Stayed 2 nights

I was sadly disappointed with this hotel, especially after seeing so many amazing reviews. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the receptionist at check-in was lovely. Our room was perfectly fine, although nothing particularly fancy. The WiFi signal was also quite weak. The hotel is quite isolated, which made finding places for dinner difficult. We looked at the hotel menu, but the choice seemed very limited. It’s also worth noting that seems primarily a wedding venue. During our two-night stay, there were multiple weddings taking place. While the weddings didn’t affect the noise in our room, they had a major impact on breakfast. On our final morning, there were no tables available, with guests waiting and people trying to find spare chairs. Once we got a table, one of us had to stay there to prevent others from taking it. There was only one member of staff managing breakfast, and she was clearly doing her best, but there was very little food available and no milk for my partner’s cereal. We ended up having a quick coffee and cake before leaving as it was so chaotic. There were also several unattended children crawling around the food area/ running around, which we felt was dangerous — although this was more the parents’ responsibility than the hotel’s. Overall, breakfast was not a pleasant experience and the lack of food was disappointing. If honest, We didn’t feel there was any amenities at the hotel. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return.
