Amazing property with fun activities for kids and a very clean and safe beach with few free water sports activities. We were 4 families and it was lot of fun with kayaking, swimming along with yummy breakfast and very delicious Indian restaurant. The chef Atul was our saviour in the restaurant 😀

This is an amazing resort set in lush greenery facing the Andaman Sea. The setting is stunning. The kids club is the best we have ever seen and we had to drag the kids out of there to take them on excursions. The pools are lovely and the kids’ pool is great for those who are not confident swimmers. The slide is popular although it needs to be restored as it has some rough edges (not that it bothered the kids). The rooms are nice but there was a distinct smell of must from some of the bedding. This was slightly off putting. Also, the shower door let a lot of water through and the main faucet didn’t work. Not a game changer although it would have been nice if everything worked. We ate in all of the restaurants and the service was okay. There was often a lot of confusion over what we had ordered and some things never showed up at all, despite the staff being absolutely lovely. The food was good when it did show up. There is a spectacular fire show on the beach twice a week, which was a huge hit with adults and children alike. There is a massage shack on the beach where locally trained ladies deliver a variety of massages suited to everyone’s taste. Overall, we had a fabulous stay here and would definitely recommend it. We would put up with the few niggly problems again as the resort it so lovely. The pros definitely outweigh the cons by a huge amount.

Total oasis 15 mins from the airport. One of the only swimmable beaches and it’s lovely, with gentle waves in the morning and tree swings overlooking the shore. Incredible deep adult pools, impeccable service, delicious food at every restaurant, family areas with games, walkable shopping area. Transferred from another hotel on the east side for this and so grateful we did. Fully recommend. Only thing I would’ve liked would’ve been loungers and service on the beach.

From the moment we arrived we had an amazing time. We were treated so well by all members of staff and all staff were polite and friendly and someone was always there to help with whatever we needed. The restaurants offered great food options and the breakfast had so much variety and everything was delicious. There were 2 pool, both were great and the gym and sauna were high class. They even had a free shuttle every 15mins taking you to the local small village with a few shops and restaurants and offered a shuttle to Phuket town and Patong beach for a fee. They remembered it was an our anniversary celebration and gave my wife a crocheted rose and left a nice display on our bed. Overall cannot fault the hotel, it was a wonderful experience and I couldn’t recommend the hotel more.

You feel welcome and pampered from the time you get your welcome drink at check in and they arrange for a take you to the airport. Lovely room with plenty of jw marriott’s well known amenities. The property has lush tropical gardens to walk through, you can visit the sea turtles, dine at very good restaurants. We enjoyed Ginja Taste and Cucina. Every staff member was welcoming and went out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Fabulous buffet with so many tropical fruit choices, french butter, honey from the honeycomb, asian and western choices. Lots of activities. The acquatic tai chi class was wonderful. The wide variety of pools including the adults only pool was very much appreciated.

The property is vast, and its rooms are big. It's terrific that there is an adult section only for the pool, and kids have a special pool for a lot of fun. Breakfast is a wonderful treat. There is enough variety, but the quality is good. And there are many organised activities which one can do.

An excellent hotel for families, will brilliant food options, exceptional staff, great kids’ club and a particular highlight was the wonderful body boarding in the afternoons in the hotel beach’s sea. Also there are some nice external restaurants and shops in walkable distance.

The service and facilities at the JW did not match the brand's reputation. While it's understandable that the facilities may be outdated due to the age of the hotel, the shower drain was blocked, causing water to not drain properly. It wasn't fixed until after 2 AM, resulting in a terrible state for the bathroom and preventing us from getting any sleep until late into the night. No one offered an apology the following day. This experience was very disappointing.

Facilities including room condition were aged but well managed and cleaned. But should accept a little rusty tap water from and some ants in the room. All of the staffs were so kind, especially the staffs in the kids club provide good care for the kids. Foods in the restaurants were also great.

This is an older but very well maintained hotel, great food options, three beautiful pools and the beach is fantastic with soft golden sand and a mild surf. The people are super friendly and made our stay very comfortable.

We loved the location at the top end of the island - on a great beach well away from the craziness of the lower two thirds of the island. The food was overall very good - especially the a la carte options. Italian was great and of course the Thai was also good. Marriott always excels in the dining area. Pool was excellent, steps from the beach. Visiting pet elephant was good value. Pool table was great - but it meant having to listen to the not so great live band. Instead of hits from the seventies, a high quality Thai musician playing Thai instruments or a guitarist playing acoustically would have been so much nicer and classier. Our only real complaint about this hotel as a family would be that the bathroom design is insane and not private at all. The shutters opening on the room did not fully close and the lack of glass in this area and shutters on the door meant that everything in the bathroom was partially visible and fully audible. We couldn’t for the life of us figure out who this open design benefits - perhaps a solo traveller wishing to open the shutters during a bath? Weird - if you and your family like your privacy you might want to book somewhere else.

This is an amazing resort set in lush greenery facing the Andaman Sea. The setting is stunning. The kids club is the best we have ever seen and we had to drag the kids out of there to take them on excursions. The pools are lovely and the kids’ pool is great for those who are not confident swimmers. The slide is popular although it needs to be restored as it has some rough edges (not that it bothered the kids). The rooms are nice but there was a distinct smell of must from some of the bedding. This was slightly off putting. Also, the shower door let a lot of water through and the main faucet didn’t work. Not a game changer although it would have been nice if everything worked. We ate in all of the restaurants and the service was okay. There was often a lot of confusion over what we had ordered and some things never showed up at all, despite the staff being absolutely lovely. The food was good when it did show up. There is a spectacular fire show on the beach twice a week, which was a huge hit with adults and children alike. There is a massage shack on the beach where locally trained ladies deliver a variety of massages suited to everyone’s taste. Overall, we had a fabulous stay here and would definitely recommend it. We would put up with the few niggly problems again as the resort it so lovely. The pros definitely outweigh the cons by a huge amount.

I have been here multiple times in the past, the staffs and services are as good as before However, my room's air conditioning isn't working well and it's very hot. The manager and staffs are very nice and they tried their best to change to another room for us, but the air con is still not super cool so end up they gave us 3 extra fans I would like to come again if they upgrade the air con, that could be a show stopper for next visit Other than that this is the best hotel

This property is stunning-the landscaping and interior design is exceptional. The grounds are gorgeous and rooms take advantage of that. Honestly it is one of the more beautiful properties I’ve ever seen. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and a delight to relax in. There are 3 pools to choose from with plenty of seating. The resorts in this area are kept unobtrusive to the beach so there is just a long stretch of walkable beach front. You can walk to close by ‘village’ dining or other resorts. You are more out of the way geographically so its very quiet and peaceful. People we spoke to come back there year after year for weeks at a time and love it. The staff is amazing. I would definitely stay there again

The property is vast, and its rooms are big. It's terrific that there is an adult section only for the pool, and kids have a special pool for a lot of fun. Breakfast is a wonderful treat. There is enough variety, but the quality is good. And there are many organised activities which one can do.

While the property itself is beautiful and serene, the team's exceptional care and personal touches made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. They showed incredible empathy and support when we had to leave early due to a family emergency. A special thanks to Hitesh Khantnani and the Marriot team for the kindness. We had such a wonderful and memorable experience that we're already returning for another vacation soon.

From the moment we arrived we had an amazing time. We were treated so well by all members of staff and all staff were polite and friendly and someone was always there to help with whatever we needed. The restaurants offered great food options and the breakfast had so much variety and everything was delicious. There were 2 pool, both were great and the gym and sauna were high class. They even had a free shuttle every 15mins taking you to the local small village with a few shops and restaurants and offered a shuttle to Phuket town and Patong beach for a fee. They remembered it was an our anniversary celebration and gave my wife a crocheted rose and left a nice display on our bed. Overall cannot fault the hotel, it was a wonderful experience and I couldn’t recommend the hotel more.

You feel welcome and pampered from the time you get your welcome drink at check in and they arrange for a take you to the airport. Lovely room with plenty of jw marriott’s well known amenities. The property has lush tropical gardens to walk through, you can visit the sea turtles, dine at very good restaurants. We enjoyed Ginja Taste and Cucina. Every staff member was welcoming and went out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Fabulous buffet with so many tropical fruit choices, french butter, honey from the honeycomb, asian and western choices. Lots of activities. The acquatic tai chi class was wonderful. The wide variety of pools including the adults only pool was very much appreciated.

we arrived after a long flight at 3 in the afternoon they gave us a very far away room that was under maiantance and when we complained and asked for the manager no one seems to understand.we only got the room at 6 in the evening . OUR credit card did not work in one of the resturants because of a connection problem .the staff not effcinet because of the language i dont think we will go there again

The food was overall very good - especially the a la carte options. Italian was great and of course the Thai was also good. Marriott always excels in the dining area. Pool was excellent, steps from the beach. Visiting pet elephant was good value. Pool table was great - but it meant having to listen to the not so great live band. Instead of hits from the seventies, a high quality Thai musician playing Thai instruments or a guitarist playing acoustically would have been so much nicer and classier. Total oasis 15 mins from the airport. One of the only swimmable beaches and it’s lovely, with gentle waves in the morning and tree swings overlooking the shore. Incredible deep adult pools, impeccable service, delicious food at every restaurant, family areas with games, walkable shopping area. Transferred from another hotel on the east side for this and so grateful we did. Fully recommend. Only thing I would’ve liked would’ve been loungers and service on the beach.

If you are looking for a place to have a good time, without the craziness of party crazy Phuket, but still want to join the party at your own pace and time, this is the place just 10 minutes away from the Airport and 40 minutes from old Phuket (most of it due to traffic), the facilities are well kept service was good as well as the food especially the Italian Restaurant, the stuff was extremely friendly and welcoming. do doubt one of the best part of our trip.

JW Marriott Phuket is great on service. My wife was sick but when they couldn't offer any assistance due to their off duty nurse, they offered a basket of fruits as compensation the next day! Only gripe we have would be its distance from city and shopping belt.

Amazing property with fun activities for kids and a very clean and safe beach with few free water sports activities. We were 4 families and it was lot of fun with kayaking, swimming along with yummy breakfast and very delicious Indian restaurant. The chef Atul was our saviour in the restaurant 😀

The restaurants offered great food options and the breakfast had so much variety and everything was delicious. There were 2 pool, both were great and the gym and sauna were high class. They even had a free shuttle every 15mins taking you to the local small village with a few shops and restaurants and offered a shuttle to Phuket town and Patong beach for a fee. They remembered it was an our anniversary celebration and gave my wife a crocheted rose and left a nice display on our bed. Overall cannot fault the hotel, it was a wonderful experience and I couldn’t recommend the hotel more.

You feel welcome and pampered from the time you get your welcome drink at check in and they arrange for a take you to the airport. Lovely room with plenty of jw marriott’s well known amenities. The property has lush tropical gardens to walk through, you can visit the sea turtles, dine at very good restaurants. We enjoyed Ginja Taste and Cucina. Every staff member was welcoming and went out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience. Fabulous buffet with so many tropical fruit choices, french butter, honey from the honeycomb, asian and western choices. Lots of activities. The acquatic tai chi class was wonderful. The wide variety of pools including the adults only pool was very much appreciated.

This property has a beach front location making it easy access to the water. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The pool is expansive and had plenty of room for our group of eight. We dined one evening at Ginja and had a delicious meal. Service staff at the restaurant were gracious and friendly. The buffet breakfast was one of the best we had on our 10 day trip. Do not miss the French Toast! The front desk staff were very helpful in securing a taxi to the supermarket for us. All in all, it was a wonderful stay!
