They require a cash deposit on arrival and have an atm to get cash that charged 4 dollars on top of the fee from my bank so plan ahead. Had a strange musty smell which we solved with essential oils and febreeze.

I have been a loyal guest at the Colony Inn for approximately seven years, and following my initial stay, I provided a five-star review and frequently recommended the establishment. As residents of Las Vegas, my family and I have consistently chosen the Colony Inn for our visits to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and the local beaches, and we have never encountered any issues until recently. I reserved a room for July 17th and 18th, 2026, and specifically requested a first-floor room due to a knee injury, a request that was confirmed as fulfillable. However, upon our arrival at 3:00 PM on July 17th for check-in, we were informed that no first-floor rooms were available. I reiterated my medical condition and the difficulty I experience with stairs, but my concerns appeared to be disregarded. Despite this, I accepted the situation and proceeded with the check-in. We were assigned room 408, located in an area of the inn that typically accommodates long-term guests and has historically presented a less desirable ambiance compared to our usual accommodations. Upon entering the room, we noted that it was excessively warm and lacked blackout curtains, an amenity I have always observed in other rooms. We set the air conditioning to 60 degrees Fahrenheit and attempted to rest after our journey, but the room remained uncomfortably bright and warm due to direct sunlight. I subsequently requested a room change, but my request was denied, with the explanation that we had already checke

My recent stay at the Colony Inn was a huge disappointment, despite my seven years of loyalty and recommendations. My confirmed request for a first-floor room due to a knee injury was ignored, and I was assigned to an inferior, hot, and stuffy room with no blackout curtains. My attempts to change rooms or even get a sheet for the window were dismissed, and to top it all off, the room was infested with cockroaches and had a broken showerhead. This experience has completely changed my perspective on the Colony Inn. 😤 #CustomerService #HotelFail #Disappointment #Travel
