Im Prospekt wird mit einem Biergarten und einem Restaurant geworben. Beides ist geschlossen. Das Restaurant hat von Montag bis Donnerstag Ruhetag. Der Biergarten besteht aus 3 Tischen, ziemlich gammelig, Getränke gibt es keine... Scheinbar hat der Besitzer gewechselt.

The hotel was good and it is close to the nearby castles and other attractions. I was not a fan of their breakfast methodology or taste. Not having an elevator at the property gave me a workout getting everybody in my party's luggage up and down the stairs. So, if you have limited mobility beware of this. Other than that, it was a very comfortable room.

This hotel is very….rustic. It MAY be charming in winter, but in summer it is an absolute no go. It is extremely hot in the rooms and there are no fans provided. The rooms themselves are tiny including the tv (one room was a computer screen). The shower is also tiny - think of showering in a phone booth. I had to leave it open because I felt too closed in. The light fixtures in the rooms were very dusty as well, the pillows were relatively non-existent, the sheets were not switched out to cooler sheets to accommodate for the heat, and the front desk staff was generally unpleasant and unhelpful. The breakfast staff was pleasant and helpful, though the breakfast itself is basically continental breakfast options only. A car is a must as it is not close to the village or the castle, though we did see one bus stop that you could take into town. WiFi was also not good. No place to take business calls available either. We will not be returning there.

We loved staying in the quaint town right off the main road. Check in was very easy as was parking. The hotel is very quiet an private. Perfect for hanging out outdoors in the evenings. The swings with the view of the castle was the best. The room was very comfortable but a bigger pillow would be great. We would stay here again!

Beautiful rural area on small lake—family run small hotel—lovely! Wonderful restaurant in the hotel—great breakfast and dinner! Older hotel o no air conditioning or phone chargers but would highly recommend!

Quaint little bed and breakfast - very calm and serene, with the sounds of horses knickering at night. It's close and convenient if visiting the castles of Neuschwanstein - but know that it's a little remote. There's a restaurant on site, but you should call ahead to make a reservation. We arrived at dinner time and they could not accommodate us so we had to drive into town to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was good though.

Waited at the front desk several different times to speak with someone, both morning and evening, and could never find anyone available to talk to. Wifi is terrible. One plus- Location is beautiful.

The staff were friendly and the location is ideal for local attractions, with convenient parking. I cannot recommend the single room however. Located in a high-traffic area, next to the guest entrance, kitchen and common area, there is constant noise and smells in the room. There is also a rotating leaflet stand directly outside the room door so you would regularly have fellow guests standing within your doorway, chatting loudly. The single small window opens onto the car park and bins. The room itself was in poor condition, with filthy walls, dusty surfaces & damaged furniture. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, clearly having seen better days. Not worth the price paid and very irritating given how obviously poor the room condition was.

Das Zimmer war immer sauber, die Frühstückszeit ab 08:00 Uhr war zwar für mich als geschäftlich Reisende etwas spät, aber da es einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Schrank auf dem Zimmer gab, konnte ich mich auch so gut versorgen.

Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen und dient als guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Die Zimmer sind gross und erfüllen ihren Zweck. Folgendes könnte verbessert werden: Die Lampe bei uns im Zimmer hing sehr tief, sodass wir des öfteren dagegen gelaufen sind. Im Bad fehlt in der Dusche an Ablagefach für selbst mitgebrachtes Duschgel und Shampoo. Das Frühstück könnte schon um 7h starten, denn wenn man eine Wanderung plant, möchte man meistens früh unterwegs sein. Beim Fernseher auf dem Zimmer hatten manche Programme keinen Ton. Ansonsten hat eigentlich alles gepasst. Auch das Frühstück war gut.

Opholdet var ikke fint for kloakken fra badet var tilstoppet så bade kunne man kun i 1 minut før at det løb ud på gulvet. Værelset var placeret ud til plads med ryger bord så åbent vindue var ikke muligt. Generelt ikke acceptabelt da aften festerne også blev afholdt der med støj det meste af aftenen. Som silver medlem var det ikke en god oplevelse samlinger med andre gode ophold.

We arrived late after getting lost hiking in the dark, then being unable to get the car out of the parking lot. Dinner was over, sidewalks were rolled up, and we were starving. Had we asked for leftovers (dinner smelled heavenly) am certain they would have helped us out. That is how lovely these people, and their lodging, are. We had food in the car, and ate in the comfort of a large, beautiful room over-looking what we discovered was a peaceful, serene lake. We would stay there again n a heartbeat.

The couple who run the hotel were very welcoming and helpful with our lack of German. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Ideally situated for visiting the local castles

I had a Fantastic two-night stay here, I wished it had been longer. I had a large family room, certainly bigger than I needed but I immensely enjoyed anyway. Everything was great with the Internet sognal strong, a comfortable bed. The bath was great with plenty of hot water. The room also has a small refrigerator and an electric kettle which is rare in Europe. Plenty of Walk/run/cycle tracks on the doorstep too. I hope to stay here again and highly recommend it.

The property was part of a farming community very close (short walk) to the Forggensee. The room was awesome, the area was very quiet and provided a country atmosphere. You could see horses and cows right from your room. The meals at the restaurant at the hotel were very traditional German dishes. The meals were as good as any we had on our entire trip. The walk by the Forggensee was quite enjoyable. The staff were helpful and spoke English. Access to all the popular tourist sites in the Fussen area was within 45 mins. You could see the Neuschwanstein Castle(Schloss) from the hotel. There was local bus service close by. We travelled two weeks in Europe and would rate this our favorite hotel.

The walk by the Forggensee was quite enjoyable. The staff were helpful and spoke English. Access to all the popular tourist sites in the Fussen area was within 45 mins. You could see the Neuschwanstein Castle(Schloss) from the hotel. There was local bus service close by. We travelled two weeks in Europe and would rate this our favorite hotel.

The staff were friendly and the location is ideal for local attractions, with convenient parking. I cannot recommend the single room however. Located in a high-traffic area, next to the guest entrance, kitchen and common area, there is constant noise and smells in the room. There is also a rotating leaflet stand directly outside the room door so you would regularly have fellow guests standing within your doorway, chatting loudly. The single small window opens onto the car park and bins. The room itself was in poor condition, with filthy walls, dusty surfaces & damaged furniture. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, clearly having seen better days. Not worth the price paid and very irritating given how obviously poor the room condition was.

This hotel is very….rustic. It MAY be charming in winter, but in summer it is an absolute no go. It is extremely hot in the rooms and there are no fans provided. The rooms themselves are tiny including the tv (one room was a computer screen). The shower is also tiny - think of showering in a phone booth. I had to leave it open because I felt too closed in. The light fixtures in the rooms were very dusty as well, the pillows were relatively non-existent, the sheets were not switched out to cooler sheets to accommodate for the heat, and the front desk staff was generally unpleasant and unhelpful. The breakfast staff was pleasant and helpful, though the breakfast itself is basically continental breakfast options only. A car is a must as it is not close to the village or the castle, though we did see one bus stop that you could take into town. WiFi was also not good. No place to take business calls available either. We will not be returning there.

Die Lage ist super, direkt am Ufer vom Forggensee und nur ein paar km von den Schlössern entfernt. In Laufnähe ist auch ein Super Restaurant. Für ein paar Tage und den Preis OK.

We loved staying in the quaint town right off the main road. Check in was very easy as was parking. The hotel is very quiet an private. Perfect for hanging out outdoors in the evenings. The swings with the view of the castle was the best. The room was very comfortable but a bigger pillow would be great. We would stay here again!

It's close and convenient if visiting the castles of Neuschwanstein - but know that it's a little remote. There's a restaurant on site, but you should call ahead to make a reservation. We arrived at dinner time and they could not accommodate us so we had to drive into town to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was good though.

Im Prospekt wird mit einem Biergarten und einem Restaurant geworben. Beides ist geschlossen. Das Restaurant hat von Montag bis Donnerstag Ruhetag. Der Biergarten besteht aus 3 Tischen, ziemlich gammelig, Getränke gibt es keine... Scheinbar hat der Besitzer gewechselt.

The hotel was good and it is close to the nearby castles and other attractions. I was not a fan of their breakfast methodology or taste. Not having an elevator at the property gave me a workout getting everybody in my party's luggage up and down the stairs. So, if you have limited mobility beware of this. Other than that, it was a very comfortable room.

Sehr nettes Personal Überragende Küche am Abend und interessantes Frühstück (Bestell Buffet). Beider sehr gut Im Restaurant wird so ziemlich alles selber gemacht. Das schmeckt man auch. Zu Fuß ist man in ca 1,5h beim Schloss.

Ok everything was good I had no problems. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean. The most difficult part was there were no elevators to take me upstairs had to carry all my bags several trips.

We arrived late after getting lost hiking in the dark, then being unable to get the car out of the parking lot. Dinner was over, sidewalks were rolled up, and we were starving. Had we asked for leftovers (dinner smelled heavenly) am certain they would have helped us out. That is how lovely these people, and their lodging, are. We had food in the car, and ate in the comfort of a large, beautiful room over-looking what we discovered was a peaceful, serene lake. We would stay there again n a heartbeat.
