We loved it. We stayed in the back at the hotel. Off the HWY. so no traffic noise. No sound other than soft sound of walking above us inside our room. We stayed in a room with a kitchen. The room was Superb, Spring Clean Job is what I think of. The kitchen was well stocked, with small appliances, in addition to stove and refrigerator and eating/drinking utensils. The balcony was great. Sound of Ocean was wonderful. Trail to beach easy access. Clamming was great! We were there for 4 days.

I was thrilled with my room, everything was new/upgraded, huge TV, Jetted tub. A fantastic view with a private balcony. I was on the 2nd floor of the apartment style building. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating.

Arena del Mar is a cute little property with small cottages near the road and a two story motel overlooking the beach. Our ground floor motel room was bright comfortable and had a private balcony. Next time we would request a second floor room to have a better view but we enjoyed our stay it was very quiet and peaceful and just a very short walk to the beach.

Our room looked right out to the ocean. Was nice to have a kitchenette in the room. The room itself could have been cleaner- there was a big dead spider on the pillow and a few dead bugs on the floor. Perhaps they snuck in after the cleaning crew left. The building itself is a bit run down and the window areas are quite dirty. otherwise the room seemed relatively clean and the bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was nice and strong but it was very slow to drain.

The room had 2 queen beds and the room was clean. However, I’m not so sure the bedding was changed after the last use. Multiple pillows were covered in dog hair. The bottom pillow on the bed looked like it was just turned over and other put on top as there was someone else’s hair on it and black makeup. I know this washes out because if I don’t take my makeup off the night before I have makeup left on my pillow in the morning. There is 2 sheets on the bed, one above and one below the comforter. When we flipped the covers back to get in bed, tons of sand was between the comforter and the sheet that was on top of the comforter, which then ended up in the bed. I understand that dogs are allowed there, but I am allergic and there shouldn’t be dog hair completely covering the pillow case like multiple pillows had. Don’t think I will be staying there again.

Review I read was 10/10. I stayed in Cabin #11. Perhaps the term “cabin” implies bugs will be present? The cabin was shared with earwigs, potato bugs & small spiders. The coffee pot had not been cleaned, cobwebs were plentiful & when I flipped the switch for the bathroom fan it made a short grinding noise, then silence- that fixture was ridden with cobwebs also. Otherwise this is a very small cabin, described as “basic.”

Made the booking last minute for my spouse's birthday. The room was adorable and cozy! The bed was super comfy, views didn't disappoint, and leaving the back windows open allowed us to hear the ocean all night while we slept. Definitely plan to return in the future and better prepare to make use of the kitchenette so we only leave for beach walks!

Cute little room, no view of ocean from bottom floor but could hear it.. very peaceful and quiet. Downside was internet kept going out. We had a difficult time watching television because they did not have cable and used internet television.

quiet, secluded and easy access to beach were the good points. Smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Toilet is crammed in a 25" space. Shower is 25" x 30" -so, did not use. single Cadet heater in wall, hard to maintain temperature. Horrible tv reception, via internet. Kept buffering and or loosing connection to network. Office said they would run dianostics on it but never fixed it.

There was no ocean view but a very short drive to the public beach. The room was clean and quiet. Check in and check out were super easy. The beds were super comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but, it seemed like a very adequate kitchen. I guess My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough seating in the living room and the bathroom is tiny. But it is a small cabin. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again

When i 1st entered the room i was hit by the smell of mildew and dampness. The room had no a/c and the room had 2 tiny windows on 1 wall. We opened 1 window as the other had no screen and the mosquitoes were bad. Very stuffy room on the beach. The floors may have been swpet but were not mopped and dirty under foot. Cottage rooms are very small 10X10, cramped for 2 people.

The ocean view and an easy access to the beach were my favorite parts of the stay. Just a short walk to the beach. The room I got had a balcony that I could sit outside and enjoy the sound of the ocean. My room was on the first floor so I only see partial ocean view. You may ask for the second floor room to get a better view. The property looked a bit run down from the outside but the room was renovated. It was nice and clean. The only thing I least enjoyed during the stay was the thin wall. I could hear people on the upstairs moving around the room.

The view from the beachfront room was spectacular! I can tell they have done some new upgrades and work on the building. I felt safe and the room was clean. However, when it rained the ceiling leaked! Even though, I would stay here again.

Place was cute. Check in was quick. Attendant was super friendly. Internet is good. Smart TV w Comcast. Only downside is that the bed sinks in as soon as u sit on it and when sleeping the bed is tilted so ur head is lower than ur feet. If the bed had some support so it's soft but not making me feel like a hotdog between a bun would be great. Will come back again tho.

We traveled from Vancouver, Canada, and arrived later than expected due to traffic in Seattle. The staff was very accommodating and ensured we could check in smoothly, even with the late arrival. We booked Cabin 8, which is not connected to another unit, and found it very convenient—especially with a toddler. The short walk to the beach was pleasant, but I’d also recommend driving down, as you can actually drive and park on the beach, making it easy to spend the whole day there. During checkout, the staff, including the cleaning team, were equally friendly and welcoming. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m visiting Grayland. :)

Our stay was amazing! I got the best deal on Hotels.com. The manager at our property was friendly and kind and gave me excellent recommendations on where to eat. We stayed at the beach house. The driveway to it is gorgeous with the trees leaning down. As close to the beach as you can get. The path down to the beach was easy to access and beautiful. The beach itself, as always, continues to be my favorite place in the world. The room was immaculate. The bathroom was gorgeous With a jetted tub. The bad was super comfortable. I loved our back porch. Pro tip. I would leave the back porch door open at night to keep the cool air Coming in. Absolutely incredible. We will definitely be coming back.

The room was great but what really impressed me was the awesome staff! The wonderful person working the front desk went out of their way to call me when I errantly arrived after hours, not realizing it wasn’t a self-check in situation. They didn’t even have to answer the phone, their policy clearly states check in hours and I totally missed it. They had every right to not help me, but instead they made me feel like I wasn’t am inconvenience (even though I was) and like my business was appreciated. Love that!

Comfy room, giant spa tub with beach access! Quiet and peaceful. Recommend booking an oceanfront room. Very kind and welcoming. Helped us out when our car broke down and needed a jump without hesitation. Appreciate the hospitality! Would definitely book again!

The staff was excellent. If not for the poor cell reception, everything would have gone smoothly The area leaves something to be desired, but the location makes up for it (short walk to a beautiful beach). Very small space, but we didnt mind that. There are some serious updates needed (rusty appliances and dusty heaters) but overall a good stay.

The hotel has a splendid view on the ocean side which was a separate building from the cabins. It's older but well kept up. The room had a fridge and coffee maker and a large TV with streaming channels, some free and some you needed to sign in. Check in was easy. You’re a ways away from the office. The town has a small grocery and a few restaurants. It's 16 miles to a bigger town. I had a relaxing day. My teenager was bored because he’s used to warmer beaches with sun.

Arena del Mar is a cute little property with small cottages near the road and a two story motel overlooking the beach. Our ground floor motel room was bright comfortable and had a private balcony. Next time we would request a second floor room to have a better view but we enjoyed our stay it was very quiet and peaceful and just a very short walk to the beach.

Unfortunately, I was in a small cabin close to the road and heard road noise all night. Cabins further away from the road would be fine. These are NOT ocean view cabins, they look at a road. Also, behind my cabin, was a very run down auto shop and fence half down and half up. They did a lot with the small space these cabins hold and they have everything you would need. The place was very clean and the managers were great. You just had to walk down a short road (on the property) to get to the beach. There is a small lodge with ocean front windows (it is small).

We loved this for our mini honeymoon. The property was great with the weather we had. If any hotter I’d bring a little fan. Our dogs loved the beach and we loved how accessible it was. Definitely pack up some food unless you plan on eating out. 😊👍

We love cabin #4. It is perfect for our family of 4. We love that it has a kitchen where we can cook our meals and save money. It was clean and nicely decorated. We also love how there is laminate flooring and no carpet! We tracked in sand from the beach and were happy to find the broom so we could clean it up. We also loved that we could stream services on the GV and use our phone to login so we know it was secure. We also loved how there were plenty of towels.

The room we stayed in was perfect! The kitchenette had everything we needed. The appliances worked great. The king bed was very comfortable. My only complaint would be how much we could hear people above us, so we got woke up earlier than we liked. Next time, we will book an upstairs room. The access to the beach was great!

Our stay was amazing! I got the best deal on Hotels.com. The manager at our property was friendly and kind and gave me excellent recommendations on where to eat. We stayed at the beach house. The driveway to it is gorgeous with the trees leaning down. As close to the beach as you can get. The path down to the beach was easy to access and beautiful. The beach itself, as always, continues to be my favorite place in the world. The room was immaculate. The bathroom was gorgeous With a jetted tub. The bad was super comfortable. I loved our back porch. Pro tip. I would leave the back porch door open at night to keep the cool air Coming in. Absolutely incredible. We will definitely be coming back.

Cabin 6 was perfect for a weekend getaway to do some clam digging. It was close to beach access and lots of dining options. The room was small but cozy and had what we needed. The bed is a little soft & seems my feet were more elevated than my head but we survived. Would definitely stay here again.

The room had everything you need. Shower was small if you are a bigger person. Could use towel hooks, front cabin was pretty noisy with morning traffic. Beach access is not real close but private. Bed was comfy, very clean. Would stay again.

I had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beach. I had an ocean view from the small patio! The beach was only a short walk away. My stay was very quiet and low key, the perfect opportunity to get away and just enjoy the ocean. Check in was smooth and enjoyable, very personable and friendly. I WILL be coming back!

I took my grandchildren here for a weekend. The cottage was very little in square footage, but it had everything we needed. It was decorated with cool hand made furniture. It had a nice size fridge and microwave. The owner was very friendly.
