We went for a girls Staycation. None of us had been before, and it was perfect. The restaurant had delicious food, service was great, and atmosphere was lodge- like and cozy. The amenities were great from the gym to the outdoor hot tub. Bathrooms had all of the bathing supplies and were custom to the hotel. We will be back!

This place is stunning and big!! Very safe, everything is locked but easily accesible with your room key card and the parking lot is well lit. Located right on the salmon river, they have a walkway to it for guest use which is very pretty! It's about 2 hours from the Adirondacks, depending where you're going. They have a fire pit and free smores kits and cornhole games for guest use. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and so clean! Every staff member I encountered were so kind and helpful!! I'll definitely be back!

The Property is very nice and certainly stands out as High End especially for the immediate area. I wish the Restaurant wasn't so high priced for dinner, because the ambiance is very nice. That being said, I did not eat dinner there as I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, so I did not want to sample the dinner at the high dinner prices. I also did not use the pool or hot tub as they were both very crowded with so many kids. But both were very, very nice and if not crowded, I would have used them.

This property is 5 star, across the board. The attention to detail is top notch, especially by the maintenance staff. The only unfortunate aspect of this stay was a very strong odor of marijuana in the hallway, one evening, which lasted and permeated the rooms. It is supposed to be a no smoking property.

Absolutely loved our stay at Tailwater! The facilities are beautiful and clean, and the staff very professional and friendly. The restaurant served amazing food and the servers were efficient and friendly as well. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was worth the cost of the room! We look forward to another stay one day!

The restaurant was wonderful. Our waitresses, Takayla was outstanding! All the staff were friendly and courteous. The two rooms we were given needed maintenance. The first the ac wasn't working. The second the toilet and shower had issues. We were offered a 3rd room. My expectations for the hotel were very high. Very disappointed.

Oh where do I start... 1.Would not except tax exempt information because I booked thru 3rd party, but yet were able to hold and charge $25 incidentals and give me a final receipt....does your computer not subtract, only add? 2. Had to wear my coat in every part of the hotel, including my room, never went above 66 degrees. Saw hotel maintenance working all day long on fireplaces that never worked. 3. Your restaurant has "reservations only" to sit in the dining room in a chair. I am handicapped and couldn\'t climb onto the bar area stools to eat with the rest of the people at the conference. I had to order take out and eat alone in my room. Also no microwave in the room, apparently so you spend money at the restaurant! 4. Am handicapped and was told at check in where to go to my room---in another building. I asked of there were luggage carts at that location...she said yes right inside the door and told me what door to use and how to park close to it. I did as told and the luggage carts were way at the other end of the building. SO I lugged my stuff to the beautiful handicapped room located at the other side of the building, as far from conference area as it could be. No one, absolutely no one at any front desks offered to actually help me. It is very obvious that I am handicapped and needed accommodated - it is by law now, but your staff was apparently not aware.

Best place in stay in the Pulaski area. Staff were excellent, restaurant and bar facilities were excellent, rooms are clean! Quiet at night as well. This resort offers so much. Been going to this area to fish for years and never stayed...boy I am regretting it!

For several years I organized a 'guys trip' to go fishing. Last year it became a fiasco and I and another guy left early. So I found this place and my Son and I went with my other buddy and... we are already booked again for next year! Convenient, private section of river, excellent restaurant, not overly expensive and the food is superb. Being able to soak in a hot tub after standing in the river all day is amazing, and walking down the hall to an actual restaurant, not fast food or cooking and cleaning at an air bnb was worth it to us. The rooms were spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the fishing... my 9 year old son and i caught our limit in a few hours. This is our trip from now on!

The property was very pretty. Had issues with the shower not getting hot and our room was near a large party that was quite loud but at least they settled down toward the end of the night. There’s really not much to do and see in the area unless you’re a fisherman kinda person. We were there to visit friends so stayed overnight to explore the area so probably will not go again. The only thing cool there to us was Lake Ontario. We ended up driving an hour to the St. Lawrence River to tour Boldt Castle and that area instead.

Second time staying here while fishing in the area. Another great stay at the Tailwater and already have plans to come back this winter. Staff are all genuinely nice and everyone does their jobs well.

The only disappointment was the fact that the spa is very expensive and the sauna was not included. Coffee stations and amenities on each floor would have made things from very good to excellent. Little touches like silverware and glasses for guest use on each floor and coffee stations. But again the staff was top notch, very friendly and knowledgeable and made our stay a 9/10. Location was a 10/10. We loved the Salmon smokehouse,Rob's! The wings, vibe and service at Altmar hotel bar both walking distance. Highly recommend Tug Hill resorts for snowmobile rentals.. 20 minute drive but the 8 hours of superb fun! Knowledge staff and amazing trails. Joe and Natasha were excellent. We will be back

Family of four, we found Tailwater while looking for a place to view the solar eclipse. We were thrilled with the quality of the hotel - an amazing place run by professional and personable people. The hotel made great arrangements for eclipse viewing, offering dedicated areas and solar glasses for guests. The service was great, even with the challenges of the eclipse crowds. Amazing bar staff - very attentive and engaging. The grounds are expansive, with fishing, a walking trail, disc golf and plenty of open outdoor space - you can throw in a line or sign up for a special fishing experience with equipment and boats. There is a great game room with foosball, puck-board and giant Jenga and Connect Four, plus a large table and many board games with a large table and TV. There is an on-site spa and a pool/hot-tub - hot tub is just outdoors from the pool - great set up! This is a great destination for families, couples or individuals, we will definitely be back!
