Just a ratty little place found cockroaches in the parking lot alot of damaged drywall. Beds were mediocre at best blackest felt like window curtains. Only thing good was the pool water was clean and their was hot water

We arrived and checked in with no problem. Staff was friendly. The pool wasn’t operating and that really disappointed us as we were looking forward to it and one of the reasons why we stayed there. The other big issue was ants we had to change rooms due to ants literally covering the desktop in the room. We took a nap and woke up to the ants invading the room they were also on the walls, by the air conditioner and I found some in the bed. After we changed rooms our stay was good it was nice and quiet the hotel just needs some updating. However I don’t think we would stay here again.

It was hideous (Dexter Inn) walls looked like they were patched not painted and it smelled horrible, I went to the store and bought incense to help the smell, The TV and stand were so dusty someone wrote wash me, and it wasn't me, so needless to say it was from the last people, and no one cleaned it. Safety was an issue, The doors going inside is just open, the locks were not working so anyone can walk inside those doors. It was next to a dispensary, and it was busy even people at the hotel who looked like residents weekly paid so with some cleaning and patience and please get some air in those halls it smells, and it was hot having to walk upstairs. The lady working at the desk was very nice and helpful so that was the plus staying there.

First the room we get into the microwave doesn’t work. The 2nd night there we got moved to another room. That room was ok but in neither room did we have hot water. The breakfast was terrible. Only choice in food is waffles, chocolate donuts and cereal. They had no hot water in there either so anyone wanting coffee had to have cold and heat in that microwave. Also we get there and they have a sign up pool closed for season. It didn’t mention that online when I reserved it. I would Not recommend going to this hotel

The sink had ants in it. The mirror was filthy. There was only 1 towel for 3 people. The girl at the desk gave us towels. Nothing looked clean. Only breakfast food was waffles, bread, small donuts and apples.

The front of our parking space was full of cigarette buts. Went to get a shower pulled back the curtain and there was hair on the wall. Carpet was dirty. We left and went to the Travel Lodge. My brother dented a room also my sister in law said there was hair on their shower wall to. Pulled out a chair to sit on and there were only 3 wheels on it.

I paid almost $400 for 2nights- only to have nothing in my room work. Mattresses had blood on them. Rooms were disgusting. Not vacuumed. No toilet paper. Breakers kept blowing. Everything would shut off. Towels had stains.. Refrigerators wouldn’t work. Let just say I’m so happy I didn’t have a blue light.! My room smelled like a dirty ashtray. I can camp for days on end.. but there’s a difference between dirt and filth.!!

The staff was friendly. The hotl has seen better days. The whole place could use a deep cleaning. There were signs posted that said no smoking of any kind but there was a strong pot smell down the hall. The air was off in our room when we got to it. Nothing like walking into a room that is 80 degrees. The floor in the bathroom was dusty. Stains on bedding. Breakfast was not appealing.

The place was NOT clean at all. There was hair on the beds sheet. Shower was not clean. Very dirty place. We had a friend get bit 3 times by a spider that I am assuming was in her bed because she woke up with them. There is a weed shop right next door and when we came back from dinner the hole place smelled like it.

We need a stop on our cross country move and this location was a good place for a break. The room was comfortable and it was nice to see the freshly painted walls and a few updates in the bathroom. While an older establishment it was clean. Ricky at the front desk was very pleasant and willing to assist anyway possible.

The staff at Dexter Inn is very pleasant my room every evening when I come back was cleaned and made up the floor was taken care of fresh towels, and the smell was wonderful around the whole hotel. I definitely recommend if you’re traveling this is a place to stop.

First off checking was horrible. I had a room reserved and they gave me the wrong room with a dirty extra bed in a king bed room. They also at check out told me not to come back or my gf because they said the towels were dirty an also bothered us the entire stay

We stayed at this hotel for the total solar eclipse. It was completely booked and staff still made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. We had a small issue getting the AC to work in our room and within five minutes someone was in our room helping us. Breakfast had variety as well as juice and coffee. When we asked for ice later in the day the lady at the front desk made sure we had plenty. They allowed us to place our lawn chairs in the front grassy area for eclipse viewing. This hotel is a bit older than some but is well taken care of. We found the Dexter Inn to be inviting and wonderful for our family. We would gladly stay here again.

I had heard bad things about this place. I found no bugs or drugs.. The staff was very nice. It is an old building but for and over night stay it was good. I would stay here again. It is by a local Walmart!

For the cost, I cannot complain. I do not mind to stay in a place like this by myself as I am a traveling salesman. Absolutely would not stay with my family if we happened to be passing through. Upon arrival the main level appears to be clean and well kept. The second floor that I stayed on was a different story. The stairwell was incredibly dirty as was the hallway leading to my room. In my room the bedding was clean as were towels, carpet was dirty in all corners, the cloth chairs in room were stained and extremely outdated. Bathroom had no trim at all and needs updated. I’m ok with old, not ok with old and cruddy. Again as a solo traveler who can avoid touching everything in sight it’s ok for the price. If my kids were there I would have an anxiety attack trying to keep them from touching stuff! Breakfast area was clean and provided make your own waffles which is always good so no complaints there.

Was convenient to our weekend plans. Linens were clean but dingy. Mattress was ok. Towels were small and thin. The facility seemed generally l rundown and lights in hall were dimly lit. My husband said he actually saw a bird inside the building. Breakfast consisted of pancakes or waffles, cold cereal, coffee, juice and bread to toast. You could help yourself to a large jar or peanut butter and another of jelly for your toast. We choose to eat breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Can’t believe this place received 4 stars on trip advisor.
