Days Inn by Wyndham Ozark Springfield

Apparently the maintenance man walked off job. The hot tub was down due to heater down. The inside pool was freezing. The stool in our room would flush. When reported they acted like they didn't understand. When I told her it needed plunged, she handed me a plunger. When the plunger didn't work she sent different plunger down. I bought liquid plumber and plunged it again.

Showed up with four kids ready to swim on their spring break. Was told the pool was in spa was working when I booked it and when I went to check in, got to the room went to the pool and there was ice on top of the pool and the spa was broken. Staff wouldn’t answer the phone when Expedia called to give me my refund so I could go to a hotel with a working pool.

The stay was great we loved it. Affordable yet nice. The pool and hot tub was really clean and nice to relax in. We also had a nice king size room with plenty of room for our grandson to play.

Only reason we booked was for the hot tub and pool. The pool and hot tub were ice cold. We addressed the staff and the issue was never fixed nor wouls they give us a direct answer as if it would be fixed during our stay.

Decor is a bit dated. Hallway carpets need replaced. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were nice. Overall had no issues, but the place could use a little TLC to take it up a tier for local hotels.

All soda machines were down no breakfast bathroom ceiling was pealing and you had to notify the front desk attendant to be able to turn the hot tub on every 15 minutes

We were disappointed that the hot tub was under construction, so the pool wasn't heated. No coffee pot in the room, so we had to go to the lobby for coffee. The staff was friendly and responsive. The location and facility felt safe.

The motel was mostly clean except for some hairs in the shower and bathroom sink. There were spare tires and unboxed air conditioning units in the lobby, near reception.

There was a leak in the bathroom which I showed management. Dirty towels behind the bathroom door and the toliet was not clean at all. Shower curtain was torren. However the rest of the room was in very good shape and clean. The pool area was freezing as they had the windows open.

Staff is extremely friendly! Which is rare for around these parts. I really enjoy the experience here at the “Days Inn (Ozark)”. It’s very clean and visibly well kept.

The lobby was roughly 80° and I have no idea what ridiculous level of humidity. Could not get the key cards to work for the issued room after three trips up and down the stairs the attendant finally came up the stairs to verify what I had already said and issued a different room, thankfully that one worked. There were several spots of blood on the tub and shower wall. The only redeeming quality was the beds were very clean and comfortable!

Had a little confusion at first about our bookings, but after that everything was great! Very clean, comfortable beds and friendly staff!

It was nice and clean

The breakfast was ridiculously limited and all generic brands. There were mattresses lying in the parking lot near the dumpster. The room was surface clean but needed a deep cleaning. Dirty windows and "fur" on the exhaust fan.

Subduable for a quick stay! Staff was great! However trash was never picked up outside so didn’t have a place to throw away stuff. Bed was comfortable but made noise when getting in. Enjoyed it overall all.

We found the smell in the hallways not pleasant. The back door entrance was cluttered and unkempt. We had to move the microwave to a different location to plug in for using. The fridge is not functioning properly. The TV mount bracket was broken, so the TV was slanted. The room was clean, but had an unpleasant smell. The bed was comfortable. There is no in room coffee. Very basic breakfast with minimal choices

The hot tub didn’t have controls for jacuzzi options. Our room had a wad of hair in the floor, a bag of pretzels at the sink, and the previous users coffee pod in the coffee pot. The room only had 1 coffee pod and 1 coffee cup addition. Even though a king bed room was to accommodate up to 4 people. There was no door hangers to request housekeeping to clean. so our trash cans were full so we had to provide bags for trash. We had 2 hair conditioners rather a shampoo and conditioner. The manual in the room said we could not have glass or food in the pool area yet we were kicked out for having canned beverages. In the other room I paid for, only had 2 electric outlets that worked. The complementary hairdryer had to be moved to another electric outlet for it to work. The free continental breakfast only consisted of a brown sack of a muffin, granola bar, and a fruit cup. No cereal, no milk, and no juice. Zero hot food.

It was an average stay. First room we got put in a/c was broken but they quickly moved us rooms. Bed was comfortable, definatly outdated, but for the price hard to beat.

They run my card about 8 hours before they should have! What if I was gonna use a different card? Got to the room and it smelled funny. Plug ins didn’t work, lamp was literally broken and could not be used. Wi-Fi was shut off and to go down and ask what was going on. Could only watch one channel in the streaming. No ice machine and vending machine wouldn’t work either

A normal Days Inn experience. Cheap motel but seemed clean. The cable fitting was broken on the TV so they gave us a different room. The recliner in the room was broken… I’ve seen nicer furniture on the curb. The free breakfast looked gross but there are plenty of fast food places nearby for breakfast.

This place is a dump. Dirty inside and out. Outlets don't work in the room, shower is terrible, bed is uncomfortable and because of the metal base it's noisy as hell. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Or better yet a blackhole and not a star.

As soon as you walk in an overwhelming musty smell. The room was clean. The beds were very hard. The pool was so cold we could not get in that was a huge disappointment. The hot tub was lukewarm and had a film on top of the water. The breakfast was a brown bag with tiny muffin tiny granola bar Peanut butter, crackers, and fruit cup. Not worth the $87 a night.

The man who greeted me when I checked in was very friendly and pleasant. The water pressure in the shower was great! As for what we didn't like: 1. Musty smell; 2. Room toilet smelled; 3. Mattress was the cheapest I've ever slept on in a hotel; 4. Furniture in the room was cheap and rickety; 5. Digital clock had lights out so it was impossible to tell the time; 6. Door lock only had one part with the 2nd part missing; 7. Breakfast is not a breakfast at all...no juice and who eats crackers for breakfast? 8. Woman who I checked out with was not cordial at all.

No one at front desk upon arrival, waited about five minutes before someone came to desk to start check in. Was not given password for the internet called front desk from room and call was sent to voicemail after quite a few rings.

The staff made this stay most enjoyable. They were very friendly and quick to accommodate anything we needed.

I went down Saturday morning to ask if any hot food was included for breakfast, and the guy at the front desk was completely asleep! I walked around a few minutes to find the "breakfast" and he never even knew I was there. The breakfast included the smallest muffins, bananas, peanut butter crackers, apple jacks, coco roos, and a loaf of bread to make toast. I've never been to a hotel with such a bad free breakfast in all of my years.

Was accused of not paying by clerk on duty. Came to my room and demanded a credit card. I was forced to show him my Expedia account where charges were applied and paid. Terrible!

When we arrived, reservation had been cancelled by an employee. Gave us a room, not a king bed. Had to go back and ask for a king bed room. Continental breakfast had a loaf of bread, mini muffins, apples, no juice as juice machine broken-not what we expected. No hair dryer in room-staff didn't know where one would be.

The rooms were clean and staff were helpful and kind. One issue was the room key cards, everytime you left your room, the card wouldn't let you back in, and it just wasn't ours, everyone else was having the same problem. Second issue was the "Continental breakfast". Was only offered children's cereal, toast and grape jelly, bananas and one day they had a shriveled orange and 1 hard boiled egg. Limited creamers for the coffee. Oh, BTW, the description of the room online states that every room has a coffeemaker, NOT TRUE!!! The indoor pool was cold and hot tub was VERY hot. We were there for 3 nights and our trash was never emptied and when my friend asked for extra towels, they told her to bring her dirty ones to the front desk. I feel like I was overcharged for staying in this facility. I guess you just take your chances anymore, but with being on Social Security disability, I felt $80 a night was a lot, but it was a lesson learned.

Upon arrival the outside appearance was, let me say, not really inviting. The parking lot had a lot of trash laying around. It was better in the check-in area. The room was okay. The fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling, so not sure if it was a working alarm or not. The bed was good and the room was clean. The breakfast wasn't much to write home about, but there are some restaurants close by to get breakfast. We were in Ozark, MO to celebrate our oldest grandsons graduation. There aren't many options for hotels in Ozark with Branson being 25 minutes south and Springfield being 10 minutes away, most people will choose to stay there. If you're looking for a no frills place to stay in Ozark, this is your place to stay.

It was convenient to get to the places we wanted to go. The extra latch on the door was broken. One reason we chose to stay there was indoor pool & hot tub, which were under repair at the time. There were kids staying there and we go to bed early and get up later and they were loud at night also in the morning. Juice machince out of order so only offered coffee to drink or milk. We left about 11:30am and thought they would clean the room but they didn't.

Everything was great about our stay, can't speak about breakfast because we didn't check it out. But check in and check out was a breeze, nice hotel in a central location it meet our needs for the trip for a night. We would stay here again.

Quiet and clean. I will stay there again. The included breakfast was simple, however hotel guests get a discount at the Village Inn restaurant (great breakfast) located right behind hotel.

This is an absolute horrible hotel. I booked and prepaid for a king room. Get to the hotel and find out the last king room had a broken air conditioner so was moved to room with 2 queens but was not willing to refund me the difference in fees. The room was a former smoking room and was absolutely horrible of smoke smell. The interior door lock was missing on the door. The light bar above the sink was missing a light bulb. The television did not list tv channels just a random code making it near impossible to find a channel. I went to call the front desk but no phone in the room. The curtain over the window had many holes in the liner making it look like it had been shot with a shotgun and let light in early in the morning. The breakfast was a disaster. That's all - two sugar cereals for kids, walmart white bread, pop tarts and coffee. The juice machine was out of order. The coffee cup lids don't fit so I burnt my hand when it spilt carrying it. I get home to find out that when they moved me to queen room they decided to charge me for the reduced rate but did not refund the original fee for the King room. To summarize, only stay here if you want to breathe in old cigarette smoke (the halls smelled as well, not just the room), get horrible customer service, not have a breakfast other than sugar, and risk having your card charged multiple times. I knew the hotel had a low rating on Hotel.com (5 out of 10) but hoped for decent. I rated it as a 1 but that is too high. NASTY

Breakfast was a joke. The options were wholly inadequate and we wound up eating at a restaurant.

The staff qas nice. The door to our room would not open. No coffee pot. TV wouldnt turn on. Microwave did not work. Advertised free breakfast and all they had was peanutbutter & jelly crackers and baby muffins.

Over hotel is clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and the hot tib. My only complaint is there was not very many options for breakfast. The boiled eggs were rotten and the only beverage offered was coffee

The area around side and back of the hotel had high weeds. The breakfast was a fruit cup, crackers, small muffin,and candy bar. The room was clean but the microwave beeped if it was plugged in. The staff was slow to get to the front desk in the morning. But they were polite. We checked out at 9:00am on Sunday 6/11/23 , haven't received credit for extra day charges.
