Hotel La Villarosa Terme

The Villarosa Hotel was absolutely a fabulous place to stay- centrally located for all amenities. The staff were all amazing, Marina on reception, Silvsna and Michele on the bar and Mario and his team in the restaurant nothing was too much trouble and they were all so happy and courteous! The hotel has a charm and character all of its own and is beautifully fitted out with lots of period pieces that perfectly fitted a building if its age looking to retain its historical record. It’s how I’d imagine an Italian grandmothers home to be.. we had fabulous food and exemplary service throughout our weeks stay, the pool and the fabulous lush gardens and patio area were amazing too and the view for breakfast, lunch and dinner from the fourth floor were outstanding ! We will definitely return again thank you so much team Villarosa we loved you all !

My wife and I had an absolutely terrific experience at La Villarosa! The property is very beautiful, situated behind a high-wall gate in a quiet and picturesque alley not far from Ischia Porto. The walkway to the hotel is filled with beautiful gardens and plants. The building is a charming labyrinth of old-world, but well-conditioned rooms and chambers, as well as a terrific terrazzo rooftop restaurant with a stunning view of the water, where all meals are taken. On the property is a gorgeous thermal pool surrounded by gardens that was so refreshing for daytime cooling or night-time swims, with curative natural mineral salts. The rooms are simply but classically furnished, very clean, and we even had a small balcony with a nice view of the water. The bathrooms were modern and very clean as well. The food was fantastic...lavish spreads for breakfast, and the reserved lunches and dinners were delicious and service was great. Of noteworthy importance is the amazing level of service provided by the hotel concierge and front desk staff. They are excellent ambassadors for Ischia and our stay there was absolutely enhanced by our interactions with them...they pointed us in directions we had not considered and helped us make great experiences for ourselves. Shout out especially to Christina and Marina....(Ciao from NYC, new friends!!)

A lovely, if somewhat old-style hotel. Clean rooms, extremely friendly staff, excellent wifi. Hotel is not new and perhaps past its best days, but it is well maintained clean and very conveniently located in Ischia close to port and beach. The breakfast (as well as lunch and dinner if you have that at the hotel) is on a terrasse on the fourth flor overlooking the city and sea - absolutely beautiful views. Food is okay, but in some places the hotel has skimped on freshness of e.g. vegetables (canned instead of fresh) which is a shame given we're in southern Italy. The four course dinner is none-the-less very nice with real italian dishes being served. Plenty of chairs for everyone at the pool. Only slightly weird thing is that the pool is hot! I guess this is part of Ischias thermal identity, but given the weather was warm and sunny it would have been nicer to be able to cool off a bit in the pool. Beach is a couple of 100 meters from the hotel and access with a chair and parasols free of charge to guests from the hotel. All in all a highly recommended hotel.

Very helpful staff, great shopping near by, very near the beech, a good vibe,reasonably quiet.
