoyed the pool. The only downside of the pool was that it closed at 8:45pm BUT it did open after 6:00am. Overall, will be staying at this hotel again next time we come to PEI.

Paula at the front desk was excellent! We stayed for two nights and anytime we were coming or going, she was always checking in on us. The $20 fee for a playpen was a little high, most hotels are $0 and if they do charge it’s typically $10. The food was decent, small menu. Drink menu was also decent however multiple top liquor brands were missing, for our entire stay. Grey goose, rose, ect. Breakfast was okay, limited options. Would like to see scrambled eggs and bacon.

Great hotel, conveniently located. The only issue that I had was with the restaurant. During breakfast they need more staff. From 8:45 through to 10:00 am there was never a time where all of the breakfast items were available at the same time. The layout of the breakfast offering is also very congested.

Hotel is good and newly built Staff was good Veg and non-vegetarian food are kept in same heating containers which should be kept seperately There should be a microwave at the breakfast facility
