A great hotel in a amazing quirky little town. Hotel was clean and easily accessible. Pool was nice and outdoor drink service. Parking was easy, statf pleasant and polite and helpful. Only downfall is the hotel feels a bit dated. Really needs upgrading. Its a short walk upto the town. We learnt in the second day that theres actually a elevator take you upto the town. Saves you walking up the hill.

Everything comes with a price here. They charge water, corkscrew and won't allow you to checkout late, not even for 30 mins, unless you pay. My room is okay, but kind of old, and the spa can be recommended but I don't think the water is very clean. Good thing is that you can enjoy it almost empty in the morning, of course, if you paid for it.

We stayed here for 7 nights. The service throughout was excellent. Very helpful staff at reception and in the restaurants. All we're keen to help, and did so with a friendly manner. The room (upgraded from standard) was spacious and generally very practical (although a bedside table in both sides would be an improvement). The style is older/traditional but also very functional. On one night, the weather was cooler than normal and some heating in the room would have been more comfortable but it was still acceptable and perfectly good the rest of the week. Food and service at breakfast and dinner, were very good indeed. Again the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We used the spa every day. It has a very good range of jacuzzis, jets plus a sauna, steam room, a very warm pool and an 'icy' pool too. All very good. (€22/day if not part of your room cost). Plenty of free parking is available in the hotel grounds. Easily walkable to the town itself. It is quite a steep climb but there is also a lift from outside the town walls, up to the town gate. An excellent place to visit the town and surrounding area.

Voor de tweede keer in dit hotel. Zeer ruime kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Werd steeds goed aangevuld. Fijn zwembad met voldoende zonnebedjes. Er werd eindelijk eens op gelet dat men niet het bedje bezet hield dmv handdoekje leggen. Op loopafstand van het mooie oude centrum wat te bereiken is met een lift. Erg fijn verblijf gehad in het fantastisch mooie Rioja-gebied.

Voor de tweede keer in dit hotel. Zeer ruime kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Werd steeds goed aangevuld. Fijn zwembad met voldoende zonnebedjes. Er werd eindelijk eens op gelet dat men niet het bedje bezet hield dmv handdoekje leggen. Op loopafstand van het mooie oude centrum wat te bereiken is met een lift. Esperienza molto positiva in questo hotel che si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dal piccolo ma bel centro storico di Laguardia. Molto piacevole la piscina (seppure non molto grande), camera con tutti i comfort, gentilezza del personale. Colazione ottima. Parcheggio gratuito. Da consigliare sicuramente.

Hace años que no me alojaba en este hotel . Lo he encontrado envejecido, sin evolucionar; tan solo la barra de la cafetería mantiene el nivel gracias al buen hacer del encargado de barra, Miguel , un gran profesional El personal no tiene la simpatía, ni la cercanía que yo recordaba. Ni en recepción, ni en el buffet. Parece que están sobrepasados. La cocina tampoco tiene la calidad de antes. Las habitaciones del tercer piso, abuhardilladas, con unos ventanales de ojo de buey inaccesibles, sucios e incómodos , la hacen un tanto herméticas y difíciles de ventilar. El ascensor panorámico es muy lento y las esperas para subir o bajar se hacen largas. La cristalera merecía un repaso. Pero lo verdaderamente incómodo es el jardín de la piscina. Donde decenas de miles de moscas te impiden descansar, leer, o hacer cualquier otra cosa que estar continuamente quitándotelas de piernas, brazos y cara….El ruido de la carretera también disminuye el encanto ; y el aforo completo minora el espacio tanto de la pradera, como del vaso. Resultando pequeño todo cuando hay mucha gente.

Hôtel de standing et de style ancien sur 3 étages . A savoir les chambres du dernier étage ont un grand hublot a la place des fenêtres . Il y a un grand parking gratuit et un payant en sous sol. La piscine est magnifique et agréable en été le jardin est un plus. Le petit déjeuner est bon. l hôtel est proche du centre ville, il faut prendre l'ascenseur qui est en face du radar pour monter au centre ville historique. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour

La limpieza es buena y la atención del personal es amable, creo que sería muy bueno renovar el mobiliario de las habitaciones (Luce bastante Anticuado), otra cosa que me hubiera gustado es que la habitación contará con cafetera. El desayuno buffet está muy bien. La ubicación del hotel es bastante buena para visitar el pueblo de Laguardia ( que está espectacular) y las bodegas de la zona. En general una buena experiencia.

Hôtel de standing et de style ancien sur 3 étages . A savoir les chambres du dernier étage ont un grand hublot a la place des fenêtres . Il y a un grand parking gratuit et un payant en sous sol. La piscine est magnifique et agréable en été le jardin est un plus. Le petit déjeuner est bon. l hôtel est proche du centre ville, il faut prendre l'ascenseur qui est en face du radar pour monter au centre ville historique. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour

Estadia foi ótima, porém comi algo no café até não me fez bem. Pedi para ficar mais uma hora e me cobraram por isso. Mesmo o hotel estando em baixa lotação. Acho que deveriam ser mais flexível quando se trata de doença.

Everything comes with a price here. They charge water, corkscrew and won't allow you to checkout late, not even for 30 mins, unless you pay. My room is okay, but kind of old, and the spa can be recommended but I don't think the water is very clean. Good thing is that you can enjoy it almost empty in the morning, of course, if you paid for it.

We stayed here for 7 nights. The service throughout was excellent. Very helpful staff at reception and in the restaurants. All we're keen to help, and did so with a friendly manner. The room (upgraded from standard) was spacious and generally very practical (although a bedside table in both sides would be an improvement). The style is older/traditional but also very functional. On one night, the weather was cooler than normal and some heating in the room would have been more comfortable but it was still acceptable and perfectly good the rest of the week. Food and service at breakfast and dinner, were very good indeed. Again the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We used the spa every day. It has a very good range of jacuzzis, jets plus a sauna, steam room, a very warm pool and an 'icy' pool too. All very good. (€22/day if not part of your room cost). Plenty of free parking is available in the hotel grounds. Easily walkable to the town itself. It is quite a steep climb but there is also a lift from outside the town walls, up to the town gate. An excellent place to visit the town and surrounding area.

Bien en general, aunque la ubicación con respecto al centro no era ten buena al estar fuera de las murallas de Laguardia. No obstante mejoraba el tema con el ascensor panorámico que han puesto para facilitar la subida al pueblo.

The Silken Hotel Laguardia is very well situated near the bottom of the hill below Laguardia. It is only a 10-12 minute walk up the hill (hint, use the elevator to save yourself some of the climb). The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean. Mine was on the third floor with a good view out over the surrounding countryside and its many, many vineyards. The pool area was nice and the buffet breakfast good. Laguardia itself is wonderful, with many wine cellars or caves (literally, dug down below the buildings and streets). The mechanical clock in the small town square with traditional dancers is also not to be missed. Finally, the expansive views from the tree-shaded promenade all around the north end of the village are also special.

Front desk was very helpful on arrival. Very good parking area. Beds were comfortable. Ground floor room had it's own secluded patio which was a nice bonus. Short walking distance to the old town. Would stay there again.

Voor de tweede keer in dit hotel. Zeer ruime kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Werd steeds goed aangevuld. Fijn zwembad met voldoende zonnebedjes. Er werd eindelijk eens op gelet dat men niet het bedje bezet hield dmv handdoekje leggen. Op loopafstand van het mooie oude centrum wat te bereiken is met een lift. Erg fijn verblijf gehad in het fantastisch mooie Rioja-gebied.

Esperienza molto positiva in questo hotel che si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dal piccolo ma bel centro storico di Laguardia. Molto piacevole la piscina (seppure non molto grande), camera con tutti i comfort, gentilezza del personale. Colazione ottima. Parcheggio gratuito. Da consigliare sicuramente.

It was a nice hotel and good value except the charge for the dog was EUR 60 for 3 nights which seemed quite a bit. We were in a dog room which was ok but no view but think the normal rooms are nicer and have views. The receptionist was really nice.
