Clarion Inn Elmira-Horseheads

No one at front desk checking in or out. Charged me double for 150 new maintenance fee for damages?!!! Added 150 to my room fee of 238 And On top of that a separate 150!!! Both charges need to come off. Manager argued with me. Laundry piled up up and down halls, and place looks deserted.

Staff was pleasant and helpful but the hotel is location is in a bad area and the hotel is outdated. You get what you pay for with this hotel, I would not book here again.

The hotel rooms were extremely outdated and the location is directly across from a questionable neighborhood. The first of our 2 rooms had clearly been smoked in. The staff was helpful and pleasant but the rooms were so bad that we left that hotel and went to another one on Horseheads.

The first room had no heat. The next day they gave us a different room and someone had just used the bathroom. It smelt like feces and men’s hello. Had to ask for another room. The girl behind the desk had to go clean the room while we waited. Bath room fixtures were broken. Not to mention pulled up to screaming and then cops. I will never stay there again.

I booked 2 wheelchair accessible rooms and upon arrival after a long 5 hour drive with children we were sent to non accessible rooms. We went down and asked for the accessible rooms, the desk agent started yelling. He sent us to 2 more rooms, non accessible. Went back and said they weren’t accessible to which he started cursing and yelling at us. He said this hotel doesn’t update online and it’s not his responsibility. He offered us a dirty king size accessible room with no heat. We were so beyond upset and exhausted. Don’t attempt to stay here. We weren’t even able to get a refund.
