This place is an absolute gem and would recommend it to all including friends and family. The location is very convenient for restaurants, shops, wineries and everything else. The property is very quaint with superb decor with wonderful little touches - like homemade treats, complimentary drinks. The staff are all very helpful and can't do enough for you. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, to set you up for the day!! Will definitely return when next in Franschook.

Be very careful the property is not maintained and the outside area is extremely dirty . The pool was so murky you couldn’t see the bottom , the staff blamed the wind but it was certainly a lot more than wind causing the dirt and debris around the property . Maintenance is a major problem for them . The manager cindy promised a refund for our last night when we decided to check out early due to the problems, two months later I am still waiting . There is plenty more Places to chose from , I would avoid this place at all cost

Short & easy walk to Franschhoek where you can find restaurants & shopping. This little gem is a clean and well cared for property, the pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. We had an amazing stay at Ashbourne Guest House! Courtney and Cindy greeted us with a glass of wine and made us feel at home right away. The room was very spacious and clean. The fridge was stocked with many different choices and there were snacks available in the room too (both for purchase). Breakfast in the morning is freshly made baked goods, fruits, meats, cheeses and a full hot menu to choose from (including dim sum of all things!). The B&B is walking distance to both the main street and the wine tram. It’s safe at night and load shedding wasn’t an issue as they have generators. We stayed in the poolside room and would recommend anyone stay there. It’s a very peaceful and quiet B&B.

Die Zimmer sind voller Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Es gibt regionale Produkte zum Frühstück sowie regionale Dusch-Utensilien. Freie Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus, super Tipps vom Gastgeber und fußläufig ist alles zu erreichen. Unter anderem die Restaurants und die Wine Tram. Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und es allen Freunden und Familie ans Herz legen. Danke für diese wahrlich schöne Zeit bei euch. Macht weiter so! Wir kommen wieder.

The suite was very comfortable with a good size bedroom and nice sitting room. Breakfast was very good with a variety of food options. The location is on a quiet street but still very close to the main street in town. The staff was very helpful and the owner present on site. He was able to give us advice on a nice wine farm walking tour and suggestions for travel to our next stop. We indefinitely will stay here again on our next trip to Franschhoek.

Ok äldre hotell med bra sängar men knarrande golv. Wi-fi fungerade inte under 75% av vår vistelse på 2 dagar. Frukost ok men kunde vara lite rikligare. Mycket småplock. Bra gångavstånd till centrum och ligger i ett lugnt område.

Close to tram station and 5minute walk to the Main Street. Staff friendly although hard to find at times. Room ran out of hot water for a shower. Tea not replaced. Room tired. Breakfast was ok.

This place is an absolute gem and would recommend it to all including friends and family. The location is very convenient for restaurants, shops, wineries and everything else. The property is very quaint with superb decor with wonderful little touches - like homemade treats, complimentary drinks. The staff are all very helpful and can't do enough for you. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied, to set you up for the day!! Will definitely return when next in Franschook.

We had an amazing stay at Ashbourne Guest House! Courtney and Cindy greeted us with a glass of wine and made us feel at home right away. The room was very spacious and clean. The fridge was stocked with many different choices and there were snacks available in the room too (both for purchase). Breakfast in the morning is freshly made baked goods, fruits, meats, cheeses and a full hot menu to choose from (including dim sum of all things!). The B&B is walking distance to both the main street and the wine tram. It’s safe at night and load shedding wasn’t an issue as they have generators. We stayed in the poolside room and would recommend anyone stay there. It’s a very peaceful and quiet B&B.

Lovely place to stay. The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we need. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s an ideal location from the centre of the town and easy access to the wine tram. We would definitely stay here again.

The guesthouse is gorgeous, our room was lovely, spacious and immaculate. Check in was easy and the hotel staff were lovely and accommodating! Great location for the tram and walking into the town. Highly recommend!
