I would say this is a 3 star+ but not 4. Pros: great location, good food, spa was nice, most of the staff was great, easy parking, quiet Cons: the bed was not great and caused both of us to have back pain, the pillows were flat and the pillow cases were weird (open at both ends), the room never really felt clean. The biggest problem we had was there was one young staff member in the dining room area who would roll her eyes and walk away mid-sentence if you didn't know how to speak Spanish (even though I was trying and she had no patience for me to type it in Google Translate when I didn't know the word). We saw her do the same to another table the next day and if we hadn't explained that "She just does that" they looked like they were getting upset. We thought maybe she doesn't have classic social skills and maybe could use some guidance. She never smiled and often glared at us and other patrons. Maybe she could say "Let me get someone else to help you" It made eating there rather awkward.

It was a nice hotel and good value except the charge for the dog was EUR 60 for 3 nights which seemed quite a bit. We were in a dog room which was ok but no view but think the normal rooms are nicer and have views. The receptionist was really nice.
