Hyatt Regency Ludhiana

Property and people were great and very grateful to the hotel front desk to give us a room on the eight floor with easy access to the gym which is on the eight floor. The only issue (if I were to point out one) was a bit of leakage in some spots on the eight floor. Not sure if this was due to the pool on top or the monsoon season or both. But other than that everyone and everything at this hotel is amazing. We choose to have a la carte meals as we were not hungry enough for the buffet, and the meal and service was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody visiting the city.

Took an hour to check in and internet down every time you try to pay.

Bar area could be kept cleaner. Bar counter cluttered with dirty dishes and glasses. Could use organization.

gym was amazing and so was the trainer Kundan.

Hotel look old ... far from 4 star or 5 star not much happening at the hotel ... quite boring place close to the Mall and not far to go and go shopping

The lobby, pool, and restaurant were very nice. The room we got needed updating.

Room was not clean. Power went out. USB plugs did not work… was forced to buy an adapter.

The property is not cleaned properly, they will try to assign you super unclean room with stained carpet and unclean tables, so I immediately asked that the room be changed and they did so to the one with hardwood floors, Alas! The floor was not cleaned but still better. On the next day the key card was not working so had to go and get it activated. The shocking fact is that they will try to assign you the dirty rooms as default, so that they can assign the clean ones to people who complain about it, not what I expect from a 4.5 stars restaurant.

Nice hotel and good size room. But air conditioning wasn’t working and had to be fixed, the corridors have mould and are dirty, and the carpet in the room was dirty.

Awesome rooms. Amazing terrace on rooftop with pool. Awesome customer service and top notch restaurant

Not what I would expect of a 4 Star hotel Carpets in room were stained, hallway walls stained. Overall it felt unclean

This place has serious moisture issues. Walls have lot of moisture making tiles in the bathroom de-coloration. The room was very humid we could smell mold.

The check in process was very long. The staff told us that it will take 10 minutes to have the room ready. After multiple inquiries, it took them 2 hours to get the room ready. We found cockroach in the room.

Hyatt Regency Ludhiana used to be a very good property. I have had a chance to stay at the hotel on multiple occasions, however, this time, my experience was horrible. The rooms are dirty. The carpets are super unhygienic and smell horrible. I was scared of stepping barefoot, thinking it may actually give me an infection. Also, the service was bad. I think their teams were busy with two wedding groups at the hotel, which led to a massive service quality issues. My room had no towels when I checked in. I requested front desk/housekeeping at least three times over a course of two hours for towels, which never arrived. Every time I called them, I got a response saying that a boy is already on his way with the towels. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere. Hyatt Regency Ludhiana really disappointed me, and I will think twice in future before booking the hotel.

When we were checking in, all the staff seemed to be too busy doing nothing to help with us unloading bags and taking them up to the room. When they noticed my family and I unloading and carrying them up to our room, they came over to try and help. At this point I was already a few feet from the elevators and continued on our own. In the 2 rooms that we booked many things were broken or not working. Since we had 2 rooms, we just used what we needed in the room that it worked in. We had maintenance come up and review a few things and the rest were just inconveniences. They couldn't change out a broken fridge in one of the rooms so that wasn't ideal. The room wasn't very clean. When looking at everything from a first glance, it was clean, however, when you move the sofa a bit or look into the cushions, there was a lot of dust and materials not cleaned up. Floors always felt a little dirty. Expected more from this stay.

Spotless room and great staff

Musty smelling and poor standard room inspite of having bo.oked in Club class. Staff are poorly trained. After complaining repearedly they changed the room as the musty smell was aggravating my allergy

During my extensive travels through Sri Lanka and India, which included stays in over 12 hotels boasting 4 and 5-star facilities, my experience at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, Punjab, was unfortunately far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was greeted by well-spoken and friendly front desk staff Komal. However, the promise of a luxurious experience quickly faded when I entered my allotted room, which was subpar even by basic standards. The room appeared neglected and poorly maintained, akin to accommodations found in a railway station rather than a reputable hotel chain like Hyatt. After raising my concerns with the manager Rishi on duty and being promised a "better room," the subsequent room provided was marginally improved but still lacked cleanliness and attention to detail. The presence of moisture in the bedding led to discomfort for my wife, who experienced allergies necessitating medication. Despite assurances from the manager regarding rectifying the cleanliness and drainage issues, the follow-up was lacking, with the room not being properly attended to until late afternoon. Furthermore, attempts to extend my stay were met with uncompetitive rates compared to online platforms, and the promised assistance from Mr. Ram via phone was unfulfilled. Additionally, the property showed signs of neglect and insufficient maintenance, with visible damages throughout various areas. In summary, my stay my stay at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana fell short of expectations.

The rooms were smelling like bleach. The tv remote wasn’t working. The food was cold and most importantly delay of service.

Ac was not working properly, it was very hot. There was no contacts for room service available to call anyone in room.

I booked the executive suite for my brother. Him and his wife got married earlier that day. My cousin and I went to the counter 4 hours earlier to request the room be decorated with flowers, some chocolates, and champagne. The person at the counter made a phone call and then said okay it will be done. When we came to the hotel with my brother and and his wife, we got them checked in and headed to the room. They literally had put 9-10 fake leafs and 2 towels together. That is it. They didn’t put any chocolates and champagne. Extremely disappointed. The manager was ZERO help. He instead called the EMPLOYEE during her non-working hours around 1 o clock in the morning instead of taking responsibility as a manager to help resolve the issue. Terrible manager.

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had staying in any property, we constantly got given the wrong food orders and had to wait for over an hour at a time and when we ask to speak to the night manager (Rishi) he sent the head chef and was nowhere to be seen for over an hour. On our last night my fiancé was in the room as we were going to a religious temple at 3am and again the manager (Rishi) told us we had to leave as my fiancé who was staying at her families address wasn’t carrying her visa. We sent copies of passports but was told at midnight that security expected her to leave. The staff are very rude and the managers are not helpful at all!!! Avoid at any cost!!!!

Excellent customer service, especially from Sidhant who upon realising an issue that I had, dealt with it in a very professional and respectful manner.

A very good, satisfying stay. The product is very good quality and delivering it are some very professional people. We departed with a very good feeling and would like to return some day. A special mention of Manjot Bellman, Ramandeep & Saphi from the All Day Dining Restaurant , Rishi Rout Front Office & Imran from Housekeeping who took such good care of us. Highly competent employees these.
