Their website claims they have a restaurant but it’s only open for breakfast. We needed a quick lunch before a tour and they turned us away because they were bringing in a bus load of people from a tour group. There is no where in walking distance to eat… they seemed very worried about people stealing their towels- you had to go to the office to trade them in and there was often no one there…. I had a big list of issues- just choose somewhere else.

The property was lovely! It is a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very helpful with all our inquiries and restaurant located on the property was very convenient for early morning breakfasts.

Vi trivdes väldigt bra i lägenheten med separat matrum och kök ( vi bytte från ”Studion” som vi inte gillade). Fin trädgård, trevligt poolområde och extremt hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Det krävs en promenad eller bil för att nå den otroligt vackra Playa Flamingo, men det är det värt. Playa Brasilito och Playa Conchal kan man också ta dig till med längre promenad, också fina. Men inte lika bra som Playa Flamingo tycker vi

This was a hotel in a gated community, so we were given gate opener to come and go which was great! It felt safe. Parking in front of building. Room was large/spacious, very clean, wall unit with shelves for clothes/articles but didn't have clothes hanger. coffee maker/fridge/TV. Room had plenty of light. Small two-person sofa which we easily turned around to view TV. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was nice, but not enough of lighting. However, outside of bath was a good mirror with good lighting. Shower head was one that rained down from ceiling, not an adjustable head but still ok. Nice place with lovely surroundings and pool, very quiet. It was on main road so not hard to find, however, if you want something to do in the evening and don't want to drive, especially in fall and winter months where sun goes down early then suggest finding something closer in. There is a beach nearby and Playa Flamingo beach wasn't far.or hard to get to. Only problem was not being close to anything you could walk to at night. Pool was open late so you can go there, also had a small balcony with a table and chairs. Staff was very nice. We did not eat breakfast so can't comment on food.

Easy access and the grounds are amazing. Housekeeping cleans your unit every day. Our apartment was right next to the pool but the noise from the kids playing did not teach the bedroom. Areas around the pool cleaned daily and the pool was sparkling. Did not smell of chlorine as most pools. The staff waited for us to check in as we got a flat tire on our way there. Very kind and helped us book covid tests before we returned back to US. I could not have been more pleased with Casas del Toro and would love to return someday.

The facility walkways and grounds were beautiful. The check is process could be a bit more effective by having a standard set of items to go over with the guest and summary sheet or even something in the room - such as what the key fob is for, the Wi-Fi password, breakfast hours. Our check in seemed a bit rushed and did not cover the above items effectively.

El hotel es precioso, cómodo y limpio. No hay mucha opción de desayuno y no estaba muy rico, una sola persona atendiendo y cocinando y no era el chef, porque si lo vimos el día que llegamos (sábado) pero domingo y lunes no estuvo, el mesero cocinó lo cual nos pareció raro. La limpieza que solicitamos la hicieron MUY por encima, yo suelo estirar la cama y no se preocuparon por hacerlas porque las vieron estiradas, no me cambiaron las toallas y la toalla de manos que se nos mojó se la llevaron y no pusieron nueva. Pero como estaba muy limpio al llegar pues al haber sacado la basura y medio pasado la escoba, funcionó. De ahí en fuera la verdad si lo recomiendo muchísimo el hotel es lindo, seguro y aseado. Queda cerca de varias playas :)

We expressed our concern with the facility of their inability to offer the accommodation as advertised in Expedia. first the room bathroom was not functional, could not be flushed and the shower was not working. Also the tv in the room was not functional. We had booked two nights and ended up checking out following morning and did lay out these concerns with front desk.. The facility manager did not even want to talk to us. The rate for the facility is a -2. The 2nd night should be refunded as the facility accommodation was sub standards

We stayed for a week. The location is beautiful, peaceful and very well-maintained. The landscaping, flowers, greenery and birds are a highlight. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The Playa Flamingo Beach is exceptionally beautiful but not within a comfortable walking distance so your own or paid transportation is needed.

Vi trivdes väldigt bra i lägenheten med separat matrum och kök ( vi bytte från ”Studion” som vi inte gillade). Fin trädgård, trevligt poolområde och extremt hjälpsam personal i receptionen. Det krävs en promenad eller bil för att nå den otroligt vackra Playa Flamingo, men det är det värt. Playa Brasilito och Playa Conchal kan man också ta dig till med längre promenad, också fina. Men inte lika bra som Playa Flamingo tycker vi

Easy access and the grounds are amazing. Housekeeping cleans your unit every day. Our apartment was right next to the pool but the noise from the kids playing did not teach the bedroom. Areas around the pool cleaned daily and the pool was sparkling. Did not smell of chlorine as most pools. The staff waited for us to check in as we got a flat tire on our way there. Very kind and helped us book covid tests before we returned back to US. I could not have been more pleased with Casas del Toro and would love to return someday.

We expressed our concern with the facility of their inability to offer the accommodation as advertised in Expedia. first the room bathroom was not functional, could not be flushed and the shower was not working. Also the tv in the room was not functional. We had booked two nights and ended up checking out following morning and did lay out these concerns with front desk.. The facility manager did not even want to talk to us. The rate for the facility is a -2. The 2nd night should be refunded as the facility accommodation was sub standards

The facility walkways and grounds were beautiful. The check is process could be a bit more effective by having a standard set of items to go over with the guest and summary sheet or even something in the room - such as what the key fob is for, the Wi-Fi password, breakfast hours. Our check in seemed a bit rushed and did not cover the above items effectively.

Their website claims they have a restaurant but it’s only open for breakfast. We needed a quick lunch before a tour and they turned us away because they were bringing in a bus load of people from a tour group. There is no where in walking distance to eat… they seemed very worried about people stealing their towels- you had to go to the office to trade them in and there was often no one there…. I had a big list of issues- just choose somewhere else.

We stayed for a week. The location is beautiful, peaceful and very well-maintained. The landscaping, flowers, greenery and birds are a highlight. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The Playa Flamingo Beach is exceptionally beautiful but not within a comfortable walking distance so your own or paid transportation is needed.

This was a hotel in a gated community, so we were given gate opener to come and go which was great! It felt safe. Parking in front of building. Room was large/spacious, very clean, wall unit with shelves for clothes/articles but didn't have clothes hanger. coffee maker/fridge/TV. Room had plenty of light. Small two-person sofa which we easily turned around to view TV. Beds were comfy and clean. Bathroom was nice, but not enough of lighting. However, outside of bath was a good mirror with good lighting. Shower head was one that rained down from ceiling, not an adjustable head but still ok. Nice place with lovely surroundings and pool, very quiet. It was on main road so not hard to find, however, if you want something to do in the evening and don't want to drive, especially in fall and winter months where sun goes down early then suggest finding something closer in. There is a beach nearby and Playa Flamingo beach wasn't far.or hard to get to. Only problem was not being close to anything you could walk to at night. Pool was open late so you can go there, also had a small balcony with a table and chairs. Staff was very nice. We did not eat breakfast so can't comment on food.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was really nice and helped with anything we needed! couple beaches nearby. Our favorite was playa flamingo which was only a 5min drive. PURA VIDA!

El hotel es precioso, cómodo y limpio. No hay mucha opción de desayuno y no estaba muy rico, una sola persona atendiendo y cocinando y no era el chef, porque si lo vimos el día que llegamos (sábado) pero domingo y lunes no estuvo, el mesero cocinó lo cual nos pareció raro. La limpieza que solicitamos la hicieron MUY por encima, yo suelo estirar la cama y no se preocuparon por hacerlas porque las vieron estiradas, no me cambiaron las toallas y la toalla de manos que se nos mojó se la llevaron y no pusieron nueva. Pero como estaba muy limpio al llegar pues al haber sacado la basura y medio pasado la escoba, funcionó. De ahí en fuera la verdad si lo recomiendo muchísimo el hotel es lindo, seguro y aseado. Queda cerca de varias playas :)

Overall, my stay at Casa del de Toro in Playa Flamingo was enjoyable. It was nice to be away but not to far away from things to do. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and overall very helpful. The room was clean and the AC kept the temperature at a reasonable level.

The staff was very friendly and available. The location is ideal to be close to beaches and shops without having to be right inside it, although recommend you have your own rental transportation so you can come and go as you please.

This is a 10/10 hotel. The staff is beyond kind and goes out their way to help. Upon arrival- I was very impressed with the room size and decor. I have been to many 5 star hotel and the room size, comfort and quality was below this hotel. The rooms are huge with high ceiling and good AC. Do not let the cheap price fool you. This is a 5 star hotel for its comfort. Beautiful court yard and friendly kind staff. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s in close driving distance to many restaurants and shops and beaches.

This is truly a gem of a stay. Everything is so close…beaches, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, shopping. Gated with good parking and plenty of shade. Three pools to choose from and the nicest staff we had our whole trip to CR. Highly recommend!
