The listing said there was on-site parking. There was not. 2 of the options they gave us for parking upon arrival were not even accessible. We spent an hour driving around trying to find a safe looking place to park. Also, the entire time we stayed there, our room door did not lock from the outside. We could only lock it when we were in it. Which meant our belongings were basically unsecured whenever we left the room. Lastly, the air conditioner did not work well, which was not comfortable during 85+ weather! While the gentlemen were very friendly, they did not fix these problems while we were there.

Location is super convenient Staff was friendly The room is cozy and clean The only thing is not really ideal is parking, they don’t have onsite parking, you need to find parking, $25/24hours, which is affordable, if you have young kids and lots of luggages, then will be a bit headache.

The Hotel has no parking. There was a bug over my bed. The man down stairs came up and kept trying to say it was a fly, a spider, a lady bug. Then after killing it with a broom it was a ROACH!

There was no staff anywhere to be found in the morning to check out and get a receipt. I went to the lobby to ask a question and nobody was anywhere to be found. Went back 20 min later and still nobody there. I called and nobody answered over a 30 min period. The room itself was clean and had the amenities needed. There is no parking within 3 blocks and the road it’s on is mostly closed as there building 3 high rise buildings.

The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a lot of amenities. However, the lobby smelled like they were filming a cheech and chong movie. Parking is not on site, its an added fee and is a walk, about 5-10 min. There is construction on the street that shut down the road, so my family and I had to load the car on a busy street double parked and in an unsafe manner for check out. The area around seems remotley safe, but it was 5 degrees when we arrived, so it may not be as safe if more people were out. However, its located close to a bus depot which could be useful for some. The night checked in employee called several times checking on our arrival time. We arrived at 1030 pm and it seemed like an inconvenience for them. No where did it state that they expected us at a certain time, only that check in was after 4. Ive stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was a first. They asked us to call 5 min before arrival so they could be there, so i do not beleieve that there were any over night staff.

I wanted to share my recent experience, and I would strongly recommend avoiding a stay here for at least the next year. There is major construction happening right across from the hotel, with loud noise starting as early as 7 AM every day. The street is closed to traffic, so guests are required to walk some distance to reach the hotel, and there is no available parking. Additionally, the hotel rooms were not clean, and housekeeping did not provide daily room cleaning services during my stay. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the Journal Square train station, which is within walking distance.

This place literally had no parking and the nearest public parking lot (which requires a fee) is a 10min walk from the motel. The young boy at the front desk stands in front chain smoking cigarettes literally his entire 8-12hr shift so there's a nice dirty pile of cigarettes to greet you upon arrival. The place itself looks slightly surface clean but the sheets were dirty and unchanged and there was a dead cockroach on the kitchen counter upon arrival plus there's a strong air freshener scent throughout the facility masking the funk beneath. Bring a black light and you will see this place is swarming in dna, and other bodily soils! The sofa was so filthy with strange stains that my husband and I avoided it. This is no vacation nor any type of relaxing trip. I imagine this is only appropriate for youngsters that don't have an apartment to take their cheap date back to. If you're traveling with your spouse or children go with a trusted name like Marriott or Hilton. This place is disgusting!

This place runs only on one factor - close to trains to NYC. 1. This is not a hotel but an appartment which gets serviced. 2. Massive construction next to it, so you will hear all kinds of noises all day. 3. Place is not run by any professional staff. Few college kids and seniors, so dont expect any professional conduct. You can get a good or a bad staff depending on luck. 4. Elevator smells bad, linens were not clean, pillows have to be requested. Couch I wont dare my kids to sleep on them. 5. Absolutely no customer care or hospitality. 6. Neighbourhood is trashy 7. Zero parking or space to unload. Pros: 1. Great food around 2. Close to PATH trains to NYC. There was dust on the bed sheets and entire room. Got rashes on skin due to dust. When asked the reception to get it cleaned or change of room, they replied no room was available and no cleaner would come until last day of our stay. Disappointed with the service and uncleanness. However, neighbourhood is well connected and Path train station is very close by.

The room was just ok, the kitchenette is very nice with new full size appliances. The mattress was soft and lumpy, and the window was drafty, but the heat made up for it. The room had been cleaned by the cleaning staff before my arrival, and the sheets were clean, but in the cupboard there were crumbs left by the previous guest. I saw a few small roaches during my 5 night stay. Location is great, but this property needs more attention to cleanliness.

Very convenient location. The desk staff was very nice, and the room was spacious. The linens were very good, and the beds comfortable. Like other reviewers have said, they don't clean the rooms daily, so you'll need to re-use your towels, etc. But, for the price, you couldn't ask for more. If I had any nits, the kitchen needs more utensils, pots, pans, and glasses. The cabinets need a little TLC with their construction, the room's soundproofing wasn't good around the door, and the bathroom needs ventilation (you can see that the steam buildup is already affecting the walls and ceiling). Overall though, I would stay here again. And, being close to India Square is a definite plus!

I don't recommend this hotel. It was really poor. No room service and cleaning. I stayed 4 days and no cleaning was done. I asked receptionist for clean, he said only cleaning after 15 days .. that was insane. Also cookware was brought from bin that can not be used any more. overall it is negative and don't waste your money.

Arrived to check in and the door was locked and no one was working at the front desk. We waited outside for over 30 minutes and only got let in from another guest. The phone rang and rang before someone finally answered, and then finally arrived by car to check us in. The room was filthy, with a dirty bathtub, dirty dishes, and hairs and kleenex behind our bed. No one was at the front desk once again for checkout.

The room was exactly as described. Our only complaint was the full-size sofa/bed was not very comfortable. Especially for a longer stay. Minimal but satisfactory utinsils and pots and pans for the kitchen. I would have loved a regular size coffee pot but at least there was a full size kettle. Literally steps from Little India. Lots of options for food!

Recently updated, very clean, excellent appliances and comfortable beds. Well-stocked suite; even had a hot water pot for tea. Owner/manager very helpful and responded promptly when we needed something. Neighborhood is extremely noisy but it did not bother me and that’s not his fault. Also did not bother me, but there is no one at the desk after hours; you let yourself in with a code, and can call owner ( he lives next door) if you need something. The room was huge, no problem there. Only 2 issues. The room was not soundproof. Every night at 1:30 am the people beside us were up playing with their young child, making all kinds of noise, usually for about an hour. The other issue we had one night, the elevator alarm went off. I attempted to call front desk, but it went straight to a Google voice account and there was no way to leave a message.

Hotel was newly renovated. Nice and clean with big kitchen. Met all of our immediate needs. Two blocks from the train station and were able to ride the train to NYC each day.

The gentleman that was at the desk when I checked in, didn’t have a pleasant disposition. The following day, the young man that I encountered at the desk was very kind and polite. Unfortunately, we had a room that the door lock was a total disaster. Extremely difficult to get in and out of your room. Then finally we ended up locked in the room. I got a bunch of apologies though I had to pressure them into putting us into a new room. It was a big inconvenience. Other than that, the stay was quite nice.

The room even if it looked pretty new it wasn't clean and the smell of smoke/cigarette at the arrival was unbearable, the sofa especially smelled like a giant ashtray. The temperature of the water in the bathroom does not go beyond lukewarm and air conditioning didn't work. Having said that, the guys at the reception are very nice and welcoming. The location is ok because of its close distance to the Path station of Journal Square, but in the surroundings there's pretty much nothing to do. I honestly wouldn't come back.

Hotel was updated. Very clean. Quiet. My only complaint was the shower. There was very little water pressure and water does not get warm! Barely lukewarm. It was very unpleasant.

Ok...no one in lobby. We had to call to get someone. It was hard to even see the phone number from the outside door. The person who eventually answered said 10 minutes and it was 10 minutes when we were outside with a truckload of stuff. There was no card to bring our luggage in. There was one blanket in the closet for the pull out bed which was kind of ratty and no pillowcases or sheets. One of the window shades was completely broken and there was a problem with the shower door plastic bumper. Not for some of the other people who are staying there. We would not even have been able to get in and wait for the attendant to let us into our room. The street was awkward and we could not even get down it due to the construction. The parking was advertised as available but it really wasn't. Oh, when we checked into the room, smell was horrible because of the heavy cleaning products that were used. It took a while for us to even get over the smell. The blank can smelled too. It's kind of sad because the hotel is in a good location, but you can hardly find it.

Staff during the week are great. The weekend gentleman has a bad attitude. We stay here often and there is always leaking waking up, walking into puddles of water. If it’s not the refrigerator it’s the air conditioner. That can become a nuisance. Other than that, the aesthetics of the place is great. The ability to cook full meals is great location great. Outside of the construction going on across the street now

The room was quite large for the NY Metro area. The lobby was a bit noisy between the music being played and young children. The front desk wasn't always attended to and no one picked up the phone when I tried to call in the morning. I also asked for my receipt several times and never received it.

We were 4 senior women visiting the NYC area for the first time and stayed 6 nights. Peachtree Suites was located within an easy walk to the PATH station which takes you right into NYC Times Square. The staff was very nice, although no one on staff early morning as we left for day, but they were there when returning in the evening. Area was safe to walk at night, we went to the store nearby for groceries in the evening with no problems, always felt safe. Came home late on the Path after seeing a musical in the city and still felt safe walking back to Suites. You do need to empty your own garbage (garbage closet in lobby), and ask for any extra toilet paper, garbage bags or towels you'll need while staying, as they do not come into your room at all. Would recommend the accommodations.

Arrived to check in and the door was locked and no one was working at the front desk. We waited outside for over 30 minutes and only got let in from another guest. The phone rang and rang before someone finally answered, and then finally arrived by car to check us in. The room was filthy, with a dirty bathtub, dirty dishes, and hairs and kleenex behind our bed. Awesome service! We arrived early but they were willing to hold our baggage while we explored to wait for check in. The location is so nice and quiet compared to Manhattan. The subway station is less than 5 minutes away and there's a bus stop from the city at the corner. Would recommend! Very clean and convenient.

The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room had a lot of amenities. However, the lobby smelled like they were filming a cheech and chong movie. Parking is not on site, its an added fee and is a walk, about 5-10 min. There is construction on the street that shut down the road, so my family and I had to load the car on a busy street double parked and in an unsafe manner for check out. The area around seems remotley safe, but it was 5 degrees when we arrived, so it may not be as safe if more people were out. However, its located close to a bus depot which could be useful for some. The night checked in employee called several times checking on our arrival time. We arrived at 1030 pm and it seemed like an inconvenience for them. No where did it state that they expected us at a certain time, only that check in was after 4. Ive stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was a first. They asked us to call 5 min before arrival so they could be there, so i do not beleieve that there were any over night staff.

I wanted to share my recent experience, and I would strongly recommend avoiding a stay here for at least the next year. There is major construction happening right across from the hotel, with loud noise starting as early as 7 AM every day. The street is closed to traffic, so guests are required to walk some distance to reach the hotel, and there is no available parking. Additionally, the hotel rooms were not clean, and housekeeping did not provide daily room cleaning services during my stay. The only positive aspect is its proximity to the Journal Square train station, which is within walking distance.

Very close to train station Journal Station going to NYC ( red line goes straight to Memorial station NYC) and Hoboken line ( yellow line) straight to Midtown ( Macy Store) Clean and good amount of space for 4 people - kitchen is nice ( option to cook) esp during late night craving) Need to fix the shower door and toilet paper dispenser ( but still works) Option for luggage storage is a plus - just need to arrange when to pick up as sometimes no front desk Make sure to ask their phone number or how they could be reach just in case when you come back to pick up your luggage . Located within a 5-minute walk from Journal Square, the property seems to be a repurposed condo development. The unit I stayed in was a full condo, with a kitchen and balcony. There was a good amount of space and wifi was good. Unlike a hotel, the front desk was not staffed when I arrived after midnight, requiring me to phone someone. There also did not appear to be amenities like a gym. However, this was a budget friendly choice for me as I needed a place to stay that was closer to a hotel room than a hostel, and within reasonable distance of Manhattan and the airport. Would recommend staying here if one was planning to explore Jersey City or its area, otherwise it might be a bit inconvenient if traveling further afield.

The room was exactly as described. Our only complaint was the full-size sofa/bed was not very comfortable. Especially for a longer stay. Minimal but satisfactory utinsils and pots and pans for the kitchen. I would have loved a regular size coffee pot but at least there was a full size kettle. Literally steps from Little India. Lots of options for food!

My friends and I stayed here. I can only say that I am very happy with the warm welcome and the wonderfully cozy room, very clean and it had a kitchen and a rooftop terrace to see the views of New York. Without a doubt, the best place we could have stayed. There is also a supermarket and several shops nearby and the Journal Square station is very close. Thank you very much, I will definitely come back another time.

Love this hotel. Treat yourselves to comfort and convenience. The rooms are clean, kitchen supplies and dinnerware good supply and the employees are great. Path system 2 blocks away so just buy a ticket and go to nyc in 10 minutes. And treat yourself to the breakfast lunch bistro Right next door best breakfast sandwich is avocado, turkey, bacon , tomato, cheese and special sauce is delicious. Thanks guys you made my vacation wonderful. Do both the hotel and bistro well worth your trip.

I liked the room size. Having the kitchen was nice as I’m an early ri. However, there is no coffee pot or tea kettle to brew coffee or tea in the morning. No coffee or tea in the “lobby” there is a small cafe next door but doesn’t open till 7AM. Parking is a bear! No good place close to facility. Couch, towels, dishes looked old and used. Pots were definitely second hand! Didn’t want to use them to heat water to make coffee. I bought an electric tea kettle. There was a decent balcony, but nothing to sit on! No chairs, no table. I offer this review in hopes that these inconveniences mentioned are see by owners and used in efforts to improve guest experiences. I wouldn’t stay there again because it was not conducive to my needs.

The hotel in itself is very ok. Though the room is big, they don't clean the room daily and the blinds of the window were broken, that led lot of light in the morning. The cafe next door is very good and a must go. The location is very nice as the train station - Journal Square is 4 mins walk from hotel and has direct trains to WTC and Times Square.

Peachtree Suites was very clean and is located next to many shops, the PATH train and dining. The front desk staff also nicely let us store our luggage for a few hours after we checked out before our flight. Definitely would stay again!

We were 4 senior women visiting the NYC area for the first time and stayed 6 nights. Peachtree Suites was located within an easy walk to the PATH station which takes you right into NYC Times Square. The staff was very nice, although no one on staff early morning as we left for day, but they were there when returning in the evening. Area was safe to walk at night, we went to the store nearby for groceries in the evening with no problems, always felt safe. Came home late on the Path after seeing a musical in the city and still felt safe walking back to Suites. You do need to empty your own garbage (garbage closet in lobby), and ask for any extra toilet paper, garbage bags or towels you'll need while staying, as they do not come into your room at all. Would recommend the accommodations.

Very convenient location. The desk staff was very nice, and the room was spacious. The linens were very good, and the beds comfortable. Like other reviewers have said, they don't clean the rooms daily, so you'll need to re-use your towels, etc. But, for the price, you couldn't ask for more. If I had any nits, the kitchen needs more utensils, pots, pans, and glasses. The cabinets need a little TLC with their construction, the room's soundproofing wasn't good around the door, and the bathroom needs ventilation (you can see that the steam buildup is already affecting the walls and ceiling). Overall though, I would stay here again. And, being close to India Square is a definite plus!

Ben servito per raggiungere New York (Path vicina) e con locali per la spesa e per cenare nei dintorni; cucina con tutto il necessario ma la camera è priva di sedie e di un tavolo (è presente solo un tavolino). Se si arrivi di sera non c'è personale e devi chiamare un numero telefonico che è visibile sul desk per potere accedere all'edificio. Noi eravamo in tre e abbiamo dovuto richiedere le lenzuola per il divano letto (abbastanza spartano). Silenzioso in questo periodo ma la stanza confina con un tetto pieno di motori per i condizionatori

DO NOT BOOK HERE! Couldn’t get into hotel for 30 mins(door was locked). Major building construction across the street. Staff didn’t want to give us extra items. There was nothing for spare couch bedding and let me tell you we put many items on it to cover up all the stains, filth and glitter. Hotel room was not clean and towels had stains on them. Walls were tore up. Dishwasher and sink drain reeked. Barely any cooking utensils. Microwave not clean. Both sets of blinds were broken. We had to use couch backing and ironing board to block out the light. I’m not even sure our bed had actual clean sheets on it. Water only went to Luke warm. Nowhere to sit and eat. Had a desk and a broken computer chair. Could hear people above us all night walking around. The mounted tv on the wall was definitely a hazard to anyone who had to walk by it as it was mounter 2 ft from where pullout ended. AGAIN PICK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I stayed 4th of July weekend 2026 and my stay was not worth $500 for the weekend. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned, shower still had hair from previous guest, and with my luck i didn’t pack my shampoo and conditioner and the dispenser wasn’t filled. It’s not their fault that I didn’t pack correctly and that’s not why i gave it a low rating. The mattress is NOT comfortable and HARDER than a rock. I didn’t get any sleep because of how bad the mattress was. Also, please pay attention that there is NO parking and finding street parking is IMPOSSIBLE. They do offer information on a parking garage close by, but with the amount that I was charged that should have definitely included parking. YES the no parking is listed on the website but I just wanted to HIGHLIGHT that part for you that may miss it like myself. I wouldn’t book another stay due to how bad I wasn’t able to sleep.

We booked this hotel for its location, it’s pretty close by to journal station (PATH), probably 3-5mins walk. It’s also surrounded by several Indian and Asian small restaurants and grocery stores. Parking was not available at the property, so I did roadside parking for in an out only. Rooms were large and service was ok too. There was a big building in construction just opposite to it (maybe 15-20ft away only), this was in end June 2026. Overall this place doesn’t give hotel like vibes but is good for someone who wants to save money by staying in Jersey city when visiting Manhattan.
