Latitude 26 Waterfront Resort and Marina

Mysigt lite annorlunda boende i en husbåt som ligger i anslutning till ett motell. Husbåten har ett litet badrum, sovrum med dubbelsäng, ett litet sovloft samt två soffor som troligen kan fungera som bäddsoffor. Rent och fräscht med lite enklare standard. Tillgång till mindre pool, cyklar m.m. Enklare frukostbuffé ingick i den bokningen vi gjorde.

Fjärrincheckning via digitalt formulär var nytt men funkade efter lite besvär. Trevlig uteplats och bra restaurang som granne. Ok utbud tlll frukost men vi saknade brödet.

Inte alls nöjd med detta boende. Bäddsoffa för två enligt beskrivningen fanns inte och extrasängar fanns inte att få, så det saknades sängplatser för oss fem. Dåligt städat och en dålig lukt som satte sig i kläderna. Vi sov en natt, checkade ut kl 8 och tittade inte ens på frukosten.

Väldigt slitet och sunkigt… Inget jag vill bo på igen… Kassa sängar och man hör motorvägen in i rummet. Luktar mögel på badrummet. Dock får jag säga att frukosten var långt över förväntan!

We loved our stay. This is a place meant for people who want to have fun and enjoy music throughout the property. The tiki bar is a blast. However, if you go to bed early, it might be a bit too loud if your room is nearby. In our case, we loved it. They also have two swimming pools with one quieter and more relaxing whereas the other was our favorite place to hang out each day with fun crowd, food, beverage service, music and an overall good vibe. Be cautious on the room size that you reserve since ours was considered a standard room, but didn’t have a dresser or a place to put our suitcases other than on the floor. The room was rather inexpensive so we will just get a bigger room next year and it won’t be an issue. Just don’t buy the smallest room if that is a concern of yours. Parking was easy, plentiful and free. As for location, we could walk a few blocks to everything. That includes the beach where we saw dolphins and stingrays, plus multiple fun bars and restaurants. Truly in the center of everything. If you want to ride bikes, I’d recommend going to Sanibel Island for the day since they have 25 miles of paths whereas Fort Myers Beach is limited to streets/sidewalks in a more congested area. For food, we enjoyed our hotel restaurant, but we would also recommend walking four blocks to Snug Harbor. For events, we drove to the Everglades for an airboat tour, which was fun, but no wildlife except at their pet farm. Did the tiki boat tour and had a blast with Captain Mark.
