The junior suite room was in fantastic condition and to a very high standard. Private Pool wasn’t heated so that was a waste of hope as only a winter-bather would have enjoyed it. Breakfast was varied but service chaotic and inexperienced. Took 20 minutes before we could order our coffees, after having waited another 20 minutes without receiving them we simply left. Overall impression is that someone with means decided to go into the hotel business and lavished on build and finish but forgot to get experience in hospitality.

Peaceful and quiet area, nicely decorated clean and fresh room, friendly and excellent service 24/7, nice square with nice restaurants a short walk from the hotel. We had a very good time here! Only point of improvement is that there should be a toilet available closer to the pool area and to provide WiFi up there too :)

We liked the room design & the beds were comfortable. But these were the reasons I rated it a 3 star -the shower water escaped from the shower pan and cause the floor to flood having to use multiple towels to dry it everytime we took a shower. - they provided a nespesso machine which was a nice gesture but once it ran out of pods they charge more for a refill. -the pool was extremely small and the kids never wanted to use it after the 1st day we went up there. -the AC unit worked very good but it was a fixed blower and blew directly on your face , that’s more of a design issue. -the balcony was a facing the shaft way and it didn’t make it enticing to go outside because you would be starting into other rooms. Other then that the staff was very nice and hospitable and the brick oven pizza was delicious.

We had a family room which was quite spacious and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, we also had a mini fridge & coffee/tea station with stools. The roof top pool is nice but small and shallow. We had to cross the street to go for the pool as it was in the other building. Overall it was a nice stay and it was a pity we only stayed for one night.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Einziger Punkt der ein wenig die Vorfreude trübte…es wurde uns eine Woche vorher mitgeteilt, dass der Pool nicht beheizt war. Leider wurde das nirgendwo anders vorher erwähnt. Trotzdem waren wir drinnen und er war auch noch warm genug. Ansonsten im Großen gesehen ein toller Aufenthalt, gerne wieder

Très bel hôtel neuf et moderne. Un peu excentré du village de Xaghra mais calme. On nous a proposé une grande chambre avec petite pataugeoire privée très agréable mais la salle de bain était prévue pour handicapé et vraiment pas pratique pour personnes valides. Douche sans parois inonde la salle de bain et aucun meuble pour poser quoi que ce soit. Dommage car l’intention était gentille. Et la salle du petit déjeuner très mal agencée pour autant de clients de 2 bâtiments complets. On se bouscule on se gêne en passant entre les tables et le buffet n’est pas ravitaillé régulièrement. Appréciation de 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 à cause de cela. Dommage aussi

Kényelmes. Tiszta. A csapat nagyon kedves, segítőkész, recepciótól kezdve a reggeliztető csapaton át az esti felszolgálókig. A medence pici, de hűsítő. Zoli, a recepciós extra pont. Comfy. Clean. The team is outstanding, guest friendly and helpful, reception, breakfast team, waitresses and waiters. We had a lovely stay. The pool is small though lovely and perfect for a cool down. Zoltan was a great help.

Très bel hôtel avec une chambre propre et spacieuse. Piscine plutôt petite mais bienvenue après une journée découverte sous la chaleur. Attention ne pas oublier de se préenregistrer dès réception du mail de confirmation de l'hôtel afin de recevoir tous ces codes d'accès et gagner du temps à l'arrivée.

Tyvärr var det en distinkt lukt av svartmögel från badrummet och även sänggaveln, efter några nätter påverkades hela känslan av hotellet av det. Minimal tid spenderades därför på hotellet. Kallt ekande opersonlig inredning. Frukosten var 2/10, fanns få vegetariska alternativ. Mycket halvfabrikat och vitt bröd. Det skulle ganska lätt gå att öka frukosten standard genom att tex koka äggen så inte samtliga är hårdkokta, fylla på saltkaren på borden, se över möbleringen till en logisk lösning och ta in större variation. Gillar du 90 tals frukost i Sverige gillar du det här… det som drog upp betyget var att det fanns äpple, banan och apelsin. Personalen var vänliga.

Me and my wife had a planned get away from our kids and booked the Segond Hotel as a great treat to ourselves. It was quite a mixed bag and I will go through the good and bad below. Good: Location is brilliant, we had a beautiful nice walk down to Ramla Bay, we were close to everything we wanted to do and see, we had two lovely evenings in the square which was easily in walking distance. The lady at check in and out was very nice and polite. The Bad: The room smelled of smoke, despite being a non-smoking room it had an ashtray in the outside area and the door couldn't properly close when outside so clearly people regularly smoke and the room smelled of it, we told the reception and they didn't care. The pool is nice in concept, but lacks sun (so always cold) and not very usable. The service was terrible, first the smoke in the room, then we asked on our second day for a new milk and tea and were told it was at a surcharge as they "only provide for one day" even when staying more(I've never seen or heard of this and I've stayed all over the world in MANY hotels). The breakfast... We asked for a gluten free bread and they gave us moldy bread (very obviously), without appologizing or anything they then took it and as we were about to leave brought out a bunch more without us asking. The eggs were bad, the meat seemed rotten, and the service couldn't speak English or Maltese. Many beautiful options on Gozo and Malta, avoid here!

You get what you pay for. Bed is uncomfortable (could really use a mattress topper) and the hotel is right beside a church, whose bell sounds every 15 minutes from 5:30 - 22:00. No joke. It's impossible to sleep through. The breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant.

Nuovissimo albergo nell isola di Gozo, molto vicino alla spiaggia di Ramla bay. camere ampie dotate di ogni confort (anche se mancava il frigobar) Colazione ricca e varia sia dolce che salato. Brigitte alla reception parla italiano e si è dimostrata molto disponibile.

There's no reception, no restaurant and they are not pet friendly as advertised. When we arrived to an empty reception, we called the phone number at the desk and spent over an hour on the phone trying to convince them and sending them screenshots of my fully paid stay. The junior suite room was in fantastic condition and to a very high standard. Private Pool wasn’t heated so that was a waste of hope as only a winter-bather would have enjoyed it. Breakfast was varied but service chaotic and inexperienced. Took 20 minutes before we could order our coffees, after having waited another 20 minutes without receiving them we simply left. Overall impression is that someone with means decided to go into the hotel business and lavished on build and finish but forgot to get experience in hospitality.

Gréât place!!! Really clean and modern, very big room! Air con working perfect, equipped with a fridge to put things ie water, wine etc! very welcoming by staff and big shout out Ronald(GM) for making us feel like home and great Recommendations for places to see and visit! If it wasn’t for him our trip wouldn’t have been as good!!!!

The staff were friendly, professional, and went the extra mile to make us comfortable! We love Joanna and Joanna, as well as everyone else we encountered. The rooms were first rate, and the dipping pool was a bonus. Great breakfast, luggage storage, helpful suggestions- we couldn’t have asked for more. I would highly recommend the hotel as a home base for anyone visiting Malta- they can stay on Gozo and take day trips to the main island.

Me and my wife had a planned get away from our kids and booked the Segond Hotel as a great treat to ourselves. It was quite a mixed bag and I will go through the good and bad below. Good: Location is brilliant, we had a beautiful nice walk down to Ramla Bay, we were close to everything we wanted to do and see, we had two lovely evenings in the square which was easily in walking distance. The lady at check in and out was very nice and polite. The Bad: The room smelled of smoke, despite being a non-smoking room it had an ashtray in the outside area and the door couldn't properly close when outside so clearly people regularly smoke and the room smelled of it, we told the reception and they didn't care. The pool is nice in concept, but lacks sun (so always cold) and not very usable. The service was terrible, first the smoke in the room, then we asked on our second day for a new milk and tea and were told it was at a surcharge as they "only provide for one day" even when staying more(I've never seen or heard of this and I've stayed all over the world in MANY hotels). The breakfast... We asked for a gluten free bread and they gave us moldy bread (very obviously), without appologizing or anything they then took it and as we were about to leave brought out a bunch more without us asking. Very clean and organize and I was not expecting that breakfast was included, but the manager from Moroco (The Gentleman- sorry I didn’t get his name ) explained us during the check in that we have bf included, it’s surprises us . And bf was quit good and again nice service by the Manager with smiles that please us the most .it was worth for money . If there will be dinner option available then that will be great . We are very happy with our stay .. Room is very well organized with the amenity and online check save our time to spend on reception 👍 I will suggest to provide some drop and pick to main city to visit will bring more guest to the hotel .. we will Love 💕 to stay in future. We love the hotel 🏨 😘

Très bel hôtel neuf et moderne. Un peu excentré du village de Xaghra mais calme. On nous a proposé une grande chambre avec petite pataugeoire privée très agréable mais la salle de bain était prévue pour handicapé et vraiment pas pratique pour personnes valides. Douche sans parois inonde la salle de bain et aucun meuble pour poser quoi que ce soit. Dommage car l’intention était gentille. Et la salle du petit déjeuner très mal agencée pour autant de clients de 2 bâtiments complets. On se bouscule on se gêne en passant entre les tables et le buffet n’est pas ravitaillé régulièrement. Appréciation de 4 étoiles au lieu de 5 à cause de cela. Dommage aussi

There are no options for dining near this property hence ideally have a car as it would be time consuming waiting for and locating any public transport options. We liked the room design & the beds were comfortable. But these were the reasons I rated it a 3 star -the shower water escaped from the shower pan and cause the floor to flood having to use multiple towels to dry it everytime we took a shower. - they provided a nespesso machine which was a nice gesture but once it ran out of pods they charge more for a refill. -the pool was extremely small and the kids never wanted to use it after the 1st day we went up there. -the AC unit worked very good but it was a fixed blower and blew directly on your face , that’s more of a design issue. -the balcony was a facing the shaft way and it didn’t make it enticing to go outside because you would be starting into other rooms. Other then that the staff was very nice and hospitable and the brick oven pizza was delicious.

Tyvärr var det en distinkt lukt av svartmögel från badrummet och även sänggaveln, efter några nätter påverkades hela känslan av hotellet av det. Minimal tid spenderades därför på hotellet. Kallt ekande opersonlig inredning. Frukosten var 2/10, fanns få vegetariska alternativ. Mycket halvfabrikat och vitt bröd. Det skulle ganska lätt gå att öka frukosten standard genom att tex koka äggen så inte samtliga är hårdkokta, fylla på saltkaren på borden, se över möbleringen till en logisk lösning och ta in större variation. Gillar du 90 tals frukost i Sverige gillar du det här… det som drog upp betyget var att det fanns äpple, banan och apelsin. Personalen var vänliga.

I stayed with my family for 7 nights and we all really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff with warm welcome and easy check out. The breakfast was value for money, the room was very spacious and clean with comfy bed. We also had dinner few nights and the food was not bad-our child enjoyed the pool although I did not go in. The area very easy to move around with buses to Ramla beach, malsaforn, Victoria shopping mall and other places. My husband loved the outdoor sitting area especially at night. I will recommend and I will like to visit again.

The room was very big for 3 persons, we had 2 double beds. The room and all the common areas are very clean. Breakfast was good. Pool very small compared to the number of Rooms. There is no Restaurant or Bar in the Hotel so I suggest that a Vending Machine with some drinks and snacks will be available near the Breakfast Area.
