Beautiful historic hotel. Really nice breakfast with fruit, several choices of main course. Beautiful plants. Very nice staff. Rooms at the front were noisy as the little street in front is pretty busy.

Unique and beautiful building. Really something special to see. Rooms can be a little noisy until the city quiets down for the night. The breakfast was excellent!

Room was basic, clean and old world charming. Ac was extra $10 bc we didn’t book it, but weather and window did not require it. Best hotel breakfast we had in all of Costa Rica. Alejandra was so kind and professional. Safe parking as well.

Magnificent historical building, delicious breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, excellent location (you can go to the airport by bus!) close to the Juan Santamaria Historical Cultural Museum and to some good restaurants, and at walking distance to the Mercado. Rooms are very clean but also very basic (there's no closet, no place to store your things or to hang your clothes; our TV didn't work). The bathroom has no shelves, or countertops to leave your toiletries. No hairdryer. While the shower has cold and hot water, the sink has only cold water (it wasn't a big deal for us, but I thought I should mention this).
