Hotel was very nice. Best part of our stay was the helpful staff... they all went out of their way to be pleasant and help in any way possible. We applaud this. Main complaint is the noise in the rooms. There are lots of guest stomping around day and night/opening closing doors and the rooms aren't noise proof given the age of the hotel. It was not a very restful stay. Given this, the value for the price of the stay wasn't worth it.

The hotel is lovely and in such a fabulous spot, our staff was STELLAR and the golf course in great condition. We ate at their restaurant and had drinks from the bar, while enjoying the scenery and comfy chairs and games available in the library. The only one thing that needs to change is the mattresses, absolute misery my husband slept on the floor both nights and I was in the middle of the bed (the only spot that was not sinking - but still lumpy. So sad because we won't return since comfort when traveling is paramount.
