The hotel overall is quite nice. The water pressure was amazing. Showers after a day's work were a dream. The rooms were quaint, clean, and just enough. The area around the hotel is in development so I would not advise walking at night, but I always felt safe within the hotel boundaries and adjoining property (coffee place). I would stay here again.

Pool is open until 11pm and right outside your door which means kids and adults screaming and partying until late at night. Dog area is just green outdoor carpet on pavement in direct sunlight and you can’t even stand on it because the urine smell is so bad. Saw lady’s walking on it with bare feet. Yuck! Breakfast for the entire hotel is one microwave, one waffle iron and one coffee pot, which all had long lines every morning to use. No good restaurants around, only homeless and sketchy places. The parking lot felt secure, not sure about that.

Excellent reception (Brandon), clean and good sized room w/ king bed. Coffee maker, fridge, m/w, and tv all worked well. Pool looked great, although I didn't try it. Only minus was mattress was harder than we like.

I would definitely stay here again! Had a pool and laundry I used. Both clean and private. Room was spacious and had all the amenities I like. Did not try the breakfast but happy it was included.

Everything was really good apart from the wi-fi signal at times,the best hotel we've had on this holiday, plenty of items for breakfast, swimming pool was a surprise, for an outdoor pool the water was warm.Recommended.

The hotel was nicely updated and very, very clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is a little sketchy. Some unsavory characters walked around the parking lot and made me uneasy. Around dusk, someone banged on my door. I didnt sleep that well thinking my car would get broken into or people would bang on my door again. I really liked the cleanliness of the hotel, but wouldnt stay there again because of the bad location.

Overall, we were satisfied. the breakfast was good. Thinkgs for improvement: have dispensers for shampoo, etc to save on plastics. The sink water got hot, but the shower not much. There was some hair and smudges on the bedspread.

There were only two hotels with outdoor pools in Yakima. Hotel Y looked like a nice hotel online but it was not in the best area. The room had a smell, a few gnats were in the room, the towels did not smell freshly cleaned. I will not be staying there again.

I will start this review by saying we generally stay in slightly nicer accommodations so take what I say with that in mind. Check in was prompt and friendly. Our room was on the ground floor and we were able to park right in front of our room, making access very easy. The hotel seems new and everything inside and out is in good shape and clean. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. My only real “complaint” is the bathroom is small and felt cramped. They have a Kegrig coffee maker so you can bring your favorite pods.

I would love to give this property a 5 star rating BUT there is one issue. They do not have carpeted floors sooooo you will hear every single movement above your head. For two nights in a row, we got to hear some insomniacs rolling an office chair above our heads and pacing at 3 am. Please carpet your upstairs!!! Otherwise, the place is so cute, clean, and the best value in Yakima! Bring your ear plugs! Not quiet:(

Overall nice hotel. A little warned out but clean where it matters. The desk chair needs deep cleaning to remove spill stains. All movements of the neighbors from the floor above are very audible.

Happy that their designated pet rooms don’t have carpet. Both the front desk agent and manager were super nice and accommodating. So grateful they were willing to help me with a situation with my pet. The property itself was in good condition. Only not so great things (for me) were the desk chair was dirty (stained), the AC never felt like it was on or blowing properly (always felt a little humid), and I did find a few hairs in the bathroom (but I know it’s nearly impossible to catch them all when cleaning). Good things were big, comfy bed, big TV. Oh they free cookies and refreshments in the lobby when I checked in; and breakfast in the morning (can’t rate because I didn’t have any). The nearby area is pretty sketch (omw to McDonalds I saw quite a bit of people that appeared to be under the influence of drugs or mentally ill). Wouldn’t say it was dangerous per se, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around after sunset. The hotel was really close to the highway exit so near a hill so the hotel property itself and next to it did feel less sketch than if you walked up a block or two, approaching the downtown area.

Our check in with Brandon was a great start to our excellent stay. Brandon was professional, efficient, informative and friendly. The complex was very attractive and nicely landscaped. Our room was wonderful! It was large, clean, stylish and very comfortable with in room coffee and fridge. We very much enjoyed the delicious breakfast with ample yummy options and then were delighted to be checked out by fantastic Brandon. All this at a great price. Highly recommend!

It was so loud you can hear everything from the room above or next to you. Around 5am other guests had their kids outside the rooms running around we kept walking up. Not ideal for a relaxing trip for the weekend. Staff was so unprofessional the person checking in kept talking to the other staff and having personal conversations while I wait to check in. She then typed my card incorrectly and being distracted talking to her coworkers and not focusing. Not once did we get greeted or friendly.

I was given a key to an occupied room. Very embarrassing encounter. The accommodation I was subsequently provided with was 2 queens instead of the king I had planned for with my partner. Hotel was very reasonably priced and the amenities in the room were solid. However, immediately after checking in, we found that the latch for our door was quite loose and - while the door would close and lock, it would be loose even when closed. We requested to move to a different room and were told all other rooms were booked. We were told that someone would come to fix the door before that night. This did not happen.

We tried to call to cancel our reservations SEVEN DIFFERENT TIMES. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE THERE. We ended up paying for a night we Never got! We had to go thru a 3rd party to finally cancel our 2nd night! Horrible customer service!

Property was exactly as described, and exactly what I expected for what I paid. Overall fairly clean (although friends said their room was dirty). Staff was really friendly and attentive. We even left an item in our room at checkout and they immediately called and had it shipped to us. Our kids had fun at the pool and the pool area was nice to sit around with friends. Breakfast was good and enjoyed the little coffee shack across the parking lot. Neighborhood surrounding hotel is not good, do not suggest trying to take a walk or walking to nearby restaurants.

The hotel was fine, super clean, room was great, staff were helpful and provided great service. The breakfast was super good as well. The location is close to the freeway but we didn't hear any traffic noise. There is a very large homeless presence just a block or two away. That area, only a block or so away, seemed run down and dirty. NOTE: We had ZERO problems during our stay, but at the same time were quite surprised by what we saw, given that the hotel was great.

This is an impressive remodel of an older motel, we loved all the finishes, very comfortable bed and bedding. The included breakfast was great and location off highway was convenient for getting around to wineries and the sights of the Yakima valley. Only negative was the area between hotel and downtown area seemed run down and seedy, but we had no problems.

I feel bad for the owners. They totally re did the property (made it nice) and the City of Yakima allowed the homeless drug addicts to set up shop on the sidewalks and surrounding businesses.(worse than Seattle and Portland) Human excrement on the sidewalks, all the local restaurants closed down....it's not near downtown...the nearest open restaurant is about 2.5 miles away. AC unit was very loud, employees though were very nice...they did keep exterior parking lot lights on...was worried that my rental car would be missing the wheels in the morning.
